We too found the clue at the headlined coordinates lying face down on the ground. It was a bit of a struggle to read it as well. We re-hid the clue back in the logical spot. It was an easy walk to GZ to uncover the cache. TFTC!
In the area with a few minutes to spare. This has been on the radar so I rode a collapsible bike out to get it.
At WP 1 I searched for a while and then realised that what I needed had been muggled as it was upside down on the ground. I have placed it back where I thought it would be safe however I feel it will be lost pretty easily.
Off I headed to GZ where I soon had the log signed.
Thanks for the chase and the interesting cache notes Alansee. Sorry for the bad news.

Out with the dog for a walk to collect some caches that I hadn't found yet on a foggy morning ... This was my 2nd attempted at this one failing to find the co-ords last time due to it being a busy day at the park. Found quickly this time and headed off for a find (while the dog was rolling in wombat poo!) TFTC
#6105 We were enjoying this area and the walk that went with it. After having found 3 caches of a series we decided to continue onto this one before heading back to the truck. It was a lovely family walk and the weather absolutely brilliant for taking in some fresh air whilst enjoying the great outdoors. It seemed that everyone else had the same idea although the crowds had thinned out by the time we reached the first WP. We were very impressed by the way the co-ords for GZ where hidden - very nicely executed! We had guessed where we might be heading to next and our guess was in the right direction. The cache was found well hidden and in good condition. An enjoyable multi thank you Alansee, a great contribution to our enjoyable caching adventure. Cheers [^]
Since the weather was actually sunny today, we thought we'd get out and about and make the most of it. We met up with Happy pants and headed off to do some bike riding. This was the first one we tackled, and after a bit of searching at wp1 the Moose had the coords in hand. A short ride to GZ and we had the hide in hand. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here, a beautiful spot for a walk.
We set off this afternoon to tackle a few caches that we had left previously to pick up when we had the bikes with us and this one was a great one to start off with in the park today. With plenty of muggles about making the most of the sunshine we had to time our find of the well concealed wp and then set off and made the find after a short search. Thanks Alansee for the cache.
I had the coordinates for a solved puzzle in the area to fill a D/T square today. The weather was great today for winter so I headed over to the Eltham area and did a few more caches in the area since I haven't really cached around here before.
After heading back towards home I still had about 30 minutes or light so I parked in the car park and headed in to do a few caches along this trail.
After a walk around part of the river I headed back towards the car park but couldn't resist stopping here to at least start this multi.
With no one around a short search had the really well camouflaged coordinates in hand and like the description says a short walk away will be the GZ. So I made my way to GZ for a nice easy find and a great little multi to finish my day and head home for dinner.
Thanks Alansee for the cache, the hunt and the fun. A favourite for me.

MasterIschi and Arthur and Dent went on another, this time shorter, cache run. We collected 15 caches. The baluke series is almost finished and I have to say: We had a great time out here.
Thank you baluke for all the effort placing and maintaining the caches. And TFTC to all the other cache owners.

We were lucky at WP1 that Arthur & Dent had the coords in front of his nose in a second Nice one!

On a morning ride to get 5 caches, this was the only one I got to sign, with sone misreading and a 20minute DNF on another cache . Great hide at WP1 , I think I am getting used to COs MO. (Which is to explore everything you see) TFTC
I loved WP1! And I was lucky in that there were no muggles in sight for several minutes so it was easy to find and replace the clue. Entered the coordinates in my GPS just before the battery started to run out. I managed to get a course set for GZ but had to rely on my questionable geoskills to make the find. Plenty of mountain bikers out today. I am amazed that they were so focused on the trail that they didn't notice me standing in the bush 3m away . TFTC
Came for a walk and cache finding session with lobster 6 7 and Bonnie. There were a few mountain biking muggles around but lobster and I were not troubled by them.
Very clever way of hiding the coordinates [^] and a great hide. Left some toys (including Shrek) took cute little koala

Setting off the car park I was soon at WP1, and loved the hiding method for the numbers. A very ingenious hide indeed!
With coordinates in hand, I set off to have a hunt at GZ and was pleased to be able to complete this multi. This turned out to be a lovely walk to an area I had previously never visited.
Thanks to Alansee for the cache.

On the way home from having lunch with a friend in Heidelberg, I intended looking for the nearby newie and just collect the co-ords for this cache on the way past to do another time.
I parked in the carpark off Fitzsimmons Lane and strolled along the track in today's beautiful sunshine to the posted coordinates. I sort of accidentally found the co-ords for the cache when I knocked something to the ground during my exuberant search. I put the hide back a bit better and then entered the co-ords in my GPSr. I noticed that GZ wasn't very far away, unlike the WPs of the other nearby multi, so I decided to go and find the cache.
I did a small bush bash to GZ, while trying avoid the heaps of roo poo. It was a bit disconcerting being watched by lots of roos (about 6 to while I searched GZ - they seemed to be laughing a lot! [8)] I soon noticed the obvious hiding spot, retrieved the well-hidden cache and signed the log at 4:05 pm. I took a butterfly charm and left a kanga keyring to be with its mates. I then headed up the hill to find the new (early Jan) cache.
Thanks Alansee for the fun multi in a glorious location. I especially liked the great hide at the posted co-ords.

Found this evening on a short ride around these trails. We had collected the wp details a previous visit and decided to head out to find it tonight. Had some good skill practise on the bike on our way to the cache. Tftc.
Out for a ride along the Yarra and Mullum Mullum paths today hunting caches in team Yarra's baseball series plus pick up some others as I went past. Given the route needed for the baseball series I didn't get to this one until the return journey. Got to the published coords and started hunting the required information which didn't take too long. Then off to GZ where the cache was found after a bit of bush bashing to get there. Thanks to alansee for this one, nice hide at the published coords!
Liked the hide of the initial coordinates! Nice day to complete some Westerfolds caches. TFTC!
Was originally going for another cache in the area, but changed to get this multi. Enjoyed the stroll. Thanks Alansee
At last I've got it.
I could find WP1 no problems but could not locate new co-ords,
Spoke to Alansee at last cache event at Ruffey Park for a hint [look low] it's there,
Returned to WP1 to look again How easy was this, How did I miss it before the mind boggles.
SL left TB.
Thanks Alansee

At last, I have found it! This one has been bugging since I started caching a year ago...I just could not find WP1. A chance meeting with Alansee at a recent event gave me the opportunity to get a little extra hint and so today it was time to go and put the extra information to good use.
I walked up to the location of WP1 and this time almost immediately saw something that warranted further investigation. Yes, it was what I was after...the coordinates for GZ. It was amazing how easy it was in the end...on my previous visits I think I had been "looking" without "seeing"!
With the coordinates in hand, it was a short wander over to GZ. The cache was in good shape but you do need to watch out for muggles on mountain bikes as they sneak up on you.
Thanks Alansee for the cache and the extra help. The way you have hidden the coordinates at WP1 is really quite clever.

On a 22km cache maintenance run for the Team Yarra cache series , we thought we should log a couple on the way and this was the first . We were introducing a Japanese student to the joys of geo caching .TFTC and the multi
What am I doing wrong with this cache???? Several visits and I still can't work out WP1. How depressing [xx(].
This was the third of eleven caches I found while out with QueenK8 this afternoon. I had a great time geocaching in this park with friends. TFTC, Alansee
This was the third of eleven caches I found while out with WildBaconLord and another family this afternoon. It was a glorious winter's afternoon, just perfect weather for a walk. The friends who were with us had done some geocaching while traveling in Europe some years ago, and were delighted to be able to bring their kids along today. Thanks for the cache, Alansee! Loved the location of the coordinates
Quiet1_au and I had been cycling through this park last weekend, but decided not to go for the cache as it was up a hill - and that's just nasty on a bike! Since we'd left lots of caches unfound last week, we returned today and walked to GZ. Easy find. TFTC
Had great fun with this one, the coords to GZ are very well disguised! TFTC, was a lovely walk.
Down visiting for a family event and decided to head out and grab some caches nearby. It was a lovely day for a walk around the park. We arrived at WP1 and began the search. It took longer than it should have, a clever hide. Sometimes you just scratch your head why didn't I get that first go. Anyway a nice stroll up to GZ and it wasn't long before the cache was discovered. As we headed to GZ we felt like we were walking in the bush not the middle of a city. We enjoyed this multi immensely. Thanks for sharing this lovely location with us Alansee.
In the area with Dunko on a on a planned caching run.
Bikes deployed where needed, Walking when appropriate, drive by where possible.
A big night of caching enjoyment was had by both of us, and a vote of thanks to the cache owners
for the effort and placement of the caches. TNLN SL TFTC.

Found while out on the Yarra Trail ride. Good to see that this one has been here for nearly 6 years. This is our last one for the day, so will give it a favourite.
Took out the geokids to find a couple of geocaches. Unfortunately we could not find WP1.
#1436 Dusted the bikes off (hadn't been used for many years!) and headed off to do a few more in the Baseball series and picked this one up along the way. This was the 4th of 10 finds for the arvo (plus 1 DNF). Discovered a sleeping possum in a nook at the top of the noticeboard at/near WP1. No probs at WP1 (clever hide!!) or GZ. Thanks Alansee.
I've been meaning to stop and pick up some of the caches in this area, today was the day. Tftc
Great day for a long overdue walk so thought I may as well collect a few caches along the way. This was a very clever wee multi with a tricky WP indeed......managed to track it down though and promptly headed off on the wrong track! A bit of cross country activity spotting a few kangaroos on the way and I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for showing me this area.

In the area for a new cache so wandered over to have a go at this one. A nice walk up from the car park and quickly found the info at WP1. A bit more of a walk dodging the many mountain bike riders and with a bit of a circle around gz,, soon spotted the obvious hiding spot.
Thanks Alansee for the cache. This is a lovely place for a Sunday afternoon walk.

Decided to pick up a few caches whilst in the area - thoroughly enjoyed this one for many reasons. WP1 nicely done. GZ was an EZI find thou in a muggle rich bicycle circuit - We took our time to explore the reserve and were soon greeted by a large display of Roo's making their way further down hill.
Many thx to the CO for the neat multi

I'd hoped for a longer trip today, aiming at the final Simpsons cache for my 1500th, but a couple of emergency jobs meant a change of plans. Plan B: an afternoon's collection of new caches in the northeastern suburbs.
After calculating GZ on the nearby multi and realizing it's too far away for today, I strolled up to this waypoint, where the very cleverly hidden clue (spotted immediately, for a change) sent me toward an area I've visited before and intend to come and play in one day soon on the mountain bike.
As always, deadly accurate coordinates made for a fast grab, leaving me enough time to attempt at least another hide before I have to go home. Thanks for another excellent cache, Alansee.

How sneaky can you get? Great multi, easy to read co-ords now, lots of fun. Dropped off a TB. Thanks Alansee
Many thanks to Sushi Wushi for the heads up on this one.
Indeed the cache was in a bad way and thanks to S-W I had come prepared and have replaced everything.
Indeed the cache was in a bad way and thanks to S-W I had come prepared and have replaced everything.
Finally returned to have another go at this one - now with 5 weeks of GeoCaching experience under the belt. This time the GPSr led me precisely to WP1. For some reason on my previous attempt the GPSr was consistently pointing 9metres away from WP1 to the NE. Hah? Found WP1 easily (ingenious) and using the new set of coordinates I proceeded to WP2/GZ to locate the cache. Had to dodge man with big tractor mowing the grass throughout the area several times.
Unfortunately on arriving in the area of WP2/GZ I found the contents of the cache before I found the cache - it's been muggled! It appears as though the lid has been off for some time as the contents were just a big congealed soup of filthy slop. There was no log book - so couldn't sign. A few of the contents were scattered around the general area of the GZ and the lid was lying nearby - everything was out in the open.

This cache has been muggled and the contents left exposed - all I found was a congealed mess of stinky slop! It needs serious clean/maintainence, new logbook and all the contents tossed away and replaced. Perhaps a smaller cache would be more in order.
Went looking for this one after finding a few others in the area. Just couldn't find Waypoint1 but I'll be back again for this one!
Finally got to check this one out and have fixed the coordinate writing which has been causing a few problems. Should be plain sailing now whenever they are found.
Found @1535 #1593
Actually started this one earlier in the day but after a 20min search realised that I must of miss read the numbers so continue on to find other caches in the area. On my way back to the car (now 2 hrs later) I decided to re-inspect the numbers at WP1 and this time giving it a closer inspection notice one of the numbers for the south was wrong! So heading off in hope that this was now correct I soon came upon GZ for a quick find, yay!! I think I may need glasses... A really fun short multi with a cool hide for WP1 and a nice size cache at the end. TFTC Alansee, TNLN.

Decided the geodog and I should head our and enjoy the beautiful but overcast morning. Avoiding muggles while finding WPT1 but not too difficult of find since I have a little experience under the belt. We then head off and had to avoid many cycling muggles for GZ!

Got to the posted co-ords but had to wait for some muggles to go away. Eventually found the necessary information which was housing a nasty looking spider. The co-ords were hard to read, but readable none the less. A short walk to gz and a quick find. Signed log, TNLN. TFTC..
Had a snippet of time between finishing work and picking up the children so thought I would come this way and have a look at some caches. Well, cache. But it was a good one except the WP 1 is getting pretty hard to read. Tried one reading but it didn't look good so tried another which looked more promising then found the cache. Took a trackable.
Around 11.00 on 4/2/2012. I was wary of the '3' level of hide difficulty and was pleased when it all came together. A clever hide. There was a surprising amount of foot and BMX muggle activity all over the area. I find it quite difficult to look inconspicuous in these conditions (I have even thought of wandering onto the edge of the bush and calling out 'Puss, Puss, Puss - come here you bad cat'. Trouble is people might stop and help you try to find it!) Left a key ring/tab.
After an early morning start to grab a night cache I decided to make use of the cool morning conditions to get a few more in the area. This one being a short multi was much preferred by me to the Mullum Mullum End nearby GZ coordinates found without any trouble, slightly tricky to read them but with a little scrutinizing I headed off to GZ. Cache found easily, and log made only to find - to my horror - a muggle ride past behind me, followed by his mate! I was sure I was safe off-track but I quickly discovered them place is a maze of mountain bike tracks looping around so be super careful!! No harm done, they were preoccupied with their ride and I saw them further afield still riding the tracks so they obviously ignored my earlier presence. Dropped off a geocoin - TFTC
Great spot for a few caches. Straight forward multi. Some of the numbers are getting hard to read, but you can still make em out. Thanks.
(Sorry about the late log). Found Wp1 but my brother went of and found the cache and i don't know if he signed it for me. Nice cache though and i enjoyed the search for the coords.
I really love these multi's. A well thought out cache with a good finish. Short walk from WP1 and cache was in hands. Took ball and left stickers. Tftc.
Nice, well laid cache which has survived the years well. That said, the sign at Wp1 I'm sure only has a limited shelf life! Was tough making out Lot of the numbers. Tnln tftc!
What a miserable night for caching. It had been raining all day and I was sitting at my desk looking at the rain fearing the night ahead. There was nothing else of the cards for the night except sitting at home doing paperwork so I decided to bite the bullet and get wet. I travelled north and cleared out a few caches through to Eltham North and then returned to pick up jsmyong55 in Hawthorn. I wanted to travel south to the Frankston area to pick up a few solved puzzles there, so we headed south and made some good finds. This was once cache picked up during the night. I got the MTB out of the car in the rain for this one. At WP1 I found it in teh first place I looked but wondered is that an 8? I now read the hints logging this and see "Yep it was". After picking the wrong track I soon corrected my error and powered up the hill to a nice easy find. Thanks Alansee for the cache.
Found with Kmace. took a thourough search to find the coodinate clue. very impressed with the camoflage. Found the cache easily when arrivived at the right spot. It began to rain and the wildlife was not interested in amusing us. Kmace began coughing, and looked a bit worn out.We withdrew from the windy area and cached in box hill.
Found with Irontoad on a cold winter's day caching. The weather was turning against us and as we were about to give up on finding the clue at WP1 when it was found. Glad that there were no muggles around to see the extensive search - we failed the stealth test here. Great camouflage and then the cache was found easily. Took bionica water balloon and skateboarding keyring and left sorry I have had a mental blank but it is in the log. Unfortunately I did start coughing but no first aid or sympathy was offered by Irontoad and with the weather packing in we decided to move to caches further afield.
Thanks a lot Alansee for a challenging but doable cache.

Nn luck finding the coordinates at WP1... either its a real tough one or i'm having an off day!
10.59am
Whilst at westerfolds park decided to venture further along the bike path towards diamond creek area.
It took me some time to find the co ords at wp1 but eventually it twigged there it is. Then ventured up the track and towards gz. Found it without any trouble. Fantastic spot amongst the candlebark? Trees.
Thanks to alansee for the cache. Tnln.

Lovely walk in a park close to home. The dog enjoye the stroll. Nice that dogs on the lead are allowed on the trail now. TFTC
I really enjoyed this one; the little extra challenge of finding the final coordinates on the way was fun (and easier than I thought it would be; heck, I don't mind a bit of a rummage!) and the cache itself was in a very nice bit of bushland I'll be returning to with the GeoBeast and any crazy friends who don't mind dicing with wheeled muggles travelling at high speed! I took the Gardens of the World TB and left behind Hayley's Pony, because I thought this was a lovely spot for her to begin the next leg of her travels! TFTC!
Great day to grab this one. A great hide at WP1. I did some maintaince work to WP1 with a brick as it need a bit of help. all good now. I left a mini dice and a croc shoe pin. took a key ring.
Also dropped of a TB.

After dropping MMelb off at Youth Group we continued on to this cache with the weather looking a bit doubtful.....
We gathered info for the other nearby multi then came to this one and after quite a protracted search we found the cleverly hidden co-ords at WP1 and soon found the large cache at about 8.10pm and TNLNSL
TFTC Alansee, this is a lovely spot and we enjoyed looking at the river near the carpark and we also saw a Kangaroo as we were approaching WP1
Will upload photos soon

Added an extra strong magnet to this one - goodness knows why the others don't hold properly - they should!
My thanks to the previous finder for maintaining the integrity of the cache and letting me know.

Although it seems quiet at first glance, you have to keep an eye out for cyclists! Hid the first clue a bit better, but still in plain view, so it wouldn't be removed.
03/10/2010 10:24 Found: #56 As I was there very late at night, and alone it was somewhat creepy. Luckily I had a torch and was able to shine it about when I heard cracking sounds nearby. Seems that a large kangaroo was nearby checking me out. I wasn't to happy about him being there especially as I assumed he could see me better than I could see him. He disappeared into the trees. A very tricky hide at WP1 but a few minutes later I had the clue. Of course the roo had headed off, thriough the trees in the same direction as myself. Saw one or two other smaller ones, but was alone, thankfully at GZ. Dropped in TB2JRK6.

Out caching on Grand Final Day with 80Degrees.
Arrived at WP1 and started looking for a hint. Found it easily after feeling all over the sign. No problems finding the cache when we arrived at GZ.

Found at 11.45am on our day out and about with Toy Car. Took a short walk from the carpark. Toy Car found the necessary info then we all took the short walk to the cache location. TNLN TFTC
3 attempts of this one. First DNF clue. Second found clue, wondering where log book was. Third attempt got it. It really was one of those days.
I really liked the way the coords were hidden at WP1, had me looking for quite a while on various levels.
Nice big box with a lot of swap.
Thanks for this multi

Nice easy 1st find for the day, HillMum even made the trek. Left nothing, took nothing. TFTC !
A pleasant up hill stroll, I think the mountain bike rider must really have wondered what we were doing, he passed us a number of times whilst we toured around this park! Thanks Alansee
Find 5/10 with LouiseAnn, found the clue on the ground, restored it to it's home (for now) and easily found the big cache.
My excursions to this park have been limited to the main Yarra Trail; so today, spurred on by the presence of a couple of caches, I decided it was time to venture off the beaten track and explore this park a bit more. And very glad I am too - there certainly is a lot more to this park than meets the eye eg found a small swampy lake with a colony of Dusky Moorhens about 400 m to the SE of this cache. It really is worth exploring these parks. Thanks Alansee for providing the incentive.

Had to have another try at this one. Eventually found the clue at WP1 thanks to a similar (spare) part above. Very nice hide. Removed travel bug to be moved to a new location.
Could find the clue at WP1 - a little busy so hard to look around without raising anyone noticing. Will have to try again on this one and get some patience pills for the wife... ) Quite excited to go back, very curious as to the hide at WP1. Thanks...
Found it at 12.30 pm. What a ripper!!! WP1 set the challenge. My wife found it. It was a beautiful day to be out in the park too. Twenty seven degrees in the middle of April! Dropped in Travel Bug Difficulty 2 as the level of difficulty of this cache complied with the bugs parameters. TFTC.
After making my way to WP1 and checking the area for muggles the numbers were revieled after a short search.
Nice placement.
GZ and a very nice cache was found not long after.
Lovely day for a walk.
Cheers Alansee and happy caching.

Located cache @ 1240.This was my 6th attempt to find the Co /ords for the final hiding place. I wasn't going to let this one beat me and my persistence paid off. Thanks Alansee for a very clever WP.
This was number 4 of 19 on my Epic Cache Run Adventure.
Got to WP1 and did a quick muggle check. No one in sight so it was into search mode. I like to make stuff similar to this so the numbers were found in a matter of seconds.
After the numbers were forth-coming, it was off to GZ to sign the log.
Great work on WP1.
TFTC. Happy trails...

WP1 Took a while but some caching experience meant that Geowife found it after the Geofamily had been hunting for about 10 min!!
good hide!
Thanks

A second attempt at this cache for me.
I made my way up here after meeting two teams out caching nearby. Their clues plus the new hint made for an easy but still very enjoyable find of WP1 on this hot day. I don't know where my head was at last time but I do remember touching the co-ordinates without actually finding them. [B)] Oh well, you can't find 'em all first time (or is it just me? )
The walk to GZ was hot but interesting as someone in the next paddock was letting off toy rockets. The ones that go about 200m in the air, then parachute back down to earth. Fun to watch.
GZ was easy to find and shady on this hot day. The well stocked cache was a pleasure to open.
TNLN.
Cheers Alansee, a lovely devious WP that obviously a lot of effort went into.

This one hasn't been found for so long that I thought that I had better check it. I am pleased to say that all is well.
I have added an extra hint.

Thanks for the great cache, the first waypoint was very clever! Good cache find with lots of goodies. Took travel bug and Men at Work CD and left hair pin (a bit of a cheeky and unfair exchange I know!).
Great idea, but found clue on floor ???
Put it back in its spot.
Thanks for the cache left travel bug.

This is my second time at this one. I must have been recovering from something on the first time round as I got it all wrong. I was looking for the cache at the first point instead of the clue. Found it easy this time on the way back from visiting Bette. Very clever little clue hide. Just love this area to walk in and so close to home. Thanks for bringing me here.
