Logs
Night caching with Ramadonis. Logbook really wet so may need to be replaced. TFTC
A quick find, the last on a morning walk to get to know the area. Managed successfully (although with some difficulty) to write in the wet logbook. TFTC!
Our last for the night just before it got dark. We found a very wet log book and the cache container serperately. They are now back together again but needs a day or more to dry out the logbook. We tried to sign it but it was probably more like etching as we all know pen doesnt like to write on wet paper TFTC
Quick find but as others have said there was no log and I had nothing on me to write on and I chose not to write on the script that is in the cache. TFTC #1096
A pity the racecourse is now defunct but it still made for a pleasant evening walk beside the lagoon. TNLN Thanks.
There is no better way to see all the areas around town than this, another spot I knew nothing about but really enjoyed the walk.
Thanks

Nice quick find to start the day, walked back through the racecourse as it was dryer.TFTC
Quick find, went after rain so ground was boggy and got wet feet lol. No pencil. Took troll coin.

Team Hayjagen found this cache at 12:00n on 08/09/09.
The leader of the pack walked right by this one, but he was height-challenged.
Found quickly because it wasn't covered well.
It is now.
T: Travel Bug (UN3W4A),
L: Drawing pinwheel, Pokemon card, lots of cache

Wasn't even able to write my name in the book as it is sodden but I did leave fresh silca gel.
This was our first geocache that we attempted. Pleasant walk and nice and easy. Some water has got into the container though and we were unable to leave our details on the log book.
Inserted our Calling card - as cache is truely soaked.
Nice little spot - many thanks

Managed to drive almost right to the cache. (I was quite surprised to find that you can drive right into Flemington racecourse, where the Melbourne Cup is run, at almost any time.) I found an obvious hide only to find someone's Cigarrette and lighter stash there! Looked further, and there was the cache too! hmmmm..... The log was VERY damp Thanks Moneydork.
Just dropping our travelling geocoin in for miles, forgot to do this when we logged the find.
we were down this way for xmass thought we would knock off a couple of caches

Easy find. Cache extremly dry - especially after all the heavy rain & storms of recent weeks. Just about drove right to the cache. A bit boggy under-foot in the cache-area though

Decided to park outside - in fear of getting locked in!!
Cache was an easy find. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1191)

The gate was open so drove on through and found ourslves in a carpark a few metres from the cache. Bit muddy getting to the cache from the car but was rewarded with a quick find. Thanks
I am a little too accomplished at being the lost out of towner. I drove all the way to the cache, but never got challenged. Civil disobedience does have its place in caching Once at GZ, an invisible force placed my hand on the cache. If they were all that easy, there would be no fun - but happy to take this one. Thanks for the cache.
It was a nice stroll, especially as there weren't any people, and the ground was fairly firm Cheers Gav ]1908]
2003. We squelched our way to the cache site after the rain. It is not such an appealing site in inclement conditions! We found a drier path to make our way back to the car!
Thanks

A gorgeous day to be wandering around the lagoon. Didn't see many ducks though! No swaps!
PB found this right away - just as well - as another wet late night expedition.

Nice walk on a sunny day. Must have been really small horses as I didn`t see them. Thanks.
We got very wet feet and the pram got stuck but we had fun finding this one without a GPS!
Thanks
Thanks
number seven today. Its been a long one! No time to look at the scenery.Off to kowhai bush...TFTC
Good find on a sunny afternoon, got wet feet. Took bird added polished stone. Number 7!
tried to do a drive thru. drove in, but the gate was shut on the way out. YIKES! Gate was not padlocked. PHEW!
Surprisingly there were quite a few people around the stables near GZ. They must have wondered what the h..l I was doing there, trying not to look out of place. + cow.
Getting late in the day. Luckily I didn't drive INTO the racing grounds as my car would have been locked in while I was getting the cache!

Number five of the night session. Only time for one day in Greymouth so making the most of it! Nice walk around the lagoon.
Number one NZ find. Suprised when I logged the details in the gps, was just over a mile (yes I still deal in miles!)from where I was. Took red lizard left tape. Lizard on way to Scotland now! TFTC
Nice One!!!!!!!Great start to a new days caching. Spent a bit of time watching the nearby activity. Away we go. TNLN Thanks

TNLN, TFTC.

Were going to leave this one for the Coast Cacher's to be FTF, but then I saw some CHCH cacher's on the coast, who I know like to get FTF's, so out I went near midnight for a cache hunt, found in about five min's ducks still awake.
Many Thanks Bitsprayer
