As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Yep, that looks like the remains of the container. D*mnit! I am so sick of replacing caches that have been stolen or mutilated.

Will replace asap.

Found the cache. The container was missing its lid, had the clasp broken and looked as though it had been burnt by someone/something... needless to say there was nothing inside

Found easily during de 2nd day of our honeymoon on the way back to our Hotel from Davenport, with the grat company of Toño and Marisa from Santander who didn't know about geocaching. Very nice place, almost deserted at 7:20 pm.

17-Feb-08
A bit of time to spare before the ferry left to take us to the Rangitoto Events Cache so Rick-a-mortis, tribe of 4 & HeliRC.....so what does one do with spare time, go geocaching of course. A good warm up exercise leading to an excellent day out. TFTC

14-Feb-08
The harbour is completely still today. Thanks for the cache.

10-Feb-08
Nicely hidden, but easy to find. A good walking place for muggles so had to time myself when putting the cache back in its hiding place. Thanks!

08-Feb-08
I really enjoy this area & often go there on my day off.
Lovely walk, cool breeze and calm waters today.
The proximity of the park bench complicates things a but for this cache, but just adds to the brain part of it all.
Dropped off a lovely little tortoise that can continue it's journey. Picked up Georgia, the Swiss tennis shoe that wants to get to America before it's brother, Harry who might still be in Europe. Left WV pin too. TFTC

06-Feb-08
It was interesting searching with so many people around but they seemed more interested in what they were doing, which was good for us. Thanks.

02-Feb-08
I found this long ago under my previous log-in name but happened to be passing (whilst roller-blading!) so thought I'd check on it again.
Nice cache- nice views.
When muggles pass they tend to loiter...
TFTC
(And I don't recommend blading round there either!)

Good hide. Like the Camoflague NTNL

22-Jan-08
Visiting from California. Came over on the ferry to sightsee but when a rain squall forced most of the muggles to hang out under awnings I lifted my umbrella and hotfooted it to find the cache. Took the dorkfish geocoin and left Georgia TB, signed log. T4TC, my 725th found!

22-Jan-08
Another in my series of covering local caches to my workplace. Nice little run to here, which I must admit to having tried before, to no avail- quite muggle intense! No probs this time, though. TNLNSL. Cheers.

10-Jan-08
Found this nice little cache. A few muggles were about on this warm weekday morning, but not so many as to spoil the find. Added an aquatic geocoin, because it seemed appropriate!

01-Jan-08
Yes I can see why hunting at night time would be best.
Boys complaining because of the 'long' walk from the ferry, so no willing helpers to find cache. Went and looked at nearby anchor before going back and finding the local playground.

01-Jan-08
Found this one a while ago but hadn't logged it yet.

30-Dec-07
Beautiful summers day so heaps of muggles walking by. Went into stealth mode and sent junior Zorgon into hunt while I sat down and directed the search keeping a good lookout. Liked the camo around the cache. Most appropriate. Many thanks.

14-Dec-07
A perfect place for a stroll after lunch on this lovely day. The coordinates may be off just a bit, but it was easy to find. Great camo. TNLNSL. TFTC!

05-Dec-07
A very quick visit to Devonport before heading to the airport. Starting to rain to we were please ot was a pretty quick find (by Troodles) as we wouldn't have hung in there too long.

04-Dec-07
Good quick find, only the briefest of pauses as muggles passed by, fortunately the builders on the opposite building site were sufficiently obscured by the shrubs and vehicles. TNLN, TFTC.

02-Dec-07
Great cache.

Found with "The Moor we Hunt..."

02-Sep-07
4.0pm. Parked the car and sat and waited for a reasonable gap in the muggle stream. An easy find. Liked the wrapping - it looks like paper rubbish caught in the scrub. The Diabetes TB did not appear to be in the cache. We left a new TB plus a whistle and bracelet.

Interesting experience this one. Originally went down yesterday evening to pick it up but abandoned the plan when what we thought was a persistent muggle camped down on the nearby bench. Turns out it was Funkymonkey!! As we were walking away we saw him dive into the garden, so guessed he was a fellow cacher! On the basis that he was therefore not likely to be a muggle threat went back for a bit of poking around but in fading light missed the hiding place (we thought he may still have had it in his car, but I suspect we were just suffering from performance anxiety!).

Anyway, went back today and picked it up. Took the TB and left a geocoin. Many thanks for the cache, our first in New Zealand!

11-Aug-07
Quick easy find. Watched from the car as some other geocachers/maybe cache owners/weirdo muggles searched the garden right where the cache is. If they were cachers, they didnt find it, and if they were the cache owners, well, they searched a lot so they didn't know where it was.

Anyway, it wasn't hard to find. A nice little spot for a cache, although pretty busy muggle-wise.

Reading the logs it looks like "kiwicache" has the U4D TB, but they haven't been caching for a while so I guess it's gone.

In: Golf ball, Harry TB, King of hearts and 2 4c sailing ship stamps.
Out: 10 rupees

Thanks,
Chris & Vera.

Glad you found it; wasn't me you saw there. Must have been some confused cachers!

03-Aug-07
Rala could finish work some hours earlier today, so we headed off to the Northshore to get some caches there done.
Rumo rummaged around at the place the GPSr indicated, but Rala had the better instinct. When after his fruitless search Rumo looked where she pointed at, he immediately found the cache. Perhaps she had a better reception Wink
Nevertheless, we enjoyed the great nightly skyline panorama.
