We Dutchies are happy traveling with our campervan from Cairns to Brisbane Found this cache on our adventure TB in: 0TB out: 1
Finding myself in Mapleton doing a wherigo, I saw this blue frown here and just couldn't leave it unfound. Parked up in the almost empty carpark and wandered down the path to GZ. Got there, and started my search in the wrong place. Helps to read the description! After about 10 minutes of being there I found the cache well tucked away. I was so close last time! Thanks for the cache green team 2/kingfisherau!
This took me longer to find than I thought it would! Pretty much had the place to myself, beautiful little walk around wompoo circuit! Tftc
Brought the critters with me today. No luck looking around the seat, and all the buttress trees in the area. Will try again another time.
I'm loving hunting for these old green team 2 caches. Thanks so much kingfisherau for taking them on board and showering them with love and order.I initially didn't realise I'd come too far and was chilling at the peregrine lookout. I was busy following the adventure lab wompoo circuit around. Checking out the geomap while snacking saw the error of my ways, and knowing it was just a few hundred metres, I hefted my bag and marched back to search gz.It actually was a really quick find. Peeped at the hint and let my eyes initially do the searching. From the right angle I was assured so was soon signing the log.All good here. Thanks again kingfisherau for the geocache!Another monster i met on the journey.. (pic)Find number 5474!
Searched but couldn't find it around the seat or buttress roots. There was a sign about buttress which was pulled out of ground and appeared to have been moved from original location. Also looks of muggles inhibiting the search. Hopefully next time
No luck for me today. Couldn't find anything of interest close to where I rested my butt. Thanks anyway for bringing me here green team 2.
Hier musste ich gegen Moskitos kmpfen und habe mich vom Blutegel beien lassen ........ da war Schlu mit Suchen.Trotzdem liebe Gre von den deutschen Caradoos google-translate:Here I had to fight mosquitoes and let the leech bite me..... that was the end of the search.Nevertheless, greetings from the German Caradoos
Doing the circuit for the recently added adventure lab here and was convinced by my tour guide to stop and look for this too. But I didnt bring a pen! Not to worry, there was both a pen and a pencil in the cache. Double bagged to keep it nice and dry. Glad we took the time for an older trad. My coords had me elsewhere but the hint put us in the right spot.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Green Team 2 [^]
We had actually visited GZ earlier in the day but it was right at the height of all the runners going passed doing the Blackall100. We had a token look but were getting too many strange looks from the runners to hang around. We also had to keep getting off the path to let them through. We had just dropped my mum back in Mapleton to catch a shuttle to the next run checkpoint and thought we had to come back for a better look. There were still some runners but not as many as before. We also met Jaseck who were here for the same reason.Once we realised we were both geocaching we set about together to find the hide. Unlike our visit a few hours before Mrs Woodyrothwell made light work of finding the hide. tftc
Found with mezza74 on a day trip up to the Hinterlands with muggle mother. Came to check out the falls but I knew there was a nearby cache. Such a lovely walk to the cache but sadly time restrictions prevented us for continuing on.Thanks Green Team 2 for bringing me
Had to bide our time waiting for photo-taking muggles so we were glad to have a seat. This was a lovely part of the Great Walk and nicely accessible for everyone too. Thanks kingfisherau
Such a lovely walk through this area. I had a break between a couple of groups of muggles once I arrived at the large tree at GZ, and although I quickly scoped out where the coordinates wanted me, I had moved over to the large specimen with many butts! It wasn't long before I made the cache find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks kingfisherau for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 03/2007 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 1000 oldest yet active geocaches.

Today, a planned *Maker Magic* event on the top of Kenilworth Bluff had me make a trip north. When I completed this hike one year ago, I hadn't prepared for the walk to take the full day, and missed out checking other vicinity highlights. Following the event, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I took a drive north-west through Brooloo and Imbil, and we scoped out the Mary Valley Rail Trail, and Imbil State Forest to the south-west. Those 4WD tracks didn't pose any concerns and were in good condition.
For lunch, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I returned to Kenilworth where we had lunch at the infamous bakery, and we ran into [Peppa](https://coord.info/PRAXNZZ) who had returned from the hike. We completed the finding of geocaches around town, and I then took off towards Mapleton, stopping off at Mapleton Falls National Park for a short walk. As time continued to get away from me, I was able to make a few final stops in Nambour, and then took the drive home fighting congestion on the M1 highway.
I also commenced/completed two Adventure Labs:
• [Not Too Shabby.](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/ead46a00-3de3-48be-97ed-2033deff279b); and
• [A wander around Kenilworth](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/703debde-f896-446d-ad5a-748aee0abcf7).

Day out in this area to help PirateLinda reach a milestone. Other players are Peppa and TMZ59.
After checking out the view, we continued on along the path to search for this cache.
Peppa was at one location but didn't seem right to me, so moved to another spot and searched and found the cache. Happy dance! SL then returned as found. Beautiful forest.

Having studied the rocks closer to the waterfalls, this oldie was the next to find…
Geepers pulled me up early, so it was Patrol14 who went to the correct spot and retrieved the container… What an awesome spot to take a break… tftc…

Found cache and signed log. Returned cache as found. Out with patrol14, Pirate Linda, and Peppa. Beautiful day for finding a cache or two. We have a list and we will follow it . Peppa was resting his butt in the wrong place. TFTC.
Out for the day with Peppa, Patrol14 and TMZ59. After doing the nearby Earthcache thought we'd grab this one
We had been to Kenilworth to visit the dairy and now, as we wended our way home, we stopped to visit the falls and do the circuit walk. It took us a little longer to find this one than it should have but we got there in the end.

Headed through doing some pack training with a buddy today. Thanks for the new log sheet! Very nice area to explore
The million mozzies and geohubby and I all pitched in to find this one for his 39th birthday.
Emptied out about a cup of water from the container and the log book was damp (sorry didn't bring spares on this trip), but managed to still sign the log and complete the circuit.
Tftc!

After waiting for a few muggles to pass by, I made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Took a it longer than I expected, but cache in hands and ready to go back to work.
Took awhile to find. Nice size container. My gps kept jumping around. 11m - 17m out for me. You can find it whilst sitting down.
Beautiful walk. We’ve never been here before. No muggles around today we were able to quickly grab the cache. TFTC

OMG some muggles just do not get the hint!! I want that seat people!!!! Took some waiting before they finally moved on. Walking was apparently not their thing! Finally the seat was mine!!!! And a quick find. Mind you I swooped on that seat faster than an eagle on a rabbit!
This is obviously the spot to be. Parking was at a premium, avo's were sold by the bag full and muggles were chewing up the oxygen by the lung full.
At the spot to park the butt, a small muggle group were camped. Not in any great hurry, the female(s) of the species were in full flight. Not drawing breathe for 22.5 mins, both females kept their males transfixed with tales of woe, at the same time. Now I've been a captive audience in times past but if I could have sold cyanide pills, the audience would have been mine.
E v e n t u a l l y . . . they left the butt rester and Gcoven swept in to find the container. Got back to the car some 2 hours later than was expected. Thanks all for keeping this oldie in the game.

I rested my butt, and pointed at likely locations for my caching compatriots to check out. Turns out I was wrong on all accounts! TFTC.
Can’t resist picking up an old cache while in the vicinity. A little bit of looking and then it was found, signed and returned. It was then down to checker the view from the other lookout.
While I was focusing on a different buttress Jacs team came up with the cache! Thanks for placing. This tree is amazing, so is the native olive tree nearby this is an amazing place. TFTC
So wet and rainy today - perfect for the rainforest experience! Many cars were in the carpark but we didn't cross paths with another soul while checking out the area.

My third find and such a fantastic setting. My gps was giving me a bum steer and I gave up, but came back later and just thought about it and there it was.
Ok...so straight up, this gets a favourite point from me, simply because of how long it took to find. Geofriendly partner and I are in Mapleton for a sneaky weekend away. We love a good waterfall so decided to come and check out Mapleton Falls. We must've searched for a good half hour...reading and re-reading the description, hint, previous logs etc... Like many before us, we over thought the hint and it was a genuine 'oh here it is the sneaky little bugger' moment when I finally laid my hands on the container. Contents are pretty dry even thought the container is sitting amongst moist camouflage. TNLN SL TFTC
Came out to check this one as last 2 cachers couldn't find, I found the cache in the correct spot as per the original hide and Hint.
Looked around and couldn’t find it
Though we gave up after encountering a snake
Take care

We haven't been to this beautiful park in years. Thanks Green Team 2 for bringing us back here. The cache and log are in good condition.
Out and about with Simber15 and GeoNayfee today, we had visited nearby Mapleton Falls and Pencil Creek, and came along to make the find on this cache.
What an amazing tree!
In looking for this cache, we overthought things way too much and spent time looking where we didn't need to. Simber15 eventually found the cache. Log signed and all replaced as found, we headed back to the geomobile to continue our adventures.
Thanks Green Team 2 for the cache.

Out with Simber15 and Willis007 taking in the scenery and enjoying a bit of caching around Mapleton and Nambour for the day.
This was really tricky as first, Willis007 and myself were looking everywhere and we couldn’t spot anything, so Simber15 opted to PAF, which didn’t really help us at all, so we continued to search, then Simber15 pulled the container out of nowhere. Guess we rested our butts in the wrong location.

Thankyou so much for placing this here and bringing it to our attention. A brilliant walk and the sounds of birds and water were a plenty! GeoNayfee was convinced it was elsewhere and focused his attention there. I tried to PAF and Wills007 was circling thinking it was here or there. Hubby eventually made the connection and landed the container.
Called past today as I heard that the cache here was found in the not correct place, I found it and placed it in the correct spot as per the original hide and Hint..

The hunt for a new Wherigo had me passing pretty close to this cache and I couldn't resist. Time was against me, though, so I wasn't going to be resting any butt! Jogged down the track to GZ where it was suprisingly busy; school hols, I guess. But soon I was on my own, and I made the grab and signed the log. Beautiful spot, so I definitely need to return some time and explore the paths at leisure. Thanks for the cache, Green Team 2.
Ventured through here the other day and all is well with this cache.
Love the area.
Thanks again Green Team

We took a pleasant walk through the rainforest, and though it was cool and drizzly, it was lovely to see.
We took a rest to read the info boards and let another group go by, then made the grab. Really enjoyed this area.
