Oh no, I didn't see that the Cache is unavailable. And it is difficult for me to come again because I am from Germany. But it was a very nice place. Thanks

Hmmmmm, just couldn't seem to come up with the cache today, GPS kept sending Claeton (driver for the day)and I to the same tree. Dug around, looked in the rocks, just wasn't our day for caching, 3 DNF's, but you get that!

02-May-08

05-Apr-08
Combed the area, couldn't come up with the goods!

28-Jan-08
Stamped around in the undergrowth until I started freaking out the muggles in the nearby house and took my leave. This had me stumped, but I'll be back!

26-Jan-08
Sneaky hide - found after a bit of a search. TNLN. Thanks astroboy & astrogirl

13-Jan-08
09:46 Big spider living on the cache made me take a bit of evasive action. The water was running over the trolley at GZ. Nice spot.

28-Nov-07
Found 4.15pm nice running creek on creek.

#9 of 12 finds on my first day in Brisbane; second last trip for the year. I found this one at 1810. I followed the instructions in the cache description, and they took me directly to the cache. Coords were spot on. [^] GZ was a peaceful, relaxing area, and I really enjoyed it. How's the serenity! Big Grin Too bad some moron has thrown a supermarket trolley into the creek, and it's gone rusty! Twisted[:(!] I made no exchange. Thanks to astroboy & astrogirl for the cache. Cheers, dak.

28-Oct-07
Found whilst taking the kids to see the new cache that I had put out nearby. TFTC. Nice little creek area.

22-Oct-07
Found with Tratty. Easy find and the mossies flew us back to the car. TFTC

22-Oct-07
A lovely little water hole on the creek, a shame about the shopping trolley in it, had no troubles finding the cache the GPSr took us straight there, our last one for the day it's getting dark now, Thanks Astro's

18-Oct-07
Just had a quick stop by the local mall on the way home from work, so thought I'd give this another go - had no luck first time. This time the 'trusty' (HA!) GPS sent me to a slightly different area of the park ... and there it was!! Thanx for this AB&AG. TNLNSL. TFTC.

14-Oct-07
An easy find to start the day.
In: Glitter, bouncy ball, chalk, pencil topper
Out: elephant magnet, glider, bouncy ball, golf ball

30-Sep-07
Found it ... eventually. First visit found muggles from nearby nursing home sitting in the shade right where I thought I had to go into the bushes. Went away and came back later. Spent ages looking at the bases of about 50 trees (you can tell I'm new!), then I saw it at last. I was determined to find it as I knew there was a TB in there wanting to go to NZ & I was to meet Moneydork later in the day. Found & took the Berlin TB left a Croc pencil sharpener. TFTC.

09-Sep-07
Found after a period of rain - plenty of water in the creek and lots of mozzies in the trees. Geokids spend a few minutes throwing rocks into the creek. Left TB.
TFTC

23-Aug-07
What a great spot. I've lived around here for years and didn't realise there was a creek here.

18-Aug-07
Found this one in the dark after a little bit of a search - it would have been much easier in the light! TFTC.

16-Aug-07
Easy find. There is no pen in this GC so bring your own.

16-Aug-07
Will visit this weekend and drop off a writing stick.

29-Jul-07
aaaargh!,thought this was gonna be easy!,we were on wrong side of creek!,once corrected found quickly, thanks astro's

24-Jul-07
Approached it from east and had to backtrack to avoid a nasty creek Xing. Fine from west but goblins in the dewy bushy trees had my GPS discoing trying to locate GZ. Scrub turkey kicked up dirt near me-was he pointing to GZ I mulled? Scrambled over large rocks looking into cavities - no luck. Then recalled the hint .. near tree or something. Scratched away tree litter and behold the ammo tin! Read Hints next time!
In - powerful magic elephant.Out - stencil stamp.
Good camo from mugglers and lovely cool babbling brook that almost drowned out the swish of slugs of passing cars.
Removed spray paint can (CITO)
Great cache!

The gang always like seeing the old Ammo Box as a cache as these days there are far too many micros around for the Mini Inks liking. Surprised After all that though they decided on no swaps today.

Found without problems. TNLN. Thanks Astroboy and Astrogirl for the cache.

09-Jun-07
Although the creek was flowing today, the only swimmer was a shopping trolley. I did enjoy the sound of the waterfall. TFTC. ='.'=

09-Jun-07
Ahh, what a pretty little spot. We've had enough rain to enable the creek to flow. I lingered a while just to watch the water cascade over the rocks. Thanks Astros.

09-Jun-07
Easy find - and there was water flowing in the creek! TFTC

20-May-07
In for a quick swim but no flow in the creek today. Nice hidden spot. TFTC Big Grin

Found shortly before midnight, maybe.

We were on our way to Camp Hill Park for another few caches when this one popped up on cebidae's tomtom (I've got the gadget envy Wink as being near by. A quick u-turn later and we pull up and read the cache description. "Lets see... It says we should park... oh, right here."

There was water in the creek for us tonight which seems like it might be a bit of a novelty. Not much wild life at night but some might cool rocks. This is a handy little hide. Thanks astros.

Went to check my phone to log the time of our visit and... it's mizzen. Sad Duh-da-DUH!! So begins our self inflicted inpromptue mystery cache...

28-Apr-07
Find 6 of 10 attempts for the night. This was a nice big cache to be hidden in such an urban area. Cool. I TNLNSL, but it is good to know where some drive-by big caches are for future reference. This is also where we realised mloe's phone was lost and started the (ultimately successful) phone geohunt for the night (see GCXV7K). TFTC.

*Overall Experience: 3*

14-Apr-07
Enjoyed the hunt. Need some more rain. Thanks.

24-Mar-07
Parked where I was told, but had to wait for a break in the traffic so I could dash into the tree cover. Found the cache easily and sat on the rocks to fill in the log. After reading previous logs, it was disappointing to find a stagnant pool with a rusty shopping trolley sticking out of it. This would be a beautiful little spot after a bit of rain. I must try to return if it ever rains again. My compliments on a very nice hiding place, Astros. Took Pikachu TB and left some marbles.

13-Mar-07
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 12:42pm. Saw a huge water-dragon jump into the water near GZ. Cache seems to be safe and well. In: stamp Out: yellow tape TFTC

11-Mar-07
Find 13 of 33 caches today

Found on my second attempt here. The first time I didn't have the paperwork with me and assumed it was amongst the rocks....never assume!!! My geowife enjoyed scaring me with loot inside the find today by popping a popper to celebrate her find!!

took popper left travel bug

Nice little spot. Shame about the shopping trolley.
Left Plane.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys.

Our seventeenth of twenty-two finds for the day.

We really enjoyed this cache today. It was very nice to sit in this nice cool space and log our find to the sound of running water - too bad about the two shopping trolleys in the creek though!

We swapped some play dough for a tube of super glue.

thanks to astroboy & astrogirl for the cache.

09-Mar-07
Nice easy find after we waited for the walker muggle to move on. Suprising little area. We left a ball and took a bottle stopper.

Thanks for the cache!

04-Mar-07

Lovely peaceful spot. Pity about the trolleys Sad
Nice easy find. Cache dry and in good condition.

Thanks

27-Feb-07
Thanks to the instructions, I also approached a creek from the right side! At last! Big Grin
The hardest part was disappearing and reappearing from the bushes on a busy road in daylight.Cool
A great hide.
Oh, by the way, has anyone bothered to search for the drowned corpse of the wayward shopper with the trolley? TNLN SL

25-Feb-07
For once I arrived on the correct side of the creek, thanks to following Creek Smile
A soothingly quiet and cool spot in here. I spent a few minutes taking in the ambience as I filled in the logbook Smile
Yes it's true, shopping trolleys do not float [:o]
TFTC and another little hidden gem in Suburban Brisbane Big Grin

OK, lets get this right. <- is west and east is ->. When I was directly East of GZ and 'headed in' as directed I ran into a creek Wink My poor little feet had to walk the couple of hundred meters around to find it.

Top spot for hiding the cache! It was lovely to sit right beside it and watch the water flowing into the pool... OK, I ignored the shopping trolley in the pool - but the sound was good! Smile TFTC I TNLN.

The piggies did this one on the way home from school

We took a travel bug for a spin.

NUMBER 801 - I had been expecting a cache to come up in this park for the last week. The other night when AB and I were on our way home from a night time cache raid, I made a comment about "that park would be a good spot for a cache". AB said that he had one lined up to put in there already. Anyway, what a great spot for the cache you picked and how good is it seeing the creek flow. TNLNSL . Cheers The Nanks.

20-Feb-07
I love the sound of water running over rocks. This spot is just perfect.

Thanks Ab&Ag, I have driven past here many times without stopping.

2nd to find after HHs.

Left Betty Boop TB to listen to the water and the sound of the bikes on the road nearby.

19-Feb-07
Didn't think I'd have much chance at a FTF on this one. After a busy week managed a quick stop off at a beautiful park and a peaceful running creek. TFTC.
