We love these road side information signs, thanks for sharing this one with us. TN L deck of cards. TFTC.
I agree with the last cacher this one was intersting to read. Caching my way across Wyoming on a counties quest, thanks for letting this cache be a part of it.
US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 20. Time to cross a few more US states of the list for Caching, starting in Casper, Wyoming. The time has come to head East for a bit. We drove from Casper to Rapid City, stopping at as many caches as Time allowed along the way. Thanks.

I was travelling through the area and decided to break up the long stretches with some caches. This one was interesting. Take the time to read the historical marker. I never would have suspected that a college used to be here! I really enjoy caches that lead me to places I would have otherwise driven past. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Traveling from Caper to Chadron to do a quick trip into Nebraska and then heading up to Rapid City, South Dakota Mainly to collect a few more US states but do some caching and exploring along the way.
Greetings from Canberra Australia.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Visiting from Australia and found with Albida and mtrax during our 4 week US adventure...
After 3 days in and around Casper WY, we started our trek further north. Managed to grab a few caches along the interstate and had a great time watching the scenery go by.
A quick find here and all was good.
Thanks and greetings from Australia.....

Wow! Great place for a cache just because of the history on the marker sign. We have past this place numerous times and never even slowed down. Great example of geocaching making a difference! TFTC TNLN SL
The wife and I traveled and cached from Bloomington, MN to Casper, WY today. We were trying to pick up some missing DeLorme pages and add some new counties. We will see how successful we were after we get to Elko, NV and do the My Geocaching Profile. On all but one of the caches we SL TNLN.
Thanks to all the COs who placed and maintain these hides for cachers to enjoy.
This as the eleventh cache found today.

10/9/2013 12:13:47 AM Found: This is another cache that I have driven by many times but never took time to stop. Parked really close to the sign and read the history. Very cool that the corner stone to the college was at the marker. Hard to imagine how desolate this area might have been in that day, though there might have been more people than now. It's as dark as the inside of a cow, but the sky is unbelievable. Used the ambient glow of the parking lights to walk to ground zero and enjoy the celestial tapestry. Found the cache in good shape. Holy smokes! Another nicely-sized container. Extracted it, signed the log, and then replaced as found. Thanks for the nice cache and the history.
TFTC Oh, this one was fun also. I am driving a motorhome towing a car which means I cannot backup with the car being towed with all four wheels down on the ground. I misjudged how big the spot was here on the road; I thought I was going to have to disconnect the car to get out of there, but I was able to use some of the grassy area to complete the turn. The cache is in great shape.
Another area I would not have found if it weren't for your cache. Awesome area, TFTC, SL
