This one needs some work, it's full of water and everything in it is soaked, despite the ziplock bags
Worked this one out over time and visited final spot today. Cache is very wet! Tftc!
Finally found it after a few weeks worth of research and groundwork. Had a chance to pick it up early this afternoon. Contents still very wet. Log is quite damp, but can still be signed.
Cache needs attention as everything inside is wet or damp. The logbook is also a little damp even though it is inside two plastic bags.
It has been over quite a while that I have been collecting data, and specially not being allowed to drive at the moment, makes it take a little longer to get from one place to another. Finally today I managed to find the cache. Thank you for the little tour.
I started this one a long time ago.
WP1 took many visits before I managed to get the information I needed to find WP2.
A week later a wet visit to another cemetery I new of but had never visited gave me the co-ords to the next WP.
A month latter had me at WP3 at this point I had some trouble with a couple of the numbers on the instructions but after a trip around the stones realised they must be typos.
I went straight to WP4 and quickly found the information.
This afternoon I finally got to the final location and visited Mum.
The cache is very wet, log book not to bad.
Thanks for taking me around these lovely parks although its a little sad.

Cache items wet with water sitting inside. Log damp, but managed to write on it.
On an afternoon out doing a couple of multi caches, we decided to put this one on our list. It was an interesting historical journey and a little sad too. Cache was located fairly quickly. TFTC
Completed over the past 3 days, had a bit of trouble at GZ, but found it in the end. Signed the log book, but didnt take anything. Great multi! lots of fun.
Did this one over a few weeks. Took a few information blind visits to WP1 before finishing the last waypoints in the same day. Two parks we never knew existed with such history. TFTC

Loved looking at the headstones but didn't attempt the cache. We spent some time at WP1.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Well the first time we went looking for this it rained and drove us off the first wp1. Well that happened again yesterday when tried again. But this time we would be detered. We found wp1 & wp2 anne this morning we completed wp 3, 4 and the final cache. What a good location for the cache and what a great series.

Realised we were close to the final coordinates for this cache and couldn't resist. Left G'Norman G'Nome GC for a visit.
Mum figured this one out and she found the cache, guess I was just along for the ride on this one!
We really enjoyed completing this cache over two visits to Hobart. The information on some of the headstones was fascinating and the Hobart City Council is to be commended for its conservation work, keeping historic headstones close to he areas where they were initially erected. Thanks for adding to one knowledge of the history of Hobart and thanks for the cache.
I went round all the waypoints (and had great fun!) months ago, but hadn't been able to make progress at GZ.
This time, on my third or fourth visit, the GPSr wasn't playing nice at all.
I'd just about given up, when I actually saw it from a distance!
While I was signing the log, I looked at the GPSr - 1.5m - finally it tells me the truth!
Thanks for a great expedition!

Found by Mary & David at 1015. Took us 1h 50min to finish one of the best caches we've done this trip. Finding the required answers took longest at WP1, where they were scattered over a larger area. These are favourite areas for Mary, who loves history, graveyard architecture and Victorian symbolism. All places visited were fascinating though. Our thanks again to pjamesk.
Finished this one at 1625hrs as the first of two today, 366th find overall. I felt very happy to get this one as a little success after a failure on the Claremont golf course always picks one up!!! Thank for the success that geocaching can give one. TFTC and cheers OldSaint.
So, here we are on a trip to Tassie all the way from the mainland, ACT...
Well, at least it was exciting for me, seeing as I hadn't ever been to Tassie...
SOOOO many caches, so little time!
This was the third cache of 27 finds (and 4 DNFs) for our 5 days here,
Thanks for the cache, pjamesk!
Took: nothing
Left: nothing
but appreciated all of the waypoints and the searches for information along the way. I always love the cemetery caches for some reason - and this one was certainly right up there! We weighted up the options of finding this one vs busting a bunch of traditionals off the list, all things considered when it came to time and numbers, and decided that we would pursue this one, just out of interest.
The first bit of gathering was the hardest, and it was good that we had three of us on the lookout to find all the info. The overall cache had us searching around the various locations for just under 2 hours, finishing it off at about 5:50pm.

Our third find on a recent trip to Tassie with Fore! & allrounder to run the Cadbury Half-marathon. Enjoyable multi taking in some really interesting locations and use of headstones by the locals. Enjoyable short car trips around town as we sought out each waypoint and then followed the mini-hunt for details at each stop. As someone who enjoys the history and stories of these areas I found this cache both entertaining and educational. Hard GZ find in the end due to location but worth the hunt. T: keyring L: pathtag, tattoos and bug TFTC Fun
Found @ 5:48pm with Fore! and Shadow! (#850 for me!)
We enjoyed visiting all the cemetries while starting this one on the way to find "Hobart City - Scratchie exchange". Took us about 1:45 all up.
Shadow! took the thong keyring and left Bertie Beetle tats, a bug and a pathtag. TFTC!!!

Having helped Bkj97 to find many of his caches since May 2009 I thought it was time that Bcj97 (previous name) should evolve and register my finds to date as Little Blue Hen. Having lost a little sister this was indeed a sd part of the place,TFTC
Wow what a multi thanks to my friends V8 mercedes we struggled around Hobart from park/cemetery to park/cemetery. Started this yesterday at St David's and ran out of time. Wine food and good company and a new day and off I went again with little bother. Nice multi well worth the effort and some really great reading experiences. A must for anyone with wheels in Hobart. Left Geostaff coin which was deserving of such a momentous multi. Well done ! Estimated at least 2 hours worth of cemetery browsing which to me is value for money. Sense of satisfaction at end of these is worth loads of drivebys. TFTCSL
Finally finished this one today!! After wandering around the first waypoint for an hour during the Taste of Tasmania in January I still didn't have all the anwers. I returned on Friday morning and found another one I needed, but there was one clue I couldn't find. In the end I decided I could use a bit of trial and error and try and find the next location - and it worked!
Slowly I collected up the remaining clues over the last couple of days until I finally had the location for GZ. I headed that way this morning and found the well stocked container after a short search. Amy was able to relay some of her family history to me too which made the whole caching thing "a little less nerdy" .
Many thanks for an interesting and well put together multi.

This cache find has been three days in the making
I visited the first waypoint on a stroll around the city and took the opportunity to find the answers and location of waypoint two
I must admit after spending over an hour in the park, I didn't really expect to see the end of this chase. It seemed a grave undertaking
But the next day I couldn't help meself, I had to check out the next location. This cache became habit forming
Today I found myself passing waypoint 3.
Waypoint 4 wasn't too far away and I suddenly had the final cache coordinates
So this afternoon on a stroll around the Queen's Domain I stretched the legs a bit further and wandered over to find the prize
The locations are superb. Somehow parks full of unmarked graves make wonderful locations for a walk, playgrounds or even concerts [:o]
At least the final location left no doubt as to it's origins and purpose

We are logging "TFN's TFTC Geocoin" through this cache to show our appreciation for a memorable cache.
Is it just me, or is all the playground equipment in these parks surrounded by grave stones a bit freaky? I enjoyed the history of this cache, and the challenge of locating the information. Ironically - given that I walk through WP1 an awful lot - that took me the longest time to locate all the important bits! I guess, like many things in life, you don't always appreciate the finer details. Thanks for a unique multi! Left a whale (the cache is a large bucket!) and took badge. TFTC
Enjoyed trekking (well...driving) all over Hobart for this multi before heading off to work. Glad i did it during the day as i imagine it would take on a whole new level of spooky at night ^_^ TFTC, T Skeleton bookmark, L several Monkeys.
Enjoyed the trip around all the old grave yard sites. Very interesting. Took the TB and GC as they had been there a while. TFTC
from Slovakia all the way to Tasmania - anyone traveling east i.e. Hawaii, Chile, NZ? please take this TB along.
found without a GPS unit - only used the web (www.google.com) and www.maps.google.com - not a very uplifting cache though - placed Travel Bug TB270F2 last seen in Slovakia (sorry geodreke that it took so long). TB wants to go around the world preferably going east...
I began this one on foot and finished the final location with my work colleague by car a day later.
Beecaj and I cached Hobart long ago in mid 06 so it was nice to go out again.
Anyway I loved the locations and the well set out parks. The final location had us in the rain in our best work clothes fossicking about until Rebecca came up with the prize.
thanks to pjamesk for such an historical and interesting multi.

This was a pleasant meander around places we had visited before and one that was completely new. Some of the characters involved caused us some angst at times, but we overcame in the end! T stickers, L frog pencil. Thanks!
Ordex made an assumption about where this one would be but we couldn't find it without the coords, so went through the whole thing from scratch with Loki.
Last stretch was a rough and tumble with the group to see who could reach the cache first, but the GPS triumphed again and I chalked this one up LOL
Great multi pjamesk, and now forgiven for my slippery, wet and painful trip across the rocks at Buckley's Chance

We returned here today to drop of the "Lost Cacher" TB. Once he was lost but now he's found.
We thoroughly enjoyed this cache. It took us several hours (with a few standard caches in between) to complete this. TFTC pjamesk.

We did not quite enjoy this cache.. Too closed to (comfort) Dead End. TNLNSL. Thanks.
I must tell you about this tourist's most amazing day in Hobart. To begin with I must tell you that I am a Catholic priest. I had the time to do some geocaching and decided to give this cache a try. I was on foot, staying at a hotel on Elizabeth Street and headed out for my search. Needless to say, by the third cache I had had my exercise. But I blew my coordinates to the final cache. The coordinates I had took me elsewhere. At first I thought I was headed to St. Mary's Cathedral. But then I ended up on the grounds of a large home above the Cathedral with a beautiful statue of the Virgin in the courtyard. A man came out and I explained what I was doing, and I asked him what this place was. It turned out to be the Rectory of the Cathedral. The man was a visiting priest and he insisted that I come in an meet the pastor for a "cup of tea". I ended up spending a most delightful evening with him and his guests. What a treat. The next morning I checked my notes and found my mistake. But the cache was way too far for me to get to on foot. So, I toured Tasmania and on my return used my rental car to get me to the last cache.
Thanks for a great cache. Thanks too for a most wonderful day in Hobart. Most especially, thanks for the new friends who have come in to my life. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in America. You can see that I have much to be grateful for.
Fr. Bob Bussen
ps. I picked up the geocoin and brought it back to America. I'll register it, and plant it in a local geocache here in our town. I have no doubt that a visiting skier will pick it up and move it on its way.
One of the best and hardest caches I’ve ever done before I’m not going to give anything away which might give clues to other cachers I’ve been working on this for ages it took me about four weeks to complete
Thanks for the great cache Pjamesk

Enjoyed working through each WP on such a nice day. Cemeteries are not normally were I hang out (figured I would more than catch up some day!) but the way they were part of well kept parks made them seem less spooky. Cache was easy to find and for the second time today a big thanks pyamesk! Took juggling balls and Left handmade stickers
Couldn't resist the temptation to calculate co-ords from research with some very interesting sites found.Calc. co-ords were spot on.I definitely will visit the WPT sites in due course...albeit in reverse order as I find these old cemeteries extremely interesting and which take you to otherwise unseen places.Well constructed multi.TNLNSL TFTEC Cheers pjamesk.

Was on a flying visit to Hobart and only had time for one cache so picked this one and loved it. We enjoyed reading all the old gravestones and thought about what short lives people had to look forward to. Managed to find the cache with 15 minutes to spare before the hire car had to go back. Thanks for an informative and picturesque cache. Saw bits of Hobart we never would have seen otherwise.
left Fiona the travel bug and took another TB for a trip to Victoria.
Thanks, C

This ones taken me a good while to find. Struggled with the first cemetary finding some info, then struggled with the last burial/first burial letters. I'm pretty sure I found death dates earlier and later than the correct digits would give - but not sure if that means the person was actually buried there. At one point I was at coords that put me within 50m of 'Affluence of Incohol' - you know you've got it wrong when you head up there!
Got there in the end though, muggle workers on either side of GZ meant I had to save my search for another time, but I got it today. Phew, I need a rest!
Many thanks pjamesk, well divised multi.

I've been rather lazy, Ifound this a week ago and did't log it. oh well better late than never.
The last clue caused me a few dramas, I couldn't figure out if the figures were 0 o O, on my palm pilot, so I figured out both, wouldn't you know it, the first ones were wrong.
got there in the end though, took us the whole morning, and retired after lunch.
even though only the one for the day, it was good enough to quench our thirst for caching for the day.
T Lip Gloss L figurine (can't remember which, and I forgot to write it down)

Well I have to start by saying I'm not usually a fan of gravestone caches, however as these are all in public parks it took the shudder out of the experience.
I did enjoy this multi, took me to some areas I haven't been for a while and to a couple of places I've never been.
Took food diary left pocket skeleton as it seemed appropriate.
Thanks Pjamesk.

Loved this one! Had started this a couple of weeks ago, and did it over a few different sessions including WP4 this morning on my way to work, and then finding the cache tonight (yes, toNIGHT and I wasn't a bit scared) on my way home from work. WP1 was the most tricky for me (so many plaques) but the other WPs were all plain sailing. It certainly gave me an appreciation of how tough (and how short) life was only 150 years ago or so. So many people died before they were at all old. I couldn't believe the fellow that died from being hit by a whale!
Very interesting, thank you pjamesk.
Took suncatcher geocoin and the froggy TB,Arrow, Left Food and Exercise Diary!

Finally had a chance to finish this one! My female slave did the first waypoint during a lunch hour just after this was published. So yes, it took us long enough to get around to completing it! But I certainly enjoyed it. Only down side was that I had to protect my female slave from an inhabitant at the final waypoint before GZ. I wouldn't recommend going to that one in the evening as people (or spirits - or people ON spirits) often lurk. But full marks for a well-done multi.
Did all the waypoints working around RomanSwamps squad swimming. Starting to worry about the number of letters....
Got to GZ after Haunting and paying a visit to my sister, found easily.
Surprised that Powerco workers hadn't found it, but then, they are looking for it, are they?

Paulus couldn't resist the challenge of trying to work out the coords at GZ without doing any waypoint work. But after fruitless searching, Sog thought she had better do the leg work of what proved to be an epic multi. She couldn't find all the info though, so some guess work was needed to get to the next WP. Sog was surprised to learn that no info was required from the last cemetery since there's alot of interesting headstones there. The cache was recovered after 5 min searching. The hint seems to apply only to waypoints rather than helping at GZ. Incidently Paulus' coords weren't just close, they were spot on. He just suffers from cache blindness.
And the FTFaholic meetings are going well, thank you.
