Seems to have been washed away... again. Will see if i can find a better, more secure location in the near future. drew
I wandered down by the Calliope this morning. A beautiful spot with quite a few campers enjoying the idyllic location
The long grass was soaking wet this morning, but that didn't stop me wandering around looking for the cache. I got wet, I got itchy and I got muddy. But no cache to be found [:o]
I looked everywhere within 20 metres of GZ. Maybe it was a bit further along the peninsula ?
Ah well, it is still a nice spot.

On a long 1 month holiday, we travelled from Cairns to Sydney by campervan. While driving 4000 km, we tried to stop at some of the caches along the way. Finding every cache along the way was not the objective as there are so many caches in Queensland. It would take at least several months to do all of them. On our trip, we have visited 29 cache locations and found 19. This is the 17th cache on our journey.

I’m afraid that this cache is flushed away for the second time. Between us and kat+drew visit, there has been a lot of water and the ground was still soggy from it. We really gave it a good try, but since there was also no hint, we have to log this one as a “did not foundâ€

Went out today to check up on cache as it had a few DNFs in a row. The rain seems to have taken our cache away so we replaced it with a new container and added some trackables to get people back again! Same place as before, except the grass is MUCH longer than before!! Still, can kinda see the path
Just another DNF...
I think the cache has gone with a lot of water and maybe some crocs.

Beautiful stop, and enjoyed the historic aspect too. To think we used to drive over this bridge, with semis coming the other way! A beautiful serene location, but unfortunately no cache to be found in the soggy surrounds. Geodaughter and her dad emerged covered in mud and prickles but without the prize. It did look like it might have washed away.

Had a pretty good look around while keeping a muggle eye out for fisherman. There's looks to have been some recent water over this area and I'm wondering if the cache is missing because of it.
Called past on my way south but Muggles everywhere due to the xmas break. Will try again on way home.
What a welcome stopover with water views! Few muggles about camping and crabbing in the area, but was an easy find afer a short stroll to the river bank. TNLN. TFTC.
Found at 11:44 hrs. Finally got time to call in on this one. Some Muggles around but on the other side of the river. Love these drive bys.

On our relocation drive from Canberra to Cairns and grabbing a few caches along the way. A lovely drive, should have used the old road but we doubled back from the highway
This was a nice easy first for the day. Cache is in good nick and safely hidden. TFTC TNLN Great co-ordinates.
found this on a freezing morning on our holiday in queensland to get warm. the etrex said it was -3 degrees!
nice spot but the caravaners all had generators that spoiled our sleep and wrecked our reception on the amateur bands.
took : yoyo
left :seahorse and earplugs
thanks

This is my second log, and my dad found it yet again! I took a toy periscope and left a yoyo. The logbook needs replacing as I wrote on the last page that was left. Thanks Kat+Drew.

Found with Jimw83 at 11:15am on our Trip from Emerald/Rocky to Brisbane for St George's Ball. Very good little camping spot and by the looks of it, also very popular.

Had a bit of a competition on for the kids finding the most caches on our hols and as this was the last before home, it was " hot property " .Luke popped up out of the grass with the cache and was declared the winner
So then we all went for a swim in the river

Found it early one friday morn with cowboy macca. took nothing, left nothing tftc
Drove out to the highway to meet AbseilQld on his way down to Brisso. Figured we'd hit a couple of the close highway caches while we were there. Awesome spot for a weekend away from the city lights, methinks. TNLN. TFTC.

Found this morning, at about 8am, on my way to Mt Morgan for the caching event. Grabbed the U4DTB to take up there. Lets hope there isnt another huge rainfall event like a couple of years ago, where the water level reached the toilets in the park above the cache. In that case, you may be searching somewhere near NZ for this one. Thanks for the cache.

As I said in one of th last caches found you have to get up damn early to get a FTF in this town or in this case just go out as soon as you see it posted on the web even if it is 8:00pm at night. An easy find under the cover of darkness just the way a panther likes it. Took coin left TB Thanks for the cache
Placed "Everlasting Firefighters Fire Geocoin" as FTF prize. This coin is new to the Gladstone region I believe.
