Well, we went wrong with this one somewhere. I really think we were in the wrong place. We had the needed supplies. We found a parking spot. We walked down an alleyway of smashed glass complete with a knife lying on the ground. PB’s comment was ‘ well at least it doesn’t have blood on it.’ We went around the corner and approached GZ, which was pretty much devastated and weedy. Also there were angry muggle voices just over the fence. After a very brief look in a couple of spots, and discovering nothing but flies and a certain “smell’ we decided to retreat.
What a great idea.. Didn't need quite as much of the object as thought, but brilliant cache... Thanks for this one...
Out caching with RichKai and CrystalFairy, so ditto CF's log. We came across one like this in Hamilton, so knew what to expect. Great idea.NINO, TFTC
Approached by the long way across the bog. Squelching muddy grass everywhere. Took a moment to spot, wondering if we were in the right place. Then ahaaah, we'd seen this sort before. Used our precious equipment to retrieve the cache. Had to go and get extra tools. Returned the shorter way. Could do with a CITO round here! A fun cache. TFTC.
Found in the company of YuGeo4 - Ambushed by a cannie landmine - ooh err - pooo tink - really pongy - Mrs Yeetree not too happy. TFTC

Quick find in the company of Yeetrees, with ADV along for the ride – had an idea of what to expect, have already done a few caches of this type before. Poo wee, what a stink… one member of the team was attacked by some canine landmines – fortunately it wasn’t me…

My 100th. . As I approached, I wondered if it had been muggled as work is been carried out in the area, but trusted the gps and bingo.... I had an idea what to expect after doing a cache like this last month in Nelson so was prepared with the right equipment. . Was intending to put a cache like this up the coast. Hope you don't mind if I still do.

I have decided to re-enable this cache where it is for now. It does need shifting though - when I figure out where to.... Tested it tonite, it works.
A quick rece to check what was required then a short diversion was made returning with the required equipment. Minutes later the cache was in my hands (I had learnt the technique at 2 similar caches) and the log signed. Thanks for the cache. Cheers.
Thanks to the help of a cacher friend I now know how to solve this one. I had to explain myself to two police officers who were called after I was seen looking 'suspicious'. It was a pleasant conversation, one was greatly intrigued by geocaching and the other was wondering how much he could get a GPS for. I didn't have all the materials I needed (I never much liked science at school), so will be back soon... most likely under the cover of darkness.
Phew. Cache logged sans constabulary!
TFTC, OB! I'm a little disappointed in myself that I didn't have the patience to solve this one all on my own... ah well, live and learn, next time I'll make sure to bring the train timetable

Having solved two similar caches I figured out what to do pretty quickly, unfortunatly I didn't have the right stuff with me so went on an aquisition mission, by the time I came back the muggles were feeding outside so I had to wait, finally grabbed the opportunity to nab the cash -thats right CASH, found a $20 note in the grass about 5m from the cache..... if only I could do that ever time I find a cache, I'd almost be able to pay for all the petrol I use searching for geocaches.
Fantastic cache concept!!!
A relatively quick find as I came prepared for this one.

After seeing one in Aucklnd with a very simular theme but not getting time to do it I had to check this one out, had me thinking for a while then I thought you twit its the same as one of mine in Nelson then it was easy well done!
AARGH... found the cache, had all the necessary bits (well I think we did) and couldn't extract what I think we needed to..... makes sense? Will have to watch this one to see if any more clues come up. Third today of OB's - what a fantastic mind!
[What an excellent cache! I'm glad I brought the] train timetable [though! Made it easy! Another devious and enjoyable cache from OB and we enjoyed the coffee from Mrs OB too! Thanks SL]
Fun cache to do although not quite what I was expecting, which made it all the better. Timed it just perfect and was rewarded with a cool drink and fine company after signing the log.

Another crafty cache - I'm starting to grow fond of these!
Found the cache easily enough, but was not what I had imagined! Some 'red herrings' threw me in the wrong direction, but with the help of Dad's mechanical mind, I quickly had it sussed. Very cool indeed!

Cheers,

Took a while to find the "device" due to lots of muggles but once we found it, it was as we had expected so only took a few moments to extract the cache. Once again a very clever cache by OB - well done! Found on a perfect Autumn afternoon. TFTC!
Eureka, I have first to found it! Looks like those boring science lessons many many years ago have finally paid off.
Cache and how to get into it was pretty much as I visualised it and I came well prepared so no problem at all.
Definitely a bit different. Signed log, thanks.
