Our party of 3 looked everywhere for this cache and even dug up some dirt around the base of the tree in case it was buried but came up empty handed. Noticed someone lurking near by.... It was a fellow cacher who joined the search. Nice to meet you Mountainman82
The family comes past here often; it's a lovely place. Today, I had to take EM (kid #2) out to Eudlo for a practice, and while she practiced I hunted for this cache. Nice walk, and easy find.

Stacks of bird poo around the track! taken the travel bug, will be on his way to a race course near brisbane
Found on 3rd August on a trip to Noosa for a wedding. No trackables were found in the cache even though inventory had some listed. We must have looked a sight, all dressed up and traipsing through scrub and ferns and coming out of the bush a while later covered in undergrowth! Giggled at the sign warning against dropping unwanted poultry in the park!
Awesome...more bracken fern...lol.
Did this one after dark and sounded like I was heading to a duck colony.
Note-logbook feels a little damp but still can be written on .

TFTC, took a little while, as my GPS said quite a distance away. Eventually found though. TN, left Get To The Choppa travel bug soldier SL
Had never ventured this far into this area before and it is a delightful little pocket. With some subtle suggestions, Princess Featherwrite soon had the cache in hand and even managed to not squeal with excitement.
All in good condition. Swapped a toy spider for a Brats Badge and replaced the cache back in its place.

TFTC Great cache. Really does look like a dairy door. Went bush for it, found with the 4 travelling buds. At least I wore long trousers others have scratches on legs. TNLNSL

This cache was mobbed as part of 2013's Mission Empty Glass (MEG) - tackling all caches in 'The Glasshouse Mountains'. Mysteries, Micros, Multis, Mountains, Madness, the lot. MEG#3, the Glass Borders, was a day trip around the outside of the defined Glasshouse Mountains. I put out the call if anyone would like to join me for the trip, expecting I'd hope a couple at least to share the day ... was joined by up to 27 of us at the peak, in convoy. Big day out for some caches. Across the day we mostly consisted of myself with Censations, net88, La Kedi, Fangsoki, Sweet_bee, Bedmaker, TassieGirl, Jimmyproject, Karen_hippo, Brother Colin, Iolanthek, T-Tech, Hiltonclan, Nyssaflutterby, membsec, Crew153, Ms Maddy, Nurseyjulie, Hunting Rabbit, Dansync and Just-a-trifle.
After mobbing another nearby cache some chose to walk to this one. That would be a nice walk on most days, but there's a lake in the way, so a longer walk resulted for them. The rest drove the short distance and walked straight to it for a quick mobbing before heading off for the next one. About here I noticed that a few more cachers had joined us, but sorry I missed who they were. Will watch the logs to see who founds it. "Hi" and welcome tot he mobbing. We also noticed some of the mob had bypassed this area and gone somewhere else. I think it was the back road down from Montville that threw the mojo[:X] Quick find for the multiple scavenging parties that descended enmasse onto GZ.
Thanks for placing this cache, Green Team 2. Found in good condition.

Headed north out of Brisbane with IolantheK set for a big day of caching through and around the Glass House Mountains as part of Pprime (P`)'s MEG#3 mob
For those not in the know MEG stands for "Mission Empty Glass" or to explain, P` wants to bag these caches and a bunch of us cachers went along to get them as well [^])
A great day was had by all with a mile stone or two to boot.
This was cache 27 of 39 finds and 3 DNF today [^]

Cache number twenty-five for me whilst caching with the MEG #3 group. I waited to try and find the cachers that we had lost before heading into the bush. Eventually most of us were there so we headed in to meet the rest of the group and sign the cache. Thanks for the cache Green Team 2
I loved this cache because there was a loo nearby. Aside from that, Dr Hunting Rabbit was pretty excited to be the one to find this one. Find #25 of the day with MEG#3 mob.
MEG#3 MOB, Cache 26
We drove here from Highway One - Palmwoods and walked up the path. The group that tried to walk here ended up on the wrong side of the pond, but weren't game enough to swim for it and had to walk around. The MOB scoured the bush and Dr Hunting Rabbit managed to be at the right tree at the right time. I can't believe I found a cache with so many people searching for it.

Found on our day out with the MEG#3 group. (though they detoured another way and only a couple of us found this one.)
We took a different way around and grabbed this one on our way past.
All dry and in good condition.
Thanks for the cache.

The MEG #3 group was starting to slow down after about 25 finds for the day and so it was a bit of a procession to the cache including a couple of cachers who tried to access it from the other side of the lagoon.
A nice spot and a well hidden cache. TFTH.

Up the sunny coast with Crew153 and Nurseyjulie.
At this stage we'd joined the MEG#3 mini-event and were in the convoy. That's a 10-4 Big Buddy!
Wine is in the fridge chillin' out for my return home feet up tonight
All Hail to the delectable Pprime(p') for organising this jaunt in the countryside today

The last time we were here, the rain was coming down in buckets. Today as part of the MEG#3 mob we were able to mark this one off the list of things to do. TFTC
I took part in Pprime's MEG#3 today This was my #27 for the day. T-Tech, Hiltonclan and I went the wrong way to this one, but soon spotted a better way. At GZ we got a hint and it was an easy find. TFTC, Green Team 2.
MEG#3. We decided to walk to this one from a cache close by. It turns out we went the wrong way and had to back track around the pond to get to GZ. Once we got to GZ we managed a quick find. Nice hide. TFTC.
No luck tonight, to dark for us to search properally. We will have to go back and search during the day.
We decided it was time to do some caching in the hinterland, so headed off there today. This cache was a bit of a nightmare - the GPS was all over the place and the vegetation was all over the place after the recent bad weather. It was almost impossible to work out where the tracks were. Finally we stumbled upon a likely hiding spot and fortunately the cache was slightly exposed so we made the find. We took the trackable and signed the log. TFTC
Found at 1600hrs.
We parked at a nearby carpark and made our way along the path towards GZ reading some of the local history along the way.
As the path ended, we had to do a little bush bashing, with Mr Wesso taking the lead, looking out for Joe Blakes (Snakes).
Mr Garmin was working very well and we found ourselves very close to a likely looking hide. After a very quick search, the container was located.
We retrieved the log, signed it and carefully replaced the cache, as we found it.
Inside the cache was in a good, dry condition.

The GPSr had a bit of trouble here but I knew I was in the general area so just relied on geosense to track it down. It was very busy at the bowls club today and I heard part of a talk on internet security from across the lake! Left moose and phonecards TNSL TFTC
In the area for a few days so it's only natural to collect a few smilies.

On the Sunshine Coast for the weekend escaping the heat and of course finding some caches. Nice quick find.

Found after a few wrong turns, scratches and mozzie bites! Once we spotted a likely tree, the carefully placed bark gave it away. Dropped off Charly the duck (Die Ente Charly) travel bug who just loved the duck pond, and said hello to Sally the blue car.
Returned to Just Ducky today to place 'Sally' t/b in cache as this was the preferred final destination of this T/B. Cache is in good condition.
Council maintained on a toilet block blocked off the tracks to here, had to trail blaze to find it, big ass spiders and mozzies.

We found the right track..in the end! It was a good walk thru the bush beside the big spider we came across.

tftc if it wasn't for u i would hav never know that whole other area in the bush was there
Visiting here from Winnipeg Canada and out introducing our Aussie friends to geocaching. This was a fun hunt in the woods, our favorite kind. Aussie friend found it. GPS' were jumping around and coordinates were off for us. A nice hide. TCoin LTB TFTC
Lots of bush bashing to find this one....not a track many people travel by the looks of it...Geokids, in particular, were a tad worried about all the ibis and didn't want to get pooed on.
Great cache, no poo and lots of fun.
Traded 2 gems from opal world for a rubber gecko and plastic ring.

Took a while and I also had a run-in with the wait-a-while. A very observant geohubby came up with the goods. TFTC
Nice little walk in the bush. Had to watch out for the wait-a-while bush which gave me a scratch [:0]til I came up with the find TNLN TFTC Thanks Green Team 2
Good find... the track was heaps overgrown... i was like treking through the jungle TFTC
Went round and round in circles, tracks very overgrown and wet. A few more clues would have been good.
Friends have just moved to the area. Christened it with a geocache. Nice spot & interesting path.
I must have thought I was doing a Scrub Bull cache because I bush bshed my way to GZ only to find a track materialise on my return journey. No mud in sight. Enjoyed it and saw plenty of Gray and Rufous Fantails as well as a beautiful blue Forest Kingfisher near the water. Thanks for an enjoyable outing. Found at the second place I looked.
Gps was way off and led me to a different tree. Cache was exposed so hid it again. Very overgrown track. TFTC
This track is really overgrown. Beware of the wait-a-while, and more wait-a-while, some mud, then bush bashed to the cache. Don't forget your gumboots.
Hi Green Team 2
Glad we were able to pick up another one of your caches while on the Sunshine Coast
Have been to this lovely little park many a time but never gone along this path before
Had to watch out for clingy palm which caught geo hubby as he brushed past it
