A check today confirmed the area is still inaccessible. The boardwalk is locked off after suffering structural damage during the January floods. As it is now more than six months after the damage occurred and the Shire has not yet started the repairs I can not see the area being reopened in the near future.
Therefore I am archiving this cache.

Cache and cache hiding spot have floated away during the floods.
New cache and hidey hole should be up and running in the next few days.

We had trouble getting a couple of the answers to the last couple questions
A worker got them for us but rain got heavy and we ran out of time. A section closed as a tree had fallen
were we had to walk Will finish this one next time in Echuca Thanks

The cache is still wet but is good to go. When I get a chance and the weather is fine I'll grab it and get it fully dried out.
Followed all the clues and found this one today.
You need to travel towards WP2 before you can actually get the clues where WP2 is?
The cache was full of water due to recent floods. I emptied the water out but it will need a few hours in the sun to dry out properly

Could probably up the terrain rating to a five and require a canoe, but the cache has probably already floated away due to the floods.
Finally got back to this one. Tried it when I first started caching, but didn't understand what I needed to do. Got it this time, still had a little trouble with the clues, but experience won out. Tftc.
My first interstate cache and it was right near where i was staying. Nice find TFTC

This one took us 2 goes as the batteries of our GPS ran out the first time, a nice little walk with the dogs aswell. TFTC. Left a doll
After an unsuccessful first multi cache, did well with this one. Took lizard, left dice.
Need lessons on using GPS I think, not bad 3 out of 4 finds for first timers though.

Almost got this one the night before but the darkness beat us. Clues are a bit confusing, had enough info to find the cache without bothering to go to WP2.

Thanks for a very interesting search. Had a bit of trouble at the start but got back on track in no time.
2nd find of the day, and 2421st total find at 10:46.
Well we decided that we wouldn't be leaving town early this morning, so we could do a few more caches before dragging the caravan out of the park and taking it home.
We thoroughly enjoyed the walk around this peaceful place.
Took: Nothing
Left: Screwdriver
Dropped Geocoin

We started this cache before heading to the RSL for dinner and decided to finish it off before heading back to our accommodation. It didn't take too long to finish finding the required answers and the cache was soon in hand
Thanks again WazzaAndWenches for the cache

Got some of the clues for this one before dinner, and then the Adam & Mr Coffee decided to give the rest of this one a go afterwards! The girls made the sensible decision to stay warm in the car. Cache was in hand after a bit of a wander by torchlight. Thanks for the cache!
Seems I didn't understand what needed to be done to find this cache.
Sitting back at home I think I knew what I should have done, will try again when we're in the area.
Thanks anyways WazzaAndWenches.

We found this cache at 5:30pm as the 20th of 24 on our Echuca Event Cache Day. We got to WP1 but could not understand the WP2 reference as there was no GHI before that point in the description. We gave up and followed our nose to gain the rest of the info. A very nice spot and our first NSW cache for this trip. Thanks from D, HA, H and A B-A.
Micheena - Thanks for the lovely walk, although geoteens thought it was to hot. Had to recheck one co-or (just can't trust teens).

Found this after a quick visit to local market, walked the lovely boardwalk, kids loved it and so did I!
Then at GZ lots of photo's taken in the old .... near by.

Went walking as the mist was lifting only to end up in the wrong spot. A phone call and on the spot assistance was given. Thank you for your time and why is it little mathematical error cause such grief. Took a bird whistle and left a travel bug, 575691,SCAW. A great spot to wwalk and well done to the shire for such an informative board walk.

Actually started this one on the 17th when we walked from our caravan park to the bridge in the evening, a distance of about 5km according to the gps. Enjoyed the walk though despite the cold. Jen wasn't too keen to wander about in the bush in the dark so we came back in the morning to complete the job. Just as well we did as we'd have missed out on some remarkable scenery not to mention lots of bird life. Enjoyed reading the stories and of course finding the cache although it was still very cold this morning. Perhaps even colder than last night!
Thanks indeed WazzaAndWenches and very nice to meet you too.

An early morning walk around the Moama boardwalk was made complete by finding the cache. We've done this walk before and read all the info so it was a reasonably quick task. TFTC.
My last cache before dinner and a lovely time in the evening to tackle this one. One or two mosquitos about but I kept moving and my eyes open until I had all the required information.
Nice little hide in a peaceful part of Moama that was new to me.

Really enjoyed this multi, nice little walk over all the boardwalks. Watched a couple of tortoises swimming around the shallows, made for a bit more interest. And the characters on the plaques were worth a chuckle too. TFTC Took Freddie TB, will add a couple of MFB badges and send it on it's way. Thanks again.
Very interesting place. Great hide. Dropped of Freddie the Travel Bug and picked up Travel Bug Jennifer_Punki.

Thankfully I had a previous finder with me on this one otherwise I would have misinterpreted the first wpt instructions for this one and come up with the wrong number.
A great boardwalk, seems there are a lot of these around the area. Had a chuckle at the Chinese name.
GZ and cache found easy. Thanks for the walk. Cheers.

Well, this is one of the most enjoyable multi's we have done.
The location was great, the historical plaques were entertaining and the way it was structured really ‘milked’ the most out of the location.
Left nothing
Picked up the TB for a drive south
Congratulations and thank you WazzaAndWenches for this wonderful cache

This was a nice stroll through a wooded area and highlighted the history of Moama and the district.
An easy find after reading the silver plaques along the way.
Watched several old paddlesteamers plying the Murray River with their "cargo" of tourists.
Bertie the Bear loved the romp in the woods too!
He even saw a few muggles walking by.

Found at 15:30, the tenth new cache on my Victorian weekend visit. A nice drive to a place I haven't been to for years. A straightforward cache find that the geokids would enjoy, though I wouldn't be letting them poke their hands into GZ - it looks a bit too tempting for geosnakes. I was hoping to find Jason's Satellite GC here, but there was no sign of it, and 'If' had logged out a different one a few days before. All a bit confusing...
Despite that, I enjoyed doing this cache - thanks, WazzaAndWenches

I was a bit indecisive at one point as to how to continue but a stroll around soon provided some guidance
I raided the cache of the Dak's Desire geocoin and grabbed the Kida Kumback travel bug to move further NE.

This was a great fun cache with the lights on the walkways making it fun even when we walked the long way round. Thanks for showing me the walkways.
I was out caching with rally on our 070707 caching day. I really enjoyed this cache we did the full circuit of the walk way. The gps took a little time to settle and we went in a circle or two before finding the cache. Thanks WazzaAndWenches for the cache.
Found today at 16:15 by the whole clan on an afternoon of entertainment provided by wazzaandwenches. Enjoyed this one, thanks, very interesting and again a place that we hadn't visited before. In: Wrench key ring and our Six of Diamonds; Out: Bracelet. Thanks again - Penguin Clan

This was the second find on our Echuca visit today. We had been to this area before the cache had been placed, but we didn't complete the walk. So this was good chance to do the full circuit. We got to Wp1 and did the count. But then we needed a compass to do it right, so I had a quick dash to the car.
Once at the point 80m from the posted co-ordinates we found the clue to the south co-ordinate of Wp2. But where was the clue to the East co-ordinate? There is no mention of FGHI until almost at Wp2. But we don't know where Wp2 is. (Actually, if the posted co-ordinates are Wp1, then we are now standing at Wp2 and trying to work out the co-ordinates for Wp3. But now I am being picky.) So we guessed that we had to follow the boardwalk and the plaques. That seemed to work, and we soon found the clues for the final cache location.
Some great yarns were related on the plaques. One talked about shop keepers being caught selling tobacco out of hours. I wonder why they had restricted hours for sales of tobacco. Of course I shouldn't be surprised. It was the mid nineties before Victoria's supermarkets were able to sell red meat after 8pm. Which meant I ate lot of chicken and sausages.
A short search found the cache at GZ at 11:15.
No swaps. Thanks for an interesting walk.

We didn't have time to tackle this one when we were over here last time but did today. Stopped in at the market prior and grabbed a few bargains in the fruit, vegie, and jam department! I never ventured over to this spent when we lived here and found the walk very pleasant and the plaques very interestiing to read. D worked out the sums and we soon had the cache in hand which remains in good nick. TFTC WazzaAndWenches. Cheers.

Found early am as it was not worth trying last night in the dark. The info & the walk was interesting as I had only ever driven past here every time I have visited over the years. Had to guess one number as I forgot the info, but the satellite gods still made it a good search in the area with lots of options and hiding places.

In architecture, a pier is an upright support for a superstructure, such as an arch or bridge.
Hope this clarifies the problem a little.

[76] 5.25pm - What an interesting walk you took us on - Thanks! TNLNSL - TYFTC WazzaAndWenches [eufb?] - Cheers [PS we also had a bit of a discussion as to what actually was a pier]
We found this one pretty tricky as we must have had the old pages and there was some debate about exactly what a pier was. The geogirls enjoyed the walkways and even read some of the amusing plaques. We needed the clue because of the mix up but soon had it hand.

We were preparing for a prior commitment when we became aware of this new cache within our usual search area, with special thanks to our geo friend! With a rather narrow window of opportunity we decided to proceed with a search.
We are now pleased we made this decision as this multi turned out to be a very interesting stroll down the local histories lane, so to speak
Although our GPSr had difficulty in deciding on a precise co-ord near GZ, resorting to the hint narrowed our search area sufficiently.
We Left one of our usual Mondo Figurines for the cache and took a Bluey Day Badge and CFA Fridge Sticker as requested.
Thanks eufb, for this well constructed multi, which brought us to a significant feature, within a locality renowned for many such features.
