Logs
After some thought, and a nudge, this one will be archived off to allow others to utilise this great area with a better hide.
the area is highly visable, and it seems that it is also well looked after. hopefully someone else can make use of this area, and make a multi, or a trickier hide, without using the playgrround or resorting to a micro
cheers

Add one more to the list - Please the owner should check up as we enjoyed wander the path and saw babies of duck (see pics)
This one had slipped my mind.
Ill drop past, and see if there is an alternative location, but given that when i placed this cache there were limited places, i might just have to give up on this one

Add one more to the list. If I'd seen the previous logs I wouldn't have bothered, but I didn't, and I did. Once I got here a large muggle came and played on the swing after I had managed to have a look, and then left when I did???
We also had no luck here, I rang a friend to confirm I was looking in the right location too
Thanks setsujoku I will be back

Couldn't find this one even though there were three of us and no muggles to be wary of..
What exactly do these xmas containers look like?! 3 of us again and no luck again! Left empty handed with bruised shin! Ouch!
We also had trouble with the "lapping Chinese Lady", but managed to find it all the same. Good spot.

Were watched by muggle ducks. Remember this area being established - had friends who used to live nearby. Left a klem bear and a fish magnet and took a bear with a butterfly. TFTC
4 of 24 finds (&2DNFs) for the day.
Bought some breakfast at nearby Macca's and sat on the bench and watched a local walk their dog. Feed the ducks and watched them with their babies.
Easy retrival when the coast was clear.

Nice location and easy find apart from postie riding his bike past just after we left! Took geocoin, left coloured balls.
Managed to find even though an elderly chinese lady was chucking laps with her lap dog around the pond.

CNS at 09:00. Sat and watched some muggle hit a tennis ball for his dog over and over and over again , don't these people have work to go to . Did not attempt a search, will be back.
Found easily with no muggles in sight. With the fountain working it is a beautiful sight in a beautiful well kept park.

Mumma Simmo found this one, anticipating a TB but it was already gone, the second missing TB today. Took a frog left a bug. TFTC.

5th of 12 FTD. Nice park. GPS has us looking for a while but once it settled down a quick find. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1720. We visited this park during our last Adelaide visit, but the muggles beat us to it. Great to return today and meet with success soon afterwards. The water level is considerably higher now than it was last time, and the fountain is even operating. TNLN. Our thanks to setsujoku.
Found today. On a very wet day. Good hide. I don't want to know what else is living in that hidy spot. Note to self must wear gloves!!? TNLN. TFTG.[:x]
And a very nice pond it was to. Luckily the only muggle left the playground as I rocked up so it was a nice easy find. TNLNSL, thanks setsujoku.
Easy Enough find. The park is looking much better after all the work that's been done to it lately.
Easy find just didn't reach far enough the first time, as it was there after a reposition and a second look.

Found today while I was in the area. Grabbed it while I was waiting for the birds to kick in. Thanks!
with thanks to the frog man under the dark of night, this one is back up and running
Driving past with a replacement in the kit I decided to beat the owner to the punch. Lovely spot today. The fountain was going off and the ducks were happy.
Question is do ducks get mad cow disease?

have been for a wonder around the park a couple of weeks ago, and decided that the location of the cache needs to change, but had problems coming up with a suitable new spot.
am tryin to find the right size/type of containter, to try out in a new location

Oh dear, sorry, geokid2 must've have slobbered on it, and it slipped into the pondness...[?][?]
Pondered Freddos statement about the collective finds of the 'great ones'! Well serves them right for passing our castle so close and not stopping in!!!
Want me to check it Martyn?

Something to ponder. The goneness of this cache has been confirmed by four cachers with an accumalated 11500+ caches under their collective belts.
Is this a record? Definitely something to be proud of.

Gone I am afraid. Goneness verified by starman.
Nice park. I remember trying to fit this one into Come Play With Me. Wrong.

Bugger
We need to organise another parrot party so that we can have enough containers for replacements as well as initial hides
Will go through the cupboards and see what i can come up with for a new container, and might have to shift to a new spot

First DNF on my visit to Adelaide in company with acts2youthgroup and HawMorFords. I might as well add our lack of success on this cache. The three of us spent considerable time poring over the area in ever-widening circles before we finally gave it away. I couldn't help wondering whether we were being observed from the nearby house. Now I can't help wondering if one of the residents of the house might be responsible for muggling the cache. I now see that maccamob logged a DNF on this one a few days earlier. If I had known that I wouldn't have put this one on the list; When maccamob DNFs one, you can be pretty sure it's not there.
Well, we pondered the pond, the ducks, the rocks and the bushes, but no inspiration was forthcoming. Oh, well. We had a good day yesterday, so a miss today was on the cards. Still, it was a good spot to ponder, so thanks to setsujoku for bringing us here.
Found ok being really close to work on the way home. No muggles around but when I got back to the car a guy came out and asked when was I going to finish off the renos to the park!!!! Thought I was from the council......had a bit of a discussion about why they were taking so long which took his mind off the snooping around stuff.

Took the newest TeamHurtle member (geokid#2) for a walk today. 5km round trip to see some ducks and to check out the fountain that is now a just a pond. There used to be some big concrete monolith in the middle. Found easily, whilst sitting and pondering how I could get a 6 week old to throw bread to the ducks! Left a patch Took the FinderFox Geocoin.
Thanks
Thanks
I think TBG may have gotten it wrong. These are definately the friendliest ducks in the world!!
Swapped TB for geocoin.
Cheers, TFTC.

Thanks to rishari for stocking up the cache a bit, unfortunatly i didnt have any more small trinkets to stock the cache with, and for some reason a SAFM shower radio wouldnt fit in there...
No worries! We thought we'd mention it in case a youngster may have muggled it by only taking the swaps and leaving the rest. And yes, the radio might've been hard to fit in - in one piece, anyway!
Pretty sure I logged it for the 10th instead of 11th, don't remember dates when I'm on annual leave. Took nothing, left wanderlust TB.
Busy day to be pondering.
Even a traffic jam for ducks... so I left a blue antistress band.
Clear skies, TeamAstro.
The Stanleys' story sounds scarily similar to ours~ LOL!
Shopping, lunch, finding of listing, dashing out (with 2 yr old and dog in tow for us)- alas we got second! It was abt. 2-2:30 pm and the whole place was deserted. Nice area though.
Since there was only the 1 item in the cache- we didn't take anything, but we did leave a few swaps from which others can choose.
Beautiful breezy day- warm sun and cool air. Perfect weather for caching.
Out: Nothing
In: anodised metal ring, sudoku puzzle card, au flag pick

Got home from shopping at Marion to find there was a new cache out quite close to home. We were both very hungry so made a quick lunch and ate it before heading out. Was worried that lunch may have cost us a FTF, but need not have worried. Whoo Hoo!
This park has certainly improved from the dry concrete fountain that it used to be. Absolutely no one else around today and don't know why it is such a nice day. Ducks came over to talk to us. No swaps. Thanks setsujoku

Nice spot but very busy even on a saturday evening TNLN eventually got the cache when the lady walker stopped doing her laps around the pond
