With Ronin Pirate. After finding a nearby puzzle cache, we decided to head to this one. We parked as close as we could and wandered down the hill. Then the phone told us that we had to go bush, so off we went. Once at GZ, the phone was jumping around all over the place so we decided to start checking the usual type hiding spots. It only took a couple of minutes before I spotted the cache out in the open near an obvious hiding spot. We signed the log and hid the cache where I think it belongs
Took a stroll here to find the cache while waiting for an appointment in Stamford that was delayed. TFTC
Roaming around the area today, I drove to what seemed the nearest point, only to find a tradie had beaten me to the spot for a smoko. Even worse, I stepped out to find I had parked next to a kangaroo carcass: eww. How a kangaroo could get run over right here, I can't explain...
Anyway, I walked down and over and was pleased to spot a likely container without too much trouble. I was wary of snakes but none appeared.
The plastic bag has split but the log doesn't appear to be in great danger.
On the way out, I paused to survey the plain: wow, that's a very nice series of horse studs etc. TFTC where all is fine.

After dropping off my daughter at a Scout Camp nearby, I ventured in here with us3scouts and seirra1. Wasn't long and the cache was spotted and our names added to the logbook. Thanks findalot for the hunt
In the area with seirra1 and Parko's today and decided to head this way. Found GZ and was having a look around when I spotted the likely camo. Yep, that's it! We signed the logbook and returned it to its hide. Thanks for the cache findalot.
Happy to be doing this one at this time of year , doubt that you would get me in amid the vines in summer

First find with Geo Nan & Geo Pa. "Exciting" & "peaceful" for them. New waterproof bag needed inside container. TFTC
I think we took the long way in and had to negotiate a small water crossing on the way. Slipped on the mud getting to GZ and after a bit of a hunt geohubby made the find, nice cache.
The first time George daughter and I turned up to do this one we decided we were running a bit short on time so when today presented the opportunity to cross his one off the list we jumped at it. We wandered down the path to GZ and found a good place to enter among the vines. We seemed to have taken the long way in and the short way out. GPS had us worried for a moment joking around but once it settled geo daughter found the cache. Great camouflage. TFTC
This cache is within a beautiful spot. Very different to the surrounding areas . Found after a short hunt . Glad I wore jeans
muggle friend and i went out for the day
she had camera
i had GPS
i went in for the 'kill' alone due to long grass
took pics to share of my prize

Out for a day of caching with Buzzgirls and managed to make a quick find on this one. Tftc
Out for day geocaching with seffnjarah. Had a great day finding all these wonderful caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for making our day great.
An easy find on a group outing organised by Ruzzelz this morning
Sorry for the short log as I'm somewhat incapacitated but, as always, appreciate the CO's efforts

Was getting into the ride today with Ruzzelz, IolantheK, Ms Maddy, Culture50 + Sue, & T-Tech until not long before this cache.
Culture50 had shot ahead and just as I entered the creek to cross with a little speed, I heard the instruction stay right called back. Well I took the creek dead centre, which easily landed my feet in the water as I peddled through. Made it out the other side with just a wet shoe and sock.
Anyway kept on moving down to this one, and finally found the way in after riding straight past it, and got in just as Culture50 made the find.

A nice little stroll down the fireroad and then in amongst the vines. A nice quick find - I like the cache container, although I think the termites might have gotten into it Cache container is in excellent condition - I like the drawing someone has left there

Parked as close as possible and walked down to GZ . Enjoyed the walk there & back . Quick find for Matt while I was still searching elsewhere . All is good with the cache . Found with Matt_Eth . TFTH findalot .
after the rain this was a very boggy site
liked the cache container, a lot of work

Had a look with 4 adults this time and no kids... Still couldn't find it. Perhaps maintenance required to see if it still exists. The tree cover doesn't help the precise location using iPhone so maybe move to a more open area which is about 10m away.
Perhaps IolantheK really hid it too well?????

Well it was only me looking. My two little girls where just complaining we were walking in circles!
So I gave up looking after 10mins.
So I gave up looking after 10mins.
I took the easy way in then had a short bush bash through to GZ. The vines have really taken over here. My iPhone struggled under the trees, so I gave up on it and had a poke around. Still no luck so had another go on the iPhone and this time it took me straight to GZ The cache was an easy find as the camo is no longer attached. I added a bit more nature to conceal it a little better. TFTC, findalot.
Found this one with brownsnakemob and geoson on a sunny day for our big day out in Samford.
Tripped over a few of those vines along the way, but had a good time looking for the cache. Thanks for bringing us here findalot.

What a perfect day for some caching. In fact it was really starting to heat up by the time I made it to this cache. Luckily the shade from the vines cooled me down a bit. My GPS seemed to having fun sending me all over the shop here so I gave up on it and just started a sweep of the area. Coming up with nothing after a while I resorted to a PAF which didn't help. Hmmm, so I walked to a spot and just started scanning the area. If I was a cache where would I hide [?] I don't know how I ended up at the spot I was standing at? It just seemed like a good spot to stand. The funny thing was that I looked at something right in front of me and thought, hmm that looks a bit odd, scratch head, OH! light bulb, Ding!!! Hey it's the cache Literally it was just reach out and grab it. Good thing, that caching ESP.

=) I remember reading about this cache once before when i was in the area but never got around to having a look, today was different and we parked up for the nice walk into GZ , I read that this was something of a different cache and agreed with this when we found it, great container that seems to blend well in the surrounds, great spot for a cache Thanks findalot =)
11 of 25 finds today on a geomish with ayepeacee. First find after lunch and we were full of lollies and confidence. The first thing we found was an echidna who was trying very hard to pretend he had not seen us and that he was invisible. Once we moved away from him, zita spotted this nicely constructed container. She moved away and then let the boys find it in their own slow time. Ha! Kidding. TNLNSL TFTC!!
Wandered in to find this cache. Lots of vines here. Interesting cache and hide. TNLNSL TFTC Thanks findalot
Found on a beautiful dry winter day. What a cache made me laugh at how clever it was. Well done, I was a bit scared by this one as the title and area looked difficult but luckily the GPSr did well and guided us fairly close to GZ.

Aha! Went back to the first place we started looking. Very purdy! Tftc! Added a drawing
When walking along wet ground there is a point where one goes from 'must find the slightly higher ground or tufts of grass to avoid getting wet' to underestimating one soggy patch and 'bugger, maybe they'll only get a little wet' to ending up ankle deep and thinking 'ah well, they're wet now.. whatever'. I got this big time grabbing this one this afternoon. I parked up the hill and as I was heading down was met by Fangsoki, JasenJanine and Agap who all proudly told me my dry shoes were going to be shortlived. I could easily see their tracks through the grass and after about 10m my shoes were underwater and I ceased caring about having to finish the afternoons caching is saturated shoes. I zigged and zagged a bit, trying to doge the biggest puddles and soon happened across the cache hide. A clever hide too. As I signed the log I had to try and keep the hoards of mozzies off. Then it was following my footprints in the mud back to the path. When I popped out two horseriders gave me funny looks as I tried to empty the bulk of water from my shoes. I'm sure this area dried out when it hasn't been raining all week, but a good adventure, and thanks for the pruny feet when I got home later that night TFTC findalot
I think this was my first cache by findalot?
Arrived near GZ and decided this one should be called "Amid the waterlillies"!!
Jasonnjanine, myself and Fangsoki sploshed in towards the cache when one of them asked.... "why are we doing this?"..... oh yeah, that would be because of me... the only one in this little group who hadn't found it before!!
Fortunatly the cache was quickly located... log was surprisingly dry considering the surrounds.
So we sploshed on back out of there.
Thanks to my fellow sploshers, and to findalot for the clever cache!!

Gunnie69, Ghostgums & I arrived to attempt this cache today but decided that with current wet conditions it wasn't to be
Leaving for another day
Leaving for another day
Well, after the recent rain, what was amid the vines was also amid a truck load of water and inaccessible for Ghostgums, Kaisho53 and I today. Another time I guess...
Well whaddaya know? Frewster did get back to this one today - with his gumboots this time Tell me, 'where would you be without your gumboots?"
I was glad I had them too because it was just as dank and boggy underfoot today as it was last week when I came out - only more stagnant this visit
Anyhoo, the GPS had me right on target and it was a nice quick find on the way to do the school run this afternoon. I thought when I found the outer container and opened it to be greeted with manky mouldiness, 'oh, this is going to be good!'. Fortunately however, the inner container had kept the log nice and dry so it all worked out sweet in the end
Signed log and returned everything as found. A clever hidey!
I highly recommend anyone planning on visiting in the next couple of weeks takes their Wellingtons with them
Thanks findalot!

Came here today to attempt this one but the area was a quagmire and I didn't fancy being ankle deep in stinky stagnant bog. Looked for a dry way in but no joy.
I think I'll either wait it out until it dries a bit or come back with my gummies if I start feeling really keen
Perhaps I'm just a wuss

This is a great cache, certainly my first favorite since starting a couple of weeks ago. very cool container. iPhone had me in 3 different spots and it all looked "where do I start looking" then I noticed it
Now that there's a new cache and i have a new GPSr I thought I'd go have another look for this one.
Once the GPSr settled down it got me within 2m of the cache.
Love the new container, it's awesome.
A fav point for the container.

Introduced a new cacher to the game today. This was a great one to getem keen. Great hide
Walked in from Petersen Road and managed to cross the creek without getting wet. So many vines and not enough time to search them all. Then I noticed something I had walked around at least 10 times. Very well hidden. However, the cache could use some serious maintenance. The lid has rusted so it won’t close. Ants and termites have invaded the hidey hole. Unfortunately the only container I had with me wouldn’t fit so I couldn’t replace it.

Managed to grab this before a nearby mtbo event. The ants have moved in. It could use a new container with a lid that closes. Log ok TFTC
Bugger, bugger, bugger. Just as I found GZ the batteries went flat in the GPS, so not sure how much of a variable I had in GZ co-ords.
O well, will have to cycle over the hill again another day.

I stumbled upon this one after about 10 mins searching around. Really love the work gone into this, however more work is now needed. The container is no longer waterproof as the lid is rusty and doesn't fit on anymore, but the log is still signable. Great cache …. TNLN. Thanks findalot
We enjoyed the stroll to the location and then we could not locate the cache. I rang for help but the phone was not answered. A renewed search and the cche revealed itself. TFTC. Well disguise.
Interesting place, different is true. Bit of a car graveyard from what I saw too. Spent a bit of time looking around but gave up before the rain came.
Some TLC needs to be carried out here. The cache container is very sad, the lid is not sealing properly, and is inhabited by some locals.
Found this one with Stairman1 and Geodog. Stopped and talked to the neighbour who was working in the yard on the way to the cache. We located the cache after a short bushbash. Signed the log. Headed back to the car and the neighbour was still working so we spoke some more to him. While talking to him geodog found something well and truly dead [xx(] and decided to have a good roll in it. Just after having him hydrobathed earlier that morning[:(!]. Dogs will be dogs. TFTC
Late post. GeoE led us to this one. Cache a bit soggy and overrun by ants. Nice hide. TFTC
This was cache # 17 of 20 for the day, on a day caching around the hills. A nice place to visit despite the rain that was coming down. My thanks to findalot for the cache.
Found with Net88, took a while to find, had me absolutely stumped, but Net88 cut this cache to size. TFTC
Difficult find since the gps decided not to work but found eventually. Found with uncle_Andy tftc
Finally found it after a long hunt!...accuracy problems with the GPS forced us to use our instincts.
One Cache on a 15 kilometre biketour! TFTC and Greetings from Germany!
Really hard to drive up and down there

570 - We stumbled across this cache at 2:18pm. Stumbled I say as we were looking for something else entirely, and were surprised when we saw something that looked out of place - not what we were expecting. A great cache which is still in good condition. TFTC findalot.
What an awesome hide! Found with a junior member of the Kadanga Krew as the sun was setting and the rain was starting. Thanks!
GPS was acting up, but we got there in the end. While we paused to reset the GPS G rested his foot right on the cache and knocked it over!
Excellent hiding spot, we took a weaved friendship bracelet and left a hippo. Also, anybody else creeped out by all the abandoned cars?

An easy find in a lovely area. There is a new log in this one it had just made its way to the bottom of the cache container. Clever hide and log and container now in good order. TFTC
Literally stumbled over it as I was about to give up! Very clever!
Looks like some water has entered the container and the log book was damp and unusable.

Originally parked in the wrong spot and couldn't find it. Then reparked, pulled out mountain buggy stroller and went searching. Had to abandon stroller for last part and youngest lost his shoe in the mud. All part of the fun though. Excellent hide. Thanks.
What a very very clever hide!! GPSr was a bit bouncy but after reading previous logs and the hint, Loki managed to lay her hands on this one. And a good laugh was had by all . TFTC findalot
Edit: added a new log book

A great hide in a lovely area. Ingenuitive hide. As previously stated - logbook is full and about as delicate as the Magna Carta (ie it's falling apart). Still managed to sign log. TFTC!
Coordinates seemed OK, as no trouble finding this one, in a very clever hide indeed.
Managed to sign the log, but maybe over the top of some previous entry.
I did have a new log book with me, but it was much too large to fit in the container, and I didn't have a chainsaw to trim the log with. First cache for the day at 0955.
