As there has been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it has been a number of months since the last owner note I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. I reported maintenance was needed on this one, still 6 months later nothing has been done. Scouts need to look after their caches.

Had a look for it but guessing its not there as people couldn't find it before and neither could we

Is this cache still available to find? If not, in view of the most recent DNFs this cache should be archived as no effort seems to have been made to rectify it.

Not today. GZ is very open. Had to let this one go....

Tried to locate this cache over 2 days, they is no sign at the GZ at all, you can see where the sign has been cut off and removed. Searched the area for a container on the ground or surrounds.

The cache needs maintanence, if the cache needs new coordinates the cache needs to be updated, The sign is missing from the area.

Great long weekend adventure

I wanted to have a look at the ferry, so was delighted to see there was a cache to find nearby.
After logging, we watched the ferry come in and out again, most interesting. Just one operating today.

Found cache with Purnell clan .found cache had been tampered with . We found container on ground and log book out of cache . We put log back in and returned cache but were unable to sign as it was so wet .

WE have seen pristine beaches, wonderfull parks & some inventive caches.
Had trouble finding this one but soon was in hand. No muggles waiting for the ferry.

Made our way to this one on our 3 day visit to the Sunshine Coast but unfortuately there were workmen working on the road infront of gz. I tried to walk to the area taking a wide berth but one very efficient sign holder indicated that I shouldn't entry!! Oh well I will just have to come back another day!

I guess we should have paid the Ferry Man if my memory of the song is correct. Scratched our heads at where there GPS was pointing and the clue but the cache was there. We then deduced that it probably used to make more sense. TFTC.

Made my way to GZ and very quickly spotted the hide, So I just had to tie my shoe lace up

Had the sucker in hand and retreated to the nearby picnic table and did the deed [:o)]

Quickly returned it back to it's hide and continued on my way [^]

Tftc, found it with Geowife, but GZ not as per photo hints, changes , stick to coords and you should be ok. "sign of the times"
Cache lid was rusted, bent and not closing so we replaced eclipse container with a new green one to keep contents dry (after eating last of mints) Hope that was ok

Found cache quickly and signed log. Had to wait for muggle that pulled up in car while signing log to leave before returning to where it was found. Great spot for a cache but does need magnets replacing. Next time we are in the area we will replace if hasn't been done. We have a magnetized eclipse tin ready to go, shame I didn't have it with me. This cache was one of the ones I grabbed while in Queensland for 40 hours. I arrived in at Queensland Airport and then grabbed a hire car for the next 40 days. I had time to do some caching in-between attending a sad family matter in Noosa. While in Queensland I had a chance to cache just the south side of Brisbane, Around Noosa and along the Sunshine Coast. I was pressed for time and chose to forgo sleep one night to maximize my time while in Queensland. The Majority of my caching was done at night and I could not believe the amount of toads in the state now. All in all I had a great time caching up here before heading back down south. Arrive just before the Ferry left. Was fun to watch. TFTC

Our first stop for the morning. The sun was just up and we weren't first in line for the ferry.

Tftc - first of the day and no traffic around. Bullseye team 1.

camping close to this one and was easily found. Busy with muggles though- some stealth needed.

Took a while to get to the right spot to nab this one and with so many muggles around had to be discreet. It was a good 4mts north of given co-ords but it was good to find my last cache before heading home to the blue mts in NSW. TFTC

Number 3 for today. Another 8 to go and we'll do our 28th cache today on Lucy's 28th birthday. Hap birthday Lucy.

Toyed with crossing over to do the couple of caches on the north side of the river mouth but decided that they'd take too long.

Pulled up to await our crossing and manage to pull this one out of the air with three carloads of family watching my prowess. A very quick find then we had to hustle onto the ferry for our trip on the beach.

What a busy place, many taking the ferry, some launching boats and other muggles just watching the action. TFTC

The amount of muggles around GZ was quite annoying. Why are there people just sitting around like brown's cows in their cars?? (no they were not waiting for the ferry). I went on a subtle hunt and managed to grab the cache. The return of the cache was not so subtle There was a container fail as I put it back and everything did not go to plan. Tried again and was all good. Old Mate nearby did not seem to notice or care. TFTC cooroy scouts

Very tricky! Thank goodness for the clue or the dog and I would still be looking for it!!

I found I was welcomed by a Snake positioned where I had to ask it to move so that I could log my visit. It was about 1M long and 15mm to 20mm in diameter. I think it was a Green Tree Snake.TFTC.

Yep, this sure is a busy spot. Had to wait until the cars were loaded before the next arrived to access this cache. As it needed a new baggy ziplock for the log had to do it again. Replaced bag with one without holes. Great cache location. We were staying at the caravan park just up the road and didn't even know this was only a few hundred yards away. Learn something everyday! Maybe coming here on a Sunday afternoon wasn't such a good idea. Seems it's ferry peak hour! Parked the geomobile and spied the cache. Was just about to go in for the kill when a 4X4 coming off the barge parked right a GZ, then sat there until another two mates came over on the next ferry. Nearly time to give up and they all left, so we made a quick dash, signed log and returned before the next ferry came across!

Last day of our weekend at Pomona at the 8th National 4x4 Gathering/4wdQld Corroboree. We had done a trip inland up to Rainbow Beach, then down Teewah Beach back to Tewantin. A huge lineup for the both barges, with about a half hour wait, being the last day of the Queens Birthday long weekend. While waiting for the rest of the group to offload from the barges, the grab was made at 1430hrs.

Quick find in the obvious spot. Container is rusty and I threw away the pulpy mass of paper that was the log book. Left a new log in a plastic bag.

Very easy find for a Scout cache. GPS a little off, but searched the obvious locations for an eclipse tin and the cache was in hand quickly

Found it after being attacked by swarms of mozzies and sand flies. Cleverly hid. The case was infested with ants so I only had time to write my name and not the date before they got onto me. I managed to shake most of them off from the case. Good cache though while I was waiting for the ferry. TFTC watch out for the insects. PS log is now full I think

The police waited for us for an alcohol test, but at 4.00pm, it was a bit too early.

Found this one without too much difficulty and without the gps. Clue pretty much gave it away. Good sneaky hiding place though. Lots of rules about.

a great spot and easy find but a bit harder to put back as someone had parked there to watch the happenings.

Thanks to geoNana we had a childfree weekend to spend in Noosa. We loved exploring the area and glad we had caches to find all over the place. This one had to be a quick nab while the ferry was loading as there were muggles lined up for miles. Very glad it was where we were expecting it to be. Thanks cooroy scouts.
