Cheers

***sorry, forgot to add, the cache has been severely affected by recent rainfall. Somehow even the bagged log is sodden. Unfortunately we had to run off to a medical appointment & didn't have time to replace the log. We just tried to dry it out a bit.

Easy find as cache exposed. Replaced with some cover. Cache contents all wet except log book. Left pencil for log book, magnet and TB. Took toy watch. Great area for a walk with kids. Thanks to Luck Dog's Crew.

I enjoyed the clues for this one, very cute. The hint put my mind at ease, after meeting the Luck Dog at a recent event I was worried something might have happened. I trotted off to GZ to the music of a local boy blowing a bottle. Over and over. And over. I hope someone gives him talent for xmas next year. The cache was sitting out in the open so I made sure to cover it back up in what looked like its hiding spot.

Thanks for showing me this spot,

R - B

Thanks to Luckdogscrew.

Found at 5:45PM on the 21st of October by Maya and Ray, watched over by Greg (gahpee), who has already found this cache, it being just a stone's through from where he lives. We are visiting Greg and Bev for the day and we all plan to do the Possum Hunt tonight after dark. Looking forward to that one. This was an easy find, and fortunately nicely removed from the main path so that walkers did not cause a problem. TNLN. Thanks for the cache. The Nomads

Nice walk on a sunny winters day ..... great. The cache was soon found once at GZ but the container was full of yukky brown water Surprised. We did our best to clean out and dry off the contents, replaced the log ziplock bag. The container seemed to be in good order and the lid fitted OK so I do not know how the water got in.

Took Nothing
Left A "Keeper of Time" + 3D Stickers

TFTC Luck Dog's Crew, you might want to check it out next time Luck Dog's out for a walk.

It does look like a great park to run in!

Took a bit of searching to find the cache as there were a number of potential hiding places in the area of GZ, but found it in the end.

Took: coin
Left: Polly Pocket

Closest cache to home yet! Only about 100 metres away. We used to walk our dog here too but now he's so old he can barely walk so those days are over. Thanks for placing such a convenient cache. TNLN. Greg and Bev

13-Apr-07
A nice linear park for the locals. No problems with the clues at WP1 and the cache itself in an obvious location didn't take long despite the trees effecting the signals. Thanks Luck Dog's Crew for the walk and the cache.

Loevely looking park and walkway! I could see myself walking here often if I lived closer. I'm glad Lucky is anatomicly correct. Cheers.

When I arrived at the published co-ordinates, there was a gaggle of parents and some kids playing on the equipment. I felt somewhat conspicuous while I sat and calculated GZ. Unfortunately, due to the way my PDA displayed the calculations, I got the anwer to A wrong, only using the number of yellow seats.

This put my GZ over 1 km. away. It turned out to be in a general area that could support a cache, so I duly parked and headed to GZ. Once there, the specific point did not have any hiding spots, so I returned to my PDA and discovered my error. Once fixed, I headed back to where I was before. The gaggle had left, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Found the cache without much difficulty.

Thanks for the cache and for showing me a bit of this lovely area.

G'day Luck Dog and Crew,

Our 1st Luck Dog cache was found at 1:15pm as the 7th of 17 on our Northern Suburbs Sortee. We can see why the pup likes this area. Thanks for the cache. Took the TB.

Kind Regards,

D,H & A B-A

I can see why Luck Dog likes this spot. GypsyWanderer may have been using Pythagoras when we did Parking at Rear, but she nearly forgot to do the required multiplication at the first waypoint. Fortunately she realised before we finished all the clues and set off. The GPS had an attack of circular motion under the trees (lots of going around in circles), but then we found it. Took the Mustang travel bug (my first TB find; I'll see if I can do some photos of it); left 1066 Norman soldier.

03-Mar-07
Quite a few of those trees have large holes under them. Wondering how many geocachers have their hands bitten off.

24-Feb-07
Once again the Solomon family were in attendance and this time at GZ. We guessed what Luck dog looked like and it turns out that we were spot on. Easy find considering Solomon family were in the process of logging it. thanks luck dogs crew

24-Feb-07
10th find of the day at 11:33am. Acompanied by Feathertop.
Like everyone else we had to have a guistimate on the number of paws which wast that dificult, upon reaching GZ we saw a familier face Mr Solomon sitting against a tree filling in the log book. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanks Luck Dog's Crew....Big Grin

Having met Luck Dog, it made the cache a little easier Smile Squire enjoyed the mandatory playing at WP1 and we then had a running race down the path to GZ. When we got there (after another stop off on the swings) it took me a little while to locate as the GPSr was all over the place - probably because of the tree cover. Once in hand we moved a little distance away and both Squire and I signed the log. About to put it back when we were met again by Feathertop and Oenze, they must have completed the 5km challenge in record time (I love the bike Oenze ) - nice meeting you again. Thanks LD's Crew. What I want to know, is how does Luck Dog The Geocaching Puppy use the Garmin with those big paws? Smile
(let alone not shreading the map with those big claws).
As Chewin' explained, a complete stuff up had us sniffing around in a paddock, nowhere near GZ. A re-read helped and put us on the right track just as the sky stared to growl.
Several circles were walked in the pines as the GPS didn't want to play (the muggles enjoying the swimming pool next door didn't help our concentration either!).
Eventually found, logged, and we were out of there before the heavens opened up.
Thanks for two good walks today, Robmc.

22-Feb-07
Managed to make quite a dogs breakfast out of this one which might have suited Luck Dog incidently. Didn't notice the multiplication factor so went on a rather long detour.
Discovered the mistake and found the cache just in time to avoid a thunder storm and then we had to hitail it home so Robmc could get to work.
No swaps from this one but thanks.

Found at 1.45pm GAFF1. As it was such a hot day today, we stayed in the vehicle to work out the co-ords and then actually drove around to a spot that was just 54m from GZ. Walked through a wonderfull stand of Monterey Pines which smelt like Christmas as we passed. Thanks LDC for a good cache and story. Took:
Flourescent liquid thingy, Left: Cat collar for Luck Dog to play with!

Fourteenth of Twenty-two finds for the day, the cache was found at 13:30 in the company of Dak. 15:05. Luck dog must really hate those no dogs aloud signs. This was a little confusing, Dak came up with some numbers and the cache was found. Thanks.

[Twelfth of 22 finds with acts2youthgroup on our usual Wednesday assault. The questions at WP1 confused me. I have never met LuckDog, so I didn't know how many legs/ears she might have. On the other hand, there were signs at WP1 with a picture of a dog on them. Was that "LuckDog"? If so, the answers were still ambiguous (how many paws can you see, and does the dog have ears?). Sad We made a decision about what the question referred to, and our guess was correct, fortunately.] The questions refer to the real LuckDog, not the sign. [We found this one at 1505. I made no exchange. Thanks to Luck Dog's Crew for the cache. Cheers, dak.]

Great cache

Meet a group there

Took Texta and Geocoin

Found by Pickupfamily Dad in the company of Pickup Tiger at 1420hrs. We were nearly in despair as we ruled out what we thought were all the obvious spots, somewhat hampered by muggles working in the nearby yard, re-checked our co-ords. Lots of walking in circles kept leading us back to the spot where we eventually made the find with excellent co-ords. TNLN. Thanks for your first cache LuckDogsCrew, a lovely area.

10-Feb-07
We were back on our bikes for a morning's run to check on local caches and found LDFP around 10:45 (don't know how close this was to Pickupfamily's visit, but if this keeps up maybe we'll meet one day). Took Mamma Mia TB and left Tennis ball keyring.

10-Feb-07
Found at 2:20pm by Pickup Tiger.
I managed to locate the first waypoint easily, though I had trouble finding the answer to the questions.Red Face
When I got to the second waypoint the GPS was usure where to take me. [:(!]

Found at 5:30pm. Would also be a favourite park for Boxerdog if she knew about it! Lost the signal temporarily in the trees but finally located cache. Thought I was being watched by a neighbour but I think I was being paranoid.
Took Irish coin
Left water pistol

Thanks Luck Dog and Luck Dog Crew

Found by Bob at 1025

There's nothing like a bit of a caching detour on the way to work - especially on a nice, cool morning (for a change). I was able to do a couple of caches on the way here, so it really made the longish detour worthwhile. I was scratching my head for a minute or two at the posted coords, but then everything became clear and I was able to wander off for an easy find. It's a nice area for parks, playgrounds and remnant bush, and somewhat under utilised from a geocacher's viewpoint - so it's great to see a fairly new team setting up shop nearby.

TNLN, but did take the Geomutt TB

Thanks Luck Dog's Crew - a fine 1st cache, and hopefully the first of many more in the area Wink.

Doh, it seemed suspicious no gc.com emails last night... and so I miss this. Ah well...

05-Feb-07
Took a quick check of gc.com before leaving work, and noticed this new cache had popped up only a few km away - and no logs as yet. With the sniff of an FTF in the nostrils I was off and collecting clues. Took a walk along the well kept track and approached GZ. I was wandering under trees while the GPSr settled when I was asked "are you geocaching?" It was K and Luck Dog. After a chat, the cache was found and the first page was blank!
Alsume's 20th FTF was in the book.
Took Aussie geocoin & koala & very impressive FTF certificate - haven't seen one like that before.
Left TB Mamma Mia! & monkey plant tie
thanks Luck Dog Crew - I know why Luck Dog likes the area.
