I thought it would be well enough hidden but its seems to be a bit muggle prone. I'll archive this and either see if I can come up with a better idea, or give someone else access to the spot.
I'm having a look at this to see how I can improve the hide. Please bear with me.
I ducked out at lunchtime with new cache all ready to go. Alas my ability to loiter is no match for that of the modern teenager!
I'll make another attempt to replace the cache soon.

An easy cache to decode, I was intending to use GZ as a drop location for a TB. Should've checked the cache size first!
TFTC, I enjoyed exploring GZ with the geohounds.

#157: I had solved the puzzle a while ago, but did have the chance to visit the area. It took a while to find the container under the hot sun. Due to the heat we decided to abort our caching trip at 10:30am, just an hour in.
I was with one of the workers of that establishment that produces such lovely numbers, so this cache was a given.
A really nice spot for a cache. Fortunately the muggle count was unusually low today.
Thanks, Robmc.

After a short stop for dinner Gwen and i decided we would continue caching and try for "just one more". This one proved to be a very nice find and encouraged us to continue until dark.

After having some dinner, Magpyre and I were in a bit of a better mood for caching. After fighting the GPS, finally found it. A nice park in the evening.
Thanks,
Gwen

Solved the GZ location after a few attempts. Used the iGCT iPhone application to convert DMS into decimal so that Google maps application could show location. Confirmed we were in the right place with previous log comments. Used Geopher Lite application to navigate at GZ, however iPhone was unable to get accurate fix (possibly due to tree cover). The hint didnt help us.
Consoled ourselves by looking at the view, playing on the structures and having a go on the flying fox in the nearby playground.
We will be back.

Well, this was a nice puzzle. It was fun to solve. Third of today's holiday caching run around Canberra while fitting in some shopping.........
Solved this back in NZ. Grabbed it on our exit from an enjoyable couple of days caching in Canberra - we really enjoyed it here. A nice spot to enjoy before we left. Thanks for the great hospitality! Cheers Gav [3176]
Found with the kiwi team on our great Australian caching tour. Good puzzle and a nice spot for the cache.

Found with Wilga - she solved this one a fair while ago, and as we were in the area today, we collected the cache.

This was the first mystery cache I solved, just never found the time to visit GZ.

The puzzle had been solved last year, already, but I did not find the time to ride to the cache. Today, I decided, it was time for another cache raid in Canberra's suburbs - and this was the first on the list. Very nice spot and cunningly hidden. I had to consult the clue before I finally located it.

Found on a lovely afternoon with surprisingly very few muggles around this most picturesque area. GZ in a lovely spot, a couple of muggles there, but around the corner, so was able to locate the very well hidden booty unseen. Thanks very much for the puzzle and the hunt, Bewilderbeest.
Worked this one out the other night and was passing through with Ju this afternoon so we stopped in to grab it.
The satellites were a bit dodgy though but good enough to get us to GZ and we soon had the cache in hand but left the pen in the Geomobile.
Ju ran back and grabbed the pen then stood watch over the two muggles that had made an appearance just in case they turned around. They didn't and the log was signed and replaced.

2nd of the day after visiting medicare in belconnen I went to this cache gz. I worked it out a while ago just couldnt make it there. So anyway at gz i found there was many muggles about. Had to wait for them to go then found the cache easily TFTC
Another team effort with Brixster, who solved the puzzle. A brilliantly hidden cache, and an amazingly muggleless place to be, in a warm Spring early evening. This is apparently a good spot to catch (and release!) yabbies. TFTC
Thought I must have solved this one wrong as the gps tried to direct us into the lake, turned out it was just the gps being grumpy.

I also worked for a large related organisation so getting the numbers was a breeze. Once at GZ Feathertop made the find in fading light. Thanks Bewilderbeast.
I work for the establishment that produces such lovely numbers so it was most appropriate that this cache be gathered today. Offline on my last visit but in the fading light today we made our way to the wonderful location and found the cache soon after.
Thanks Bewilderbeest.
Thanks Bewilderbeest.
Distinct advantage on this one as CSDad had one of the publications in his office. TFTC
Good to see caches come back on-line after muggle trouble.
AusCan and I had looked earlier this year but to no avail. Then a call came in that it was back, but only today could I get to out to.
I enjoy hides where stealth is required, and even today, this was the case.

295 - After locating the correct final GZ for this one a while ago but coming up empty handed I was really glad to see this one come back on line last night.
So early this morning, on the way to work, I walked among amongst the cleanup crews and with the mist rising off the lake I returned to GZ and there was a brand new container and a blank log ! Kicked started my April numbers early...
Thanks for keeping this one going - a lovely area which I bring my kids to pretty often - these days with a smile on the inside....

Sorry about the delay, cache replaced with a slightly smaller container. Remember BYO pen please.
Too many muggles on this 35 degree day. Didn't have the printout either, so had no idea what a hint would be.
Nice straightforward puzzle and a hide in a very pleasant spot. Few people around this morning, and the whole place had a 'washed clean' look after last night's rain. The ducks looked happy too. TFTC!
Had solved the co-ords quite some time ago (as I found out after trying to update GSAK again this morning after a quick google)
I was heading Northside to watch a couple of the sides in my cricket club playing & thought I'd grab a couple of caches on the journey.
A great little park - shame about all the litter left by someone in the carpark after some McDonalds last night.
Quick find.

Nice puzzle and a great little spot for a cache. A couple of bird watching muggles about, but a quick in and out and I was off. Thanks for the cache.
Had the right coordinates but my GPS wasn't giving me a lot of help (kept taking me to the middle of an open area) so I eventually caved and called Hailtothethief for help with this one. Great hide (once I finally found it). My 6th of 10 caches this afternoon.
On our way home from 'Count de Multi Crypto' and Tegan had worked out the answer for this one last week, so we ducked past to pick it up. We've been very close to here with other caches, but didn't realise this section was here. Lovely spot! Pity about the nearby vandalism. Thanks for the cache.

I studied stats at univesrsity and applied for a cadet position here. Not sure whether I got anywherer with it or if I pulled out (got a great offer from Questacon instead). Anyway, I love numbers too. Nice final location.
Despite the earlier log entry, went looking on a sunny
Sunday afternoon . . . yes, I can see why this is
not such a good idea!
Another case of going to the right spot almost straight
away - and indeed, spotting what turned out to be the
telltale clue - but dismissing it as just a part of nature.
Found soon after by fellow geocachers on the trail.

#564 A busy place today in the sunshine. We disturbed another cacher, the telltale oversized phone on a lanyard is a good giveaway. We were looking for something a lot smaller so we were surprised when we found how large the cache was. Great place and a enjoyable place th spend a great day out.
Still heaps of cars, but not a soul in sight today, allowing a leisurely examination of the possible locations. Thanks.

I had given this a half-hearted go a while back, but didn't have either the cache print-out nor my GPSr. But this time I had both and found it quite quickly.˜
Possibly would have given up on finding this one except for a couple of eagle-eyed cachers who came along at the same time and spotted it. I lent them my pen so hopefully my geo-karma is ok! Thanks guys.
Found with Hayleylou!,
Had to give this one a fair search before Hayleylou stumbled across it. Great hide in a public place, very neat.
Spotted another geocacher on this hunt too!(thanks for the pen!), thats three meetings in four caches, must be the season!.

As hailtothethief has said, this was our 4th attempt at this cache! Was wondering if we ever would get it. Great hide and lovely location - though it was a bit cold windy today to hang around too long!!
Cool hide. This one has been a long while coming. This was our fourth trip!
1: Ran out of time looking, had to be somewhere
2: Waited 30min for a couple sitting on top of the cache to leave, but they didn't!
3: Damn, bridge is out
4: Success!

What a shame I missed hailtothethief. I think I put the wrong date in my log, so he may have not realised I was probably there just before (approx 3.30pm). I certainly spent a long time looking for this one. I think it would be very difficult to locate without using the clue. I was just about to give up when it jumped out at me. TFTC.

Our thirtieth of thirty-three finds on our first day in Canberra.
We had solved this puzzle in the planning stages of our trip so we were keen to pay it a visit. Somehow, we overlooked the bridge issue but thankfully it was finished and operational when we arrived.... Phew!
Terrific hide too - glad to be able to grab it in the dark. Thanks to Bewilderbeest for the cache.

Bridge is out...presumably going to be replaced you need to access this by water now.
Yes, land access to the GZ is temporarily out while the bridge is replaced. It's still accessible by water - I wouldn't recommend going in by air, unless you're Mr Incredible or something.
I'll post another note when the bridgework is complete.

If my figures are correct then the GZ is not accessable due to being blocked by a construction site.

Two DNF's in the same area, not sure whats happening perhaps the influence of too many muggles around me... need to move to new location and do a sanity check
Found @ 2:50pm. Not too difficult clues and nice hide. Should have parked closer but only realised proximity of cache after arriving at GZ. Had to "sneak" a bit to avoid young lovers nearby. They were in no hurry. TNLN Thanks.
Nice little excursion out to the Nth side, Easy enough find in amoungst the trees, I wondered what the black thing in the trees was, Im sorry I checked as there's a crow 'hanging' in a nearby tree, there's some really sick puppies out there. Its worse than the cow nearby two towers.

Ah, the joy of this one!
Having done my research in the convenient location of home, allrounder,Huxley the geohound and I decided at the 11th hour to swing by this cache after we had done "Attack the Establishment".
Arriving at the GZ, there was a suspicious looking character, GPS in hand (oh, I'm such a sleuth - I figured him for a cacher) loitering around the area... looking in a variety of spots that my GPS was not taking me. I handed Huxley's keys over to allrounder, who being a slightly bigger unit than I, provided a decent line-of-sight screen from the wandering cacher. He seemed quite exasperated with the fact that we were hanging around the area (apparently camping on the seats nearby, whilst I had in actuality snaffled the log and meandered away to be inconspicuous) and decided to leave.
Ergo I returned the log and clicked my heels three times, gleeful at kidnapping it right from under his nose. I would have introduced myself, but he was just too far away On the way back, Huxley made friends with a red and white border collie. Oh, what fun!

Quick find at lunch time with McPhan, lots of bikers/kayakers around, but not visible from GZ.
Silly me, you would think after 950 caches, I wouldn’t make silly mistakes.
Determined the cache coords, then proceeded to ride my bike to the initial posted coordinates and wondered why I couldn’t get close to the coords and hence to locate the cache. And those cameras must have been tracking my every move too.
So, I open up my backpack, hoping I wrote down the final coordinates, Yay, I did (its good to have a paper back up, not for the electronics, but for the brain!), then it was an easy and pleasant ride off to a nice little location and voila, I had the cache in hand in no time.
Then it was back on the bike to complete 6 caches, an 87km “ride to work†and still arrive at work for a meeting at 9.30am, Coooeeeee.

Did this one after the nearby Vets track & field meet. Lucky I had my headlamp - I think doing this at night made it easier for me to focus as I soon had it in hand.
I think this is the third time I have found one of these containers - thankfully it wasn't as difficult as the first time!
Nice little spot this although I think I "sprung" a few couples in the carpark!
