A sad day. We have decided to archive this to allow the park a new cache if necessary. The saddest part is that this is the first cache we ever placed . The new construction makes this a bit public, and once found, we seem to have repeat mugglings. Now for a new one......
It might be a good idea to check on this cache.
I'm in town for Christmas and happened to be walking my parents' dog in this park.
I found this cache quite some time ago so can't be sure if I looked in the correct place, but I did find the stash note on the ground within 10m of the tree. If the stash note was on the ground the cache may have disappeared.

Ah, how sad, will temporarily disable until we can check it out. New building in the area may also require a move to a more secluded spot.... our first placement so keen to preserve it.
Found with YuGeo4, a very popular place for a cache, thanks for bringing me here. TFTC TNLNSL (1424)
Dropping this off so rchdlyn can take it to Cuba - to the roots of the dance salsa among others
Just passing by and dropping in a TB for distance.
Picked up Ice age Scrat from richdlyn - wow, big fella.

While here, met with migsand who picked this out of the cache - saved a long stay..
We were focussed on that separate type vegetation, avoided the head height goals and the dogs. Great place. TNLN Thank you.
Out with entire tribe this pm. This one found by Mrs Nilfisk! Could have her hooked on this as well. TFTC.
An easy find at the solitary feature. We note the large (sports?) building being erected across the stream faces straight at the cache. TFTC

General location of cache obvious from a distance. Left Geocoin "Round The World". TFTC
A poplar place for us and Mrboss to visit. We are writing a short note to dip in a TB we are touring around for a while...
Nice walk in as the locals enjoyed some soccer. Didn't realise it was on a dog walking track as I spent more time dodging dog walkers than I did doing the admin. In the end I still got caught and the poor ladies got a fright that ay man was sitting behind the tree apparently having a very small morning tea. . TFTC.
Nice easy find in the park. The sheep across the stream were watching us but I don't think they will disturb it Thanks.
Found old cache and relocated about 90 degrees away.....

Quick and easy find to start off day 3 of a caching holiday in the area.
Added a skeleton and a badge to cache contents, which seemed a little thin.

Nice hide in nice park
I did put something to the cache, but did so many in last few days and did not always note what it was in my book.
thanks for the cache
(had to delete and re-do this log on correct date)

#575 (13/24 on a Waitangi Day excursion to Ashburton). Hardest part of the cache was walking across the park on a hot NW day. On the way back took photos for NW arch requirement of Canterbury Plains. Nice big park. TFTC.

Walked around the park with Mr Boss passing and checking on the gz. Thought this time, to bring the camera to record some of the damage caused by the recent gale. Natures wrath!!!
Easy find, although painful. Watch your head when you stand up from leaning forward!
I guess I was the one delegated!! cache was much easier to find than expected! Surprised us all. A wee stroll whilst others enjoyed the event chat. thanks.
Spent an enjoyable afternoon in and around Ashburton. Thanks for the company and the coins.
16:36 Found while at event. Had to phone a friend to find the event but this cache was no problem. Actually I thought I showed excellent delegation skills... Log was signed and thanks from all concerned...
Our first ever geocache find. Nicely hidden -again can't believe I've walked past this so many times without realising!

Good playground. Obvious spot to find cache. Took a sticker and left a wee butterfly & keytag.
Thats a big specimen, started in the wrong place and needed almost a full revolution.

Had hoped to show this coin some Guides and Bownies, but we have had it too long already. Dipping it in this cache in Ashburton before passing it directly to another cacher as per mission.
Dipping in Maurice to account for his travels to (and time spent in) Ashburton before heading back to Christchurch
Wandered across in the dark and drizzly rain. It was somewhat spooky that from where I parked, I could just see that there was a line on the grass pointing me to the item in question - a pitch sideline I guess. A pretty quick find, luckily. TNLN, Thanks.
#1203 Poplar place with dog owners as well as cachers. Had to wait a while for the coast to clear. TNLN DS8300
Quite a busy place. Even the lawn mower man was busy in the very area so did the photography thing for a while. Cute placement. Picked up "Morphing Butterfly" TB -"I <3 2 Dream" badge +active smiley sticker. Popped past to say hello but no one was home (O: TFTC

Dropped in this amazing coin on a mission to travel far & wide within NZ. Please help it.
While there noticed that with the bare winter branches the cache has been left exposed. Please cover with organic matter.
Cheers

Posted another photo - thinking of the kites seen here on occassions - this was the crab that was spotted from across town, on its way down. Another Mr Lynn creation, I think. Ted now safely cruising Neslon area.
Nice stroll in the rain to the obvious location. I'm off to Nelson but didn't realise there was a Ted to take. Sry.

We probably didn't pick the right time or day to search for this. As it turned out the location was secluded enough to get the find without attracting any attention. Was a nice spot to watch all the kids playing football.
TNLN, TFTC.

Found just on dusk on my way home from Christchurch. A nice opportunity to stretch my legs.
ADV's 600th cache find.
Started to drizzle so took the umbrella but got very wet feet from the grass. Nice easy walk and general location isn't hard to find. Quick look about and found cache without trouble.

Quite an easy find, really nice area, I left behind a Norwegian 50 oere coin (I live in Norway)
What a bonus! The kite flyer would have been the International Renown Kitebuilder - Mr Lynn. He often tests the kites here. Will uplod some pictures of his kites I took some time ago.
Some one was out playing with a very large crab kite in the park so that was an excellant bonus, sorry left camera at home so no photos. TNLN.
Turned up in the morning and as I was about 20m away, two muggles on bikes showed up and decided to play in the trees. 20 mins of waiting / wandering and still no luck. Off to do some more caches and come back 4 hours later and they are still there! Back 2 hours later, no muggles, and finally got the cache. Easy find once muggles have gone! TNLN Thanks.
Easy find. Stretched the legs after a long drive

Another park and our second cache find. So many hiding spots. I love looking at everything in the cache and took home a grasshopper that I just absolutely loved.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
This was our second find which was good as we didn't find the first cache we tried to find.
My printed the page of as we didn't have a GPS.
Then Mum and Dad couldn't agree which tree was a poplar, Mum won and we soon found the cache.
