As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Have been here ages ago with no luck and lots of muggles about. Stopped by again today while caching on this side of town. The cache was found quickly, but only the lid was there???? Checked the last logs, and it confirmed the same. Had bogonghazy with me, so we did a very thorough search of the area hoping to locate the bottom half of the cache, all to no avail. So I couldn't log it Thanks for the lid Highrod!!!
Found only the lid (Had Geocahce stickker inside it). Looks like spoilers have been at it.
Tried this one unsuccessfully a couple of weeks ago but an easy find today on my bike ride. TFTC.
Found this one on our Ballarat three day caching blitz with Purpledreamer.
Nice quick find with no muggles about today.
Many thanks for the cache.

Saw this cache had been relisted. Quite close to me so I went and grabbed it today. Nice quick find, TFTC Highrod
Had to spot it first before I was willing to put my hand anywhere. Kept thinking "please don't drop keys...". Another clean and shiny cache waiting to be found again. TFTC
Replaced with a new cache container, this time with a magnet, after the old one had been swept away in the flooded creek!
Suscoe arrived here at the Bridge of Death ready to deal with what ever confronted us but.......
The subsequent search revealed the cache but not before a rabbit caused a little concern.

Thanks to highrod for this special cahce.

Well, the Holy Grail was reached after a few crosses of this Bridge of Death.
I was more worried about needing the Holy Hand-Grenade of Antioch if I came across a white rabbit.
I think this was in a little further than intended, but gentle manipulation enabled me to extract it.
My thanks to Highrod FTC, and the great theme behind it. TNLNSL

Awesome hide and good como. I am beginning to feel like a troll hanging around under bridges, hehe.
I was just wonder what is the difference between an african and european swallow. After looking it up there doesn't seem to be that much of a difference at all, they both are about the same size. Wether they are capable of carrying a coconut, I doubt it.

P.S. How do know so much about swallows?
Before leaving Geelong to attend the10 Year! Ballarat, Australia Event I had a call from tackle_head asking me what I was doing and if I was coming up to Ballarat I could join their team of cachers consisting of 3up, The Empire and squalid.
After the Event it was off to find a few caches in Ballarat before heading back to Geelong. On approaching the great little bridge I had a quiet word to Monty who told me where to look and as I speak Parsiltongue the Python who lives under the bridge stayed there so it easy to wander over the bridge and back.
Thanks highrod for placing this cache and bringing us out here.
Find # 1162 @ 15:40 and the 21st of 30 finds on the cache run whilst attending the "Ballarat 10 Year! celebration event" with squalid, The Empire, tackle_head, and Bushfire.
Having failed the first question, I took my chances and commenced the search quest. Squalid did the grab and we made it out alive. TNLNSL Thanks highrod for the cache.

Nerdy jokes aside, I'd tried to do this cache at night and failed miserably (torch died, mobile phone light too weak and almost falling in creek) but a return in daylight and the hint to crawl around the bridge, I found the cache soon enough and twisted my arm around just enough to grab it. Thanks for the challenge!
NONE SHALL PASS!
ummm Green!
Cache was a tad exposed, but we made sure there was some camo when we left.

Such A CUTE little bridge. I was expecting something a tad more menacing and fog bound, but this cute little guys wasn't going to intimidate us much.
As we approached scene 23 was played out between Jess and myself (both avid python fans). It would seem that we both knew the correct answers as both of us were permitted to cross the bridge.
Jess came up with the goods while I was on the other side.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks highrod for a fun experience at he Bridge of Death.

Found at last. Our 4th attempt as we were passing through Ballarat on the way home from Beaufort caching. Today we were determined to find it. We clambored over and under until a chink in the armour was spotted. With Mr VP4's eyes guiding Mrs VP4's hands it was finally recovered. We had all but given up until a photo of the cache was observed in Snakecatchers log so we persisted and have finally been rewarded. Swapped a mighty-bean for a carabiner. SL TFTC

Found it ok but retrieving it was a little challenging thank goodness for small skinny smallfry. what a muddy mess after this one don't think it was supposed to be quite so inaccessible didn't replace it in exactly same position a couple of cm easier. Hope that was ok. Couldn't get it back exactly.
The kids really enjoyed this one swinging along the bridge. Thankfully no one fell in! I did have to ask them 3 questions though

.And Saint Catcher raised the GPS up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this Thy GPS that with it Thou mayest blow Thine geocaches to tiny bits, in Thy mercy." And the Lord did grin and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and once the cache be reached, then lobbest thou thy GPS of Antioch towards thy cache, who being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it." I didn't find this one when I last looked about 8 months ago. This time I found it in the first minute or so. Such is caching.
We found our 5th Highrod cache at 8:50pm as the 28th of 29 on our Ballaratatattat Tour III. Not sure if this would have been easier at nigh or day but the lady who lived nearby where we parked possibly seemed a bit concerned by our presence. Thanks for the cache from D,H & A B-A.
More unfinished business from our last trip. GPSr still wanted us on the other side but it was much easier to spot this time. Exchanges made. TFTC
Found today by Mr Emu & Demon Boy @ 1.00 p.m., GAFF1 http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/GAFF . No. 8 of 25 on our "return to Ballarat" day, our biggest caching day so far.
We had unfinished business with this cache from almost a year ago, so it was very pleasing when Demon Boy spotted the cache within a minute or two of us arriving. It made us realise just how much our "geosense" had developed since we began caching early last year. Thanks for the challenge highrod.

We have been here a few times to look and the GPS has always been out by about 10 meters. Finally managed to find it in a spot we had checked each time before just caught a glimpse from a different vantage point.

Hello, When I arrived at the Bridge of death there was cache related paperwork (Geocache Info and a finder's card)on the ground around the bridge. I couldn't find the cache but I believe it has been tampered with. Can you please check to see if it has been muggled. If the cache is still there I will have to change this to a Did not Find!
I found the cache at 14:05. A nice quick find was had and I decided not to cross the bridge but to run away runaway. Thanks highrod for the cache.
