No pen today but did my best to scratch 'stil' in with an old work pencil. Have photo of log just in case. Few spots left to sign. Tftc
#667 Whilst in the area finding some other caches and before heading off towards my next destination for some more finds I stopped off here. I was keen to pick up almost a years worth of unloved months on this cache, all pushing me closer to some challenges I've been eyeing off. Parked off the shoulder of the road and made a quick little hike up the hill to this one. A quick find at GZ, signed and replaced as found and made my way back down to my vehicle. Thanks for the hide and maintenance over the years, cheers!
On my way past heading home decided to drop by this one. An easy enough find without using the hint. Cheers.
A bit cooler today, didn’t see any snakes here but the grass is very long.... I expect they’re watching me! A straightforward find at GZ, thanks.
An easy find once i navigated the grossly overgrown grass and thistles. Walked away from this one very itchy. Thanks
Edit: Nearly stood on a brown snake on my walk out of here. Please be careful

After a lovely walk across the road we decided to come up here and check out the view. And it was lovely. TFTC
Found today on a walk with Joolay. Happy to finally grab this cache.

Quick find, nice views, all in good order.
Thank you marlais and adopted by growingupisoptional for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Easy run up from the road and quick find. A very red sun is rising in the smoke above the nearby hill. A great sight. Tftc.
Have spied this one on many an occasion, made the time today to climb the hill for a quick find. Quite the view! TYFC.
On our return from a nursery run we decided to grab this cache. There's so much roadworks going on with the duplication project it's actually difficult to find an easy approach. Parking the opposite side of the hill we cut across country to discover a nice view.
The cache was located quickly, signed and replaced. Cache is in good condition. Tftc

Found with Decrypter. We'd found a nearby and we decided to go for this one. What with all the road work nearby we were a little concerned that it might not be around much longer. However, once we'd crossed the road we realized that it is a safe distance away. We climbed the hill and once at GZ we soon had CIH. TFTC.
A few years ago I used to travel along this road every day to work and back and I used to look up at this hill and think I’d like to climb that one day. Well that day is tonight. It might be cold but the sky is clear and all the stars out. It was a lovely little climb up to the top of this hill. And and even at night time the views are nice. TFTC.
Day 2 of our weekend journey to Canberra to clear out some of the trails. OCW The Bebes, AlphaDeltaIndigo and JordsAU doing some cycling. Some great hides and views along the way. Plus plenty of wildlife. Thanks to COs for placing these hides. TFTC
Found in the dark after dinner. The Brewmobile went off road for this one. Boy was it cold up there! Our last one for the day. Great work team!

Found with AlphaDeltaIndigo, Brewmaker and The Bebes.
I have been working towards a self imposed target, with the goal of the upcoming Giga Event in Cincinnati OH to be my 4,000th milestone. Needing in excess of 200 caches before I fly out to the United States of America in just over a week’s time, I hatched a plan to spend a weekend in our Nation’s Capital to help me reach the required number. I floated the idea out to a few geo-buddies and there was immediate interest, so we made the necessary arrangements and were eager to get going.
It was an early morning start on the Friday. I picked up The Bebes on the way through and we swung by the newly published ‘Whites Creek Wetlands’ Earth Cache (GC7MW51) in Annandale for a quick First To Find to start the trip on a positive note. Continuing on to Brewmaker’s, we hopped in the Brew-mobile, with the bikes on the back, and hit the road towards Canberra. The main target for the first day was to complete the section of the Canberra Centenary Trail (CCT) from Hall to Bonner. It was cold, windy and a little wet, but the mountain bikes ate up the trail and the riders conquered the mountain. In the evening, AlphaDeltaIndigo bussed in from Sydney and we relaxed in the warmth of a pub to watch a thrilling Swans victory on the big screen.
The Saturday was almost as full on but the riding was a little easier than the first day. We cycled the length of the Majura Cycleway series and back again, in similar weather conditions, picking up as many caches as we could along the way. After a surprisingly good dinner at a veggo restaurant in Dickson, we continued driving around town to finish up a long day with some more finds.
We woke on our final day of the trip to sunshine and slightly warmer weather. The main objective for the Sunday was to complete as many caches of the University of Geocaching Canberra (UGC) series as we could, as well as others in that area. We struggled on a few (and had to log a Did Not Find on some) but otherwise did well in making a dent in the series. On the way back to Sydney in the evening, we made pit stops in Penrose and Pheasants Nest.
A fun and successful weekend caching with great company. Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners.

Spectacular view, would've been better during the day though. We drove up in Brew's geomobile, a little risky in the dark, but we made it ok

Roadtrip from Sydney with AlphaDeltaIndigo, Brewmaker & JordsAU
After a few hours on the bikes this morning we were now back in the Brewmobile. We'd had a delicious plant powered dinner and we were caching in the dark.
A little off road action by the Brewmobile got us quickly up to GZ. Thankfully a quick find once there as the wind was really strong and really cold! Last one for the night......off to bed

After dropping Bobl27 off at a competition for him to do his bit helping, I headed to north Canberra for a spot of caching by myself. Got 8 from 8 over the course of the morning with a mid morning break and lunch stop slowing me down.
First of the morning and a quick jaunt up the hill for a quick find and some fine views. Replaced the bag as the old one was falling apart.
Thanks growingupisoptional for the cache!

A quick dash up the hill to get the legs and heart moving. Many thanks for this cache
Snagged this one on a LONG walk around looking for caches. I liked the views, I felt very encompassed by the brilliant earth. TFTC
We parked at the bottom and walked up the hill. I soon found it and it was wet. But inside wasn't. Tftc!!!
AddictedGamer and I were up early and figured we might as well go out.
Wet outside the cache, but log dry. We parked down the bottom and walked up. I'm sure the car could have made it up, but I didn't want to try. Tftc!!!

Driving along with no one behind me I decided today was the time to stop. Stopping at the bottom of the steepest side of the track up was no way my little old car was getting up there so a walk up was in order! Neither far or hard and a quick find up the top. Thanks for the cache!
Found with Geosnag1 after parkrun. Brilliant idea to go caching with my bike shoes on - cleets made it that much easier
Sunday 23 July 2017 - a sunny cold windy Winter's afternoon for a 7km walk to find 4 from 4 caches. Quick and easy find after a short walk up the steep hill. Thx p2p. TFTC growingupisoptional.
I slipped out of the line of HPD traffic and parked at the bottom of the hill (I shouldn't have resisted the temptation to drive up - why does this hill even have such a well worn track?).
Nice views (there was indeed a coming storm) from this funny little fly-blown and rubbish-strewn hill.
A quick find, even though I was like Santa Claus, making his naughty and nice list and "checking it twice". After that, the challenge was to get back into the heavy line of HPD traffic... TFTC

#1473 After seeing the frozen muddy creek, we made our way up with Green-Martian to find this simple cache. TFBUH growingupisoptional.
We've been meaning to look for this cache for ages and finally got around to doing it. Glad to see this one lasted longer than a day thanks.
Stopped by here on the way home from Majura.
The amount of times I have drove past this hill but told myself the cache can wait is insane.
I either have no time, motivation or am too tired from a day out.
Finally I had some spare time left and walked up the hill leaving the car at the bottom.
A simple little hide, and the place wasn't as much of a "dump" as I expected. There were only a couple of little items but other than that it was fairly clean TFTC

Broke out the geobike for the first time. No muggles at midnight. What a dump! TNLNSL TFTC
We didn't get around to doing this one during our streak but today I was cleaning up a bit on the north side and it was finally time. No way was the LokiPaganMobile getting up there so found a parking spot some distance away and walked in from there. There was a bit of a giant puddle after the rain that took some navigating around but managed to stay dry while doing so. Once at GZ made a quick find of the cache. It was harder getting back around the puddle but also managed in the end - phew. Thanks growingupisoptional
4/4 found today! A box of abandoned toys and clothes at the top of the hill had me confused but nevertheless spotted the all too familiar tin box. Geobrother was super excited for this one, his first find! TFTC
25/26 Today '
Finished the power trail, and caches in goorooyoo (well, most, will be back for a couple more)
Came off the fire trail into peak hour traffic! fortunately, a car let me in and I was on the right side of the road bound for the mound. Finally actually climbed this on my bike (I've looked at it many times, but always decided I was too knackered).
Go to top, saw a good caniddate for a Large cache, alas, it was just rubbish. Real cache was right next to my foot.
Signed and on my way. TFTC!

I could have picked a day with more pleasant weather to find this one, but a nice view nevertheless. Found cache quickly. TFTC
Had first glance of the map Isopeda and I thought we could get my hubby's car quite close to the cache but after seeing the track up the hill decided it wasn't worth the potential divorce. Great view. TFTC.
frankofilli and I decided not to drive up as there was a deepish mud puddle at the bottom of the path. It was nice to walk up and take in the views. Took a few photos of the tree and to distract from our actual mission.

Found 7:55 pm. Was out looking for a few caches and in this area. Drove the geovehicle up the hill, parked and jumped out to find the cache. Didn't take too long to find it. The cache container was missing it's lid and the log book was full. So I decided to replace the container with a similar container and added some more paper to the log. Replaced where it was found after signing the log. Thanks for the cache.
Coming home from grabbing some caches on the southside, on such a really hot day, I said to ACTchil that I hadn't got this one yet which he had found a while ago and asked if he could stop so I could grab and he drove Kenny Corolla up the hill and off I went towards the GZ, found easily and signed the log. The container's lid is missing and if it rains, not sure that will happen in the next few days, it will get wet. TFTC growingupisoptional.
Although the log is full, we managed our moniker on it, and we replaced the bag with a new ziplock from our cache kit. Trash out - 5 bongs (didn't know potheads liked Gatorade so much), 3 goon bags, lots of cans and bottles.
Had the day off today. Time for some geocaching. Aim is to complete the stargate series of caches (and maybe even find 1,000) but am taking a round about way to the start point and grabbing caches I pass. A quick and easy find. TFTC
Lovely scene the country - signed the log with dragon, Thanks growingupisoptional.
Accompanied with everlasting for the day, we enjoyed walk . Signed the log. TFTC
Log was a bit damp. I held it in the wind for a bit to dry it out before adding my autograph. TFTC.
Top views!!! Good cache. The lid is no longer attached to the container, but it still stays on. TFTC!!!
My geomobile has very low clearance so I was not going to drive to this one. A great view from the gz. The container seemed to be a bit away from its proper location. TFTC
Might need a new container soon! Great views! Geo fiancé loved the little 4wd action!
Easy nab, would advice not driving off road from horse park rd as very muddy, wheel stickin gloop even with a ute! May be better when its not rained so much!

On a caching run with Napalm 327, i guided my Subie up the slope and parked near GZ.
NP followed his smartphone, whilst i made the find:)
We both agreed the views at night were pretty cool.
Thanks for the adventure GUIO.

I have been meaning to get the cache for years. Quick and Easy find and fun watching the police below pull up all the speeders
Had my eye on this one for a while as I pass this spot at least weekly. So after eating way too much at Christmas lunch today was the day. I love this tree!
I drove the little geomobile (Honda Jazz) right up to GZ and had an easy find. Thanks.
Poor wasptor, I wasn't sure about driving the car up to the top so I made us all walk. It was a very nice view indeed and took some extra time signing the log to enjoy it. TFTC!
2013: 241 Days In A Row - This place could do with a bit of a CITO event. Fraggles made us walk up the hill, so thankfully it wasn't all that stressful. A good view from up there though, and a quick find made by Fraggles. TFTC!
Beautiful view!

2013-08-12 0196 Brisk walk up the hill, found cache, enjoyed the view of the nearby hills, then on to the next cache. Tks!
Found late on Saturday night on my way back from a visit to Sydney. I would be surprised if this cache would get muggled now although judging by the rubbeish lying around it looks like its looks it has lots of inconsiderate visitors. I considered driving up just because it had been a long day but decided that the walk was probably the better option when I saw the damp ground and a couple of deep holes. I considered the dark and damp that Shanks Pony was probably the better option this time. Besides the Wombat needs the exercise. It sounded like the kangaroo cull had started nearby so I decided not to go up into the park tonight.
Thanks GUIO for the hunt and the cache.

Any excuse to make use of the GeoForester's abilities over my previous GeoVan! Drove to GZ for a quick find. Nice views here. This area seems to be exploding with blocks of flats and houses all jammed in together. TFTC!
Log is a bit wet. Replaced the plastic bag with a Ziploc bag, although it is a little big for the container.
nice to be able to drive up to the GZ and I was surprised by the excellent view from a small hill tftc growingupisoptional
