Found on way back from Sounds raid,. There was still parts of a book. I see that its now achieved, great place if another spot can be found to place the cache
Cache looks like it needs maintenance, log is burnt,no sign of TB that was logged into this cache.
Just finished mountainbiking the Queen Charlotte Track with friends, stopped in on the way back to Picton to find this cache,
walked past it twice before I found it,
when I opened the cache all I found was a burnt log page
think this cache may need some maintenance

We went almost straight to it. Wife's unit and mine were in agreement. The container was well concealed but upon opening it I found a charred piece of paper and a pencil. It looks as tho the local kids have found this and are playing with us. maybe it should be relocated.

Easy find but cache only contained a few singed log pages. Room to log on and it was worth the stop to visit this pretty bay. NINO
Came here in the early morning before there was any light except my torch. The cache was once again muggled and the log sheet had been burnt a bit? Quite strange. Returned to its hiding place and decided not to add a TB. Needs new log book at least, and probably new hiding place too.
the cache had been thrown in the bush, away from the site but i was lucky to spot it. the cotents had been burnt and it needs replacing.
We were driving into the area to do Cullens Gold when we realised we were not far from this one. Such a lovely afternoon we couldn't resist driving on to this Bay. GPS took us straight to GZ for an easy find. Signed the temporary log. TNLN TFTC
On our way to Picton to catch the ferry to the North Island. Already starting to get dark, so needed to use flashlights, but found it after a short search. TFTC.
Been to NZ with CruiseWolf and we've had fun looking for this one in the dark... TFTC!
Found easily and signed temporary log. Great bay, launched our boat and swam here while on holiday in the area. TNLN, TFTC.
Dropped by for this one on the way to catch the Ferry. Thanks to the cachers who left the temporary log book. A lovely bay. TFTC
2367. We found the cache quickly but it has been muggled recently. Cachers yesterday added a paper log which we duly signed. Apart from that it was an empty container with the geocaching note still attached to the lid. We found the sharpener lying in the grass and added a pencil.
This is a lovely peaceful bay.
Thanks

Just from the boat heading for this one. Nice bay to make a stop for a lunch. The cache was a BIG disappointment. Totally ripped . We made an emergency logbook. Hope it will not happen again, bastards.

We stopped to grab this cache, and decided not to go swimming. Changed our minds shortly after we left, found a different spot, and wished we had done it here! TFTC, great spot.
Another interesting cache during our visit to New Zealand from the UK. Nice easy find. Replaced the log book which had been lost when the cache had earlier been found empty. TNLNSL TFTC.

A beautiful drive to an awesome spot by the sea to spend a couple of hours with my nephew, paddling, hunting for crabs & scaring his Nana with worms. TFTC
A short stop while taking the long way home. Found it in the other one, much more logical than the first one I checked. +/- coin TFTC.
Quick find, nice spot, plenty of people here today, but no trouble with muggles. Grabbed I want to travel coin. TFTC
Back from our trip to NZ. Thanks to all owners for the nice hidden caches along the road, at interesting sightseeing spots or great spots away from the normal atractions. Greats from Germany, sc
I've found your cache!
Recently I had a bit of spare time in the upper end of the South Island and I managed to find a large number of geocaches. Unfortunatly due to an unexpected trip to Australia for family reasons I was called away from my Nelson adventures.... Now three weeks on I'm having to sit back and log the piles of caches that I did manage to find while I was down there. As there were a large number of caches, I've decided to throw in a generic log for all but a few of them.
Being a North Islander I was surprised at the sheer number of (glow in the dark) polar bears living in the upper South Island - I really didn't think it was that cold down there. And if I had of cottoned on eariler I could have traded for pretty much an entire chess set, one peice at a time. As it was I tended not to trade geo-junk but I did move a small number of geocoins around.
Of the caches I found I could not possibly choose a favorite but there are certainly both some challenging and very rewarding caches in the area. The best caches tend to be the ones where the owner has put in a bit of extra effort or extra thought into the challlenge and design of the cache, thanks to all those who did. I was pleased to see some new and interesting ideas around as well.
Warmest Regards,
Bobo.

Nice place for a cache! Found it with no trouble and saw the previous finders driving off as I logged our find. I had to laugh because we'd definitely been caught! TFTC; greetings from the USA!

Didn't have time to do this on the way over to the North Island, so it was first up on my return once I got off the ferry. Tried to give it a little more cover as it was somewhat exposed. Cheers Gav [2447]
Lynxc forgot to grab this one, so i will drop it in without having been there!
Indeed up and running. I thought I was FTF with a brand new cache and book, but no such luck. A nice spot when the wind wasn't blowing. TNLN Thanks.
Found it at 12.15 hrs.
When I was searching with my gps -knowing being at the right spot- a car drove by and a man asked: You are looking for a box? I: Affirmative. He replied: My boys have found one here-I will send them with the box. After 5 mins the boys showed up with the cache. I explained to them the game and that is was our secret. The contents was still intact. May be better to move it to another spot(I replaced in the old/same spot).
A nice story like this one you cannot make up!!

The hiding place for this one has been wrecked and it was the hiding place that made it special. So have decided the best thing to do is archive it.
Thanks to all those that took the time to find it.

Nice One!!!!!!!What a great spot for a cache site. They don't get any better. However, found the remains of an empty and mostly distroyed plastic container in the bushes behind the "objects" mentioned in the clue. The "objects" were well worked over by a mower and completely cleaned out. Sorry about that! Thanks for the visit to a great place.
Found a few likely spots but no cache - some evidence of hint items having been knocked about a bit. Nice bay though.
sweet,
after a weekend of caching I found this spot to be truly one of the most beautiful ever visited by myself.
I reckon it deserved the jupiter geocoin.

Dropped by and grabbed this one before the start of a weekend scallop diving. TFTC.
A very clever hide. Loved the spot, early on a Saturday morning. A four legged muggle to be avoided, but the camera was useful to cover the need to return the cache.

GPS was spot on so a very easy find despite the darkness of night! Took train TB as Jnr a Thomas fan - he slept through the whole cache however! TFTC
Staying in B&B not far from here. Wet day and not great for finding caches. Off to Welly on bluebridge later today. Leaving TB for someone else as we have enough to get rid off in north island.
First of the day (well it was still actually dark) after a very early morning arrival on Picton ferry.
Hope I didn't disturb all the camper vans in this no camping area
Good hide. Dropped off GO WEST Geocoin.
