Long live Stan the Man. He has died along with this cache.

Thanks everyone who has spent time looking for my cache. It looks like it`s gone belly up though due to the sign being replaced. Who the hell replaces DOC signs???? The old one looked ok to me. Anyway, I`ll bang in a marker and pronounce it dead.

Cheers

the doc sign looks like it has been replaced. maybe the cache has been muggled

Couldn't find this one today. Spent about an hour looking with no one around, but to no avail even with the clue. Hope it hasn't been muggled.

Was part of Wandering Dragons when I found this one. Now branching off to my own account.

#6 today, and one of our main goals, both because of location and the Jeep TB in the cache. A nice location for sure. A group of hunters were having lunch nearby, but didn't pose a muggle threat. We laughed for two days about the little car that couldn't make the road - we have a little car and had no trouble. Certainly do *not* need a 4 wheel drive! Smile

We have a little car that it quite low to the ground so unfortunately when we came through today there was a huge pot hole that was filled with water. We didnt wanted to risk getting stuck when we were too far out from help Sad I just wanted to say this may be better suited for 4wd

What?? Muggles on a Sunday afternoon? Had to go for another cache and returned after they left. Easy find, TFTC

Nice spot for it and a decent container. Last time I was here it was for the Andrews / Binser loop and a couple of folks were sleeping on the seats inside. Lots of people about today, no one napping though. Took the TB. Thanks.

Although it took a little longer to find than it should have Chucky3 and I managed to locate it in the dark..... probably would have helped if we had read the cache page before we went looking.

Night Caching. Took a wee while to find this one in the dark Wink

23-Apr-09
Went off the main road to do a few in the area. Nice bird song at GZ. Quick find as GPS spot on. Nice to see a solid container - although we are not doing swops now it is great for younger cachers. TNLN TFTC

Nice day to call by after a walk in Arthurs Pass area.
Easy find with the cache popping it's head clear of the undergrowth (put it back a little more covered).

A beautiful day trip to Arther Pass for the ridders76 clan, much better than staying home. Left Jeep.

I bet this place can be muggle city sometimes. Today however we had it to ourselves. What a classic cache container.
Got chomped by a couple of sandflys, but that is what I do really....

Thanks,
S.t.
A couple of coins and a TB visited

What a lovely day to drive up the valley, fresh snow everywhere! Had a quick stop and found the cache in good condition before heading further upstream. Cheers Gav [2237]

Pretty sure I had the right place, but more muggles than I could shake a stick at (and I was tempted!). Went and tamed the nearby dragon and came back - but muggles kept arriving and arriving, and not leaving!

19-Apr-08
Checked the cache today. All is well. It`s been looked after by previous finders and was well hidden. Thanks.

Nice spot once I got on the right road, had a great explore of some of the back country TFTC

26-Feb-08
This one did take me a wee while as it does blend in well with the objects around it, and its good to see these large caches with plenty of room for goodies, I picked up coin #PCYRH6. cheers

14-Feb-08
Please can anyone bring my coin to Europe or to a TB hotel nearby an airport ?
Thank you so much!

Ha! rather quirky to come back here almost exactly a year after an earlier visit for a cache. Well hidden but must of been lucky and was straight onto it after some muggles drove off.

Neat - a full size cache, blends in well with it's surrounds. Picked up the Canadian geocoin that has been here for 6 months, and left the Come together geocoin (Note - this is a photocopy only, not the original coin)
Lovely spot, a little isolated, but a drive up to cache!

17-Nov-07
Had a pretty wide search but didn't hunt as closely as I should of. Too many muggles. I gave up.

17-Jul-07
A favourite place, the start of a few great tramps. Had to look fairly hard, passed over it about 3 times, and then - ah ha!!! Great little hide thanks.

03-Jun-07
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... spent 10 minutes searching for this one.... lots of cars in the car park but only a couple of muggles. Not sure if we just missed it or if it has gone missing in action. Was found yesterday OK but we gave the area a pretty thorough going over.
The GPS lead us up the Hawdon Valley and then across country on a track just below the tree line until we got to a dry riverbed from which we had to retreat. We found another track going down the the Andrew's valley road and got to the shelter eventually after about 8 km. cross country.

02-Jun-07
This was certainly worth the drive off the main road. Lots of muggles about. This cache was almost invisible from 1 foot away. Seached the exact spot for ages and didnt see it. Love these ammo boxes.
Took the cheese grater and dropped off a Canadian Geocoin

I have changed some of the information regarding this cache as I did not publish it correctly. It is our first so was probably a bit easy as well, with regard to the clues.

28-Mar-07
We were heading up the Waimak for some tramping, so why not call in to this cache on the way. Very easy find - too easy in fact. The cachebox was definitely too visible, so I gave it some more disguise with local debris. Then we got out of there fast, as sandflies ruled!!! - the wee dram + TB NavStar. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(802)

28-Mar-07
I may have inadvertantly dropped "Andys Yorkshire Geocoin" into this cache, or in the vicinity - if the next cacher finds it there (or nearby), please email me so I can record the "drop-in".

FTF Smile Our second FTF in the same area. Congratulations to Hannah and Grant, may the marriage and cache be equally long lived. Smile As I didn't have any swaps with me, I left the goodies in place. One of the items would have been wasted on me, and another not good for my belly... I am tempted to make a return trip if this doesn't get some visits soon, as it would be a shame for the items to be wasted.
TFTC.
