Time to go... It the hide gets remade in the appropriate manner then we will reactivate if we can.
Gone for now. Facility is under new management. Will replace when the change is complete.
Finding the location of the cache came quicker than expected. Looking at the calculated GZ in google earth, it looked like it would be a quick find. Arriving here today we suddenly realised we had a choice of elevation. We certainly couldn't see a small container, despite looking both up and down several times.

I see it but not touch it. How frustrating, but then that is the story of urban caching particularly in the city - always lots of people. It's part of the challenge. Another time.
GPSr had us searching about 20m away but we found it very quickly once we widened our search area.
Thanks

After figuring out how those shapes related to man made structures, I had the location a few weeks back, finally did a drive by and found the cache incredibly quickly - surprised myself. TFTC

Another one close to home that I can finally, finally put to rest. And when I finally did find it I felt a little foolish cause I swear I'd looked there before......oh well, a great challenge TFTC
Solved this a while ago (local knowledge was noticeably absent), and didn't realise how close we were until hitting the 'Find next closest' button! A check high, followed by a walk and some good caching sense by Mrs O had the cache in hand. TFTC le Freddo le Grenouille.
Totally happy with myself for working out the location, but after two visits the cache is proving elusive! How is it that a man named after a chocolate frog who I've never met can cause me so many headaches! TFTC Freddo, I'll get back onto this one when I can look at it with fresh eyes.
This was cache # 3 of 68 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanaza. Are I have read so many of these books, thankfully having failed three times here Alan had a good hint and the cache was soon in hand, no one around this early in the morning. My thanks to Freddo le Grenouille for the cache.
My third go at this one. The first time I could only guess at the starting point, the second I managed to get close to gz, and this third I was armed with a hint. Even so we were so early at gz that I feared that we wouldn't get access, however we got that and a free reign and the cache was quickly found. Thank you Freddo for a different sort of puzzle.
This cache was full of drama.
I awoke as sick as a dog and I planned just to do half a dozen caches before finding a doc.
Shortly after retrieving the cache and sitting in my car I was involved for the 4th time with the police while caching.
Three police cars came screaming into the area with sirens blazing. A policeman approached me but paid no attention to electronic gear and cache sitting on the dash and asked me how long I had been there.
I said not long so apparently I missed whatever caused the commotion. However I felt guilty of something and to regain my composure I sauntered off down the road after another cache as it was a full half hour before the cops left and I could replace it.
Don't need this drama first thing in the morning.
I sort of expected this cache would not give up its fight without a sting in the tail.
Thanks Freddo

I was pretty chuffed at myself for working this one out. Having never been to Adelaide I had no idea of the area and resorted to a few geometric skills and assumptions to locate the general area. From there it was a bit of trial and error until I located the cache but got there. This was much easier than that similar puzzle in Mt. Gambier, much easier (and more fun!).
Thanks again,

PG was a very naughty girl and set off the fire alarms while looking for the cache - Motto - Don't smoke and cache ! WD told me not to panic as Hurtle would soon be on his way but he never arrived ! Luckily I saved the burning children and we were soon back on our way towards my Mega Miliestone of 1000 caches ! Thanks to the Firey Frog
Puzzle eh???
Thought a bit, yep, local knowledge, knew where that was and the rest was history, Thanks Freddo.

This was a unique and special find, Ciril met Lioness for the very 1st time as Ciril is Lioness' Big Brother and was adopted out after birth.
We enjoyed meeting while caching together, thanx Freddo!

This cache has played heavily on my mind since my failure to getafix on it a couple of years ago [:o]
I had been out walking around the nearby hills in search of wild boar (and caches) this morning and as usually happens on such walks, my mind wandered to the problem of locating this cache
So this afternoon I dropped by the nearby dispensary and had a swig of the magic potion
With renewed vigour I set off for a slightly different location this time to look for Asterix's cache
By Toutatis !! I found it
Although I really did feel like the sky was falling the whole time I searched [:o]
TFTC, at last [^]

Worked this puzzle out quickly, but the cache has remained elusive [B)] until now, despite several visits to the site.
Eventually had to get some help and found we'd looked in the right spot, but just not the right place!
Took elephant. Left Marble. SL.
Another well thought out cache [^] - Thanks again Freddo le Grenouille.

This is one that I looked at and thought "What the!" and put it away.
Unfortunately for me my quest is to clear all caches in the city boundaries so I needed to come back to this one.
Had a look at the images and something seemed in parralell to something elser and thus fitted here and that fitted there. Now what.
Went to the general area and had a bit of a look around and after getting confirmed I was in right area, came back this morning and found the cache.

Nice puzzle, knew the building needed, we thought. Confirmed by source, but still needed help for the actual gz.

Little wonder Asterix had lost his cache - I found it in the obscurest of places!
Joan was with me for the day. My friend helped me with the answers. I had to ask my friend for help. I eventually found it. Good hide.
Thanks Freddo for the cache.
Thanks Freddo for the cache.
know the buildings but cache-less, must return in the daytime. Found a knife----ewwww!!!!!
After some shonky logic, it was time to go back in time. Unfortunatly i wish that i could go back in time, and not stood in the shonky substance next to GZ (though the laughter from the car would have suggested otherwise)
Moved along quickly for more local caching before dinner

The asterisk I knew the location of a long time ago. It was only this afternoon I discovered the location of the cache. Not the easiest to do at 4:30pm on a school day. TFTC
Work out the puzzle and arrived GZ - couldn't find the cache so asked a friend for help me. Finally found it excellent hide spot. SL. Thanks Freddo le Grenouille for organising the cache and hunt.
#5 of our record day of caching.
Found in the company of ParrotHead and Skippy on a lovely evening as they showed us the highlights of the Adelaide caching scene. FLIPPER&CO joined us at the scene of the crime to continue our journey. TFTC.

Had been puzzling over this for hours when the answer became obvious (with a push). Out for a late night check of suspicions and home happy. Left a frog and took a camel. It's evil freddo- how random can you get. Sure made us look closer at what we are going past every day though.

Trouvé après un pub agréable déjeune pendant la pause de jour férié. A pris un moment pour trouver avant Noël, renvoyé pour noter aujourd'hui. Merci Freddo
Are'nt translating programs teriffic
Visited our Flipper 2007 geocin as it had not been out to play recently, but this one does not stay, it always comes home with us.

Very cleverly thought out cache. We expect nothing less from the maestro. Went in the dead of night. Still some muggles around but managed to get what we had come for without any problem. thanks Freddo le Grenouille
well the image is easy when you get on the right road, The cache is easy to find once you find it, we checked there twice before and missed it both times, but today was payday must have been all those shonky numbers still running through my head after the walk.

I had no idea where the picture was meant to be, so I left it on the backburner. Then inspiration for a data mining method hit, and I soon had it found in google maps. Made the find today - muggles everywhere, but quiet near the cache.

While we live in a time of heightened terrorist activity it seems many have forgotten what happened in early July 1985. The French government committed a terrorist act in a foreign country. The country was New Zealand, the target was The Rainbow Warrior. I do not agree with state sponsored terrorism which is why I will not write my log in French.
Log begins; It took a while as was looking a long way from GZ. Used to shop nearby years ago.

I think my menhir looked better!
Nonetheless a menhir.
Glad to be able to put a * next to this one.

With a nudge I found the right shapes, then discovered another shape that said, "The cache is here!", but it wasn't.
Must learn French one day. The jouer est ne lost pas.

Yay.
Never had much success with Google with this one but talking with people one day I thought I could remember a suitable building for one of the shapes. A check on Google a few weeks later and sure enough, this could be it!
Checked today and it was.
Agree with Unicyles, more like 100m.
Left Mr Hanky the Chrismas Poo TB.

Found at 16:35. I made a couple of passes before, but muggles made me feel like a car thief. Got a tip from Astro today. I think a projection of 95m - 100m @ 284 degrees might be more accurate.
Thanks for this one Freddo, it's been bothering me for some time.

Oooh! that was easy. Now for the hard part. Projecting myself 243degrees 1605kms Gimme a couple of weeks [:o]
Not willing to call it a DNF yet but totally lost as to what to do. Went to GZ and couldn't work anything out. Now I'm home and have looked on maps and stuff and I'm still clueless

And I used to love reading Asterix many years ago in primary school. Maybe it's been too long as there is no flash of inspiration happening here!
