24 Nov 2024 4:06pm. The weather was Light Rain 24C 58% 5 m/s . Find #9,067 for me. Found with PamJ during our stay in Millicent. We Victorians were barred from attending the Mega during the Covid period, so this is a catchup visit to Millicent and the surrounding area. Well placed lovely old cache. Definitely worthy of a fav point. Thanks littlejohnny for your contribution to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
It was fun reading the history of this station and finding the cache with gmj3191. A fav from me.
We debated whether the building here was a dunny or lockup. Either way, it's an interesting place for a cache, and it's fun reading the muggle entries in the log, too. Thanks, littlejohnny, it may be Coonawarra's last stop but not ours as we tour this lovely area.
We are on a road trip to WA and thought we would pick up a few caches along the way to Murray Bridge today. The placement of this cache was a little bit unexpected and I had to find a spot to sign the log.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA. This is our kind of caching - back country roads. Windy arvo and hardy any traffic. Great spot and photo op for the geo-schnauzers. Thanks for the hideLNCU
Travelling with richlink as part of our Caravan Geocaching Trip. It's moving day today, a big move... Narracoorte to Penol. Touring the area or using geocaching as our guide. Thanks for the hide.
14:34Heading east on our way homeward, after the fun of the Mega, we made a number of those "stretch the legs" stops, naturally close to geocaches where possible! Not quite our last stop - maybe that is tomorrow.Satellites today had our GZ 12m ENE of where we found the cache. Thanks to littlejohnny for adding caches to the geo-gameboard 36637
Found by accident on a visit to the railway. Excited to find a cache in Australia.
A quick detour to grab this old cache. I love that more muggles sign this than geocachers. Grabbed the TB to continue it's adventure. Tftc FP added
On a two and a half week family holiday road trip to SA from Victoria.2023 was a very tough year for the plowfive team, with Mrs Plowfive experiencing some very serious health issues starting in late April. The rest of the year was spent in and of hospital (mostly in) getting treatment and finishing with an autologous stem cell transplant requiring 3 months isolation post the procedure. We are wishing for a much better 2024 and a very long remission for Mrs plowfive. So with treatment completed and Mrs plowfive feeling just well enough to travel we packed the car and headed on a road trip to some of our favourite places including Adelaide and the Limestone coast to make some great family memories. We had a great time and even managed to do a few geocaches.Nice to check out Coonawarra and this was a nice little stop, the last stop. Thanks for the cache littlejohnny
TFTC! 1 January 2024 5:36:58pm 7028Happy new Year! Love the Coonawarra and Cabernet! Last time we were here, we didnt cache, so an excuse to come and enjoy the sidings again!
SL at 4:55pm. Day trip out to Mt. Gambier with bdiaw, MuggleMasterKid9 (MMK9) and the GeoTwins. Got a few errands done during the day and then we headed out this way to spend the rest of the day caching. Such amazing history here. It is definitely going to be a very long wait for the train!*TFTC littlejohnny and keeping this old cache in play!
Found (by accident) on the 26/10/23 with Brother- two days before his lovely wedding at Brands Liara. Great spot, we were there as part of a beautiful day with local tour group Coonawarra Experiences with Simon and Kerry- highly recommend!!
off on a jaunt to the south east and enjoying its beautiful scenery and experiencestoday the weather is sunny and much warmer, so we decided to head back to Coonawarra and maybe finish the day at the Penola Show (im a sucker for fireworks)we enjoyed our tasting experience at wynns, maxed out the plastic, so this is definitely our last winery stop tftc littlejohnnyand bringing me to this specific spot , great to have a big cache and easy find after those tastings
Nearing the last stop for me as well. Always wondered what's behind those doors? TFTC GeoVenture2020.
What an historic little siding - still waiting for a train. Great hide and FP given.
Waited and waited and nothing was coming. But fortunately there was a cache instead.

First find on a 6 week journey after a lovely day walking through the wineries. TFTC.
TFTC. A windy day and we were expecting visitors sometime in the afternoon. After doing a couple of chores we headed out in the direction of Naracoorte to do a spot of caching. A successful couple of hours finding 3 multis, and earthcache and 13 trads. A good little haul and relaxing after a couple of busy days.
What a great little spot. A clever hide that had me going for a bit.

Quick find as I meander the long way to the beach to meet the family for some camping adventures. Thanks for the cache nicely executed. Fav added!
Well that’s a ballysy hide! Got muggled just after I had finished - don’t think they were cachers, but they took lots of posed photos. Thank you, littlejohnny; cache #4187.
I used to live on this road and as a kid we would drove sheep to the yards so the train could carry them off. Love this one TFTC
My first one! Woohoo!
Was here for a leisurely bike ride on the trail trail to Penola & back!

Great spot of history amongst lots of new industry, and first in the new log, nice.
Apologies to recent visitors - removed the cache for some maintenance, and did not get to return it prior to going walkabout for a few weeks.
Cache is returned.

Suggest this cache is archived as where the GZ is, there is open grassy ground and no where for the cache to be.
Coords had us in no man's land, so checked both structures, high and low, inside and out. Also looked at Davidwazza's coords, which put it behind the platform, but nothing there either.
Wow. So it took 20 minutes to find this! There was a bus load of tourists all taking g their pictures and I had to wait my turn........ CIH in a logical spot so enjoyed being able to get to it without took much difficulty! TYFTC SLTNLN
Exploring around the Coonawarra area today, guided by the caches laid out around us .
This was a really cool place to stop and look around .
TNLNSL.
Thanks again Littlejohnny. This is why we geocache . . . [^].

After wandering around in circles I eventually braved looking a little bit deeper. A wonderful cache and the highlight of my day. TFTC
Very unexpected find. Just went to look at the location and found it. TNLNSL TFTC
Stumbled upon this on a wine tour with fellow geocacher Tiffstar99. We were very excited
This is amazing. We just stumbled upon it but having that padlock is a wonderfull trick.
Be careful of the magpie here, it almost hit me in the head.
Cache was a bit of a laugh
Today I started out at cockatoo lake after camping there for the evening before making my way to Mt gambier today cleaning up as many caches as I could along the way. A solid day with the weather in mint condition which is unusual for the south east. 85 finds for the day and 5 labs.
Thanks for the cache
