Very interested spot, took us a good 10-15 minutes, the area is slightly overgrown and covered in geocaches, but managed to find with the family. All good with the cache, TFTC
Find 4436 on December 27, 2023 10:12AMFound on our holiday at Sale. Great piece of engineering. This one had us hunting for about 10 minutes. All is well with the hideTFTC nolife
Found this one a long time ago but set out to refind it with the fox and show him this awesome structure up close. Unfortunately there was some pretty serious maintenance going on and too many muggles to comfortably get out and search. More interestingly, the golf ball kind of looked like humpty dumpty after he took a fall with the kings men in the process of a rebuild! We’ll be back in a few weeks to try again!!
Always a good day when out caching and finding them. A clear day and found a huge wombat hole!
Thanks for the cache nolife

The last weekend of daylight savings - Time to head away for the weekend to the Latrobe Valley for some exploring, camping and caching with RoamingHowie.
Hate to have that thing come flying through the windscreen. Or try to hit it out of a sand bunker.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, nolife

It’s road trip time. With plenty of places out east that have yet to be explored, OzHockeyChick and I set off to see some sights in Gippsland.
As someone who has no interest in golf I was more than happy to visit this cache. An interesting site to visit.
Thanks nolife for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

A scenic driving day as it’s drizzly. Popped my newly-knitted beanie on my head and headed up the road. A couple of multis, an Earthcache, a virtual, a puzzle and a bag of trads...
The sign says no trespassing so I didn’t want to loiter here. Still, it took me a few minutes to find the cache in its circular hide. Quite tricky to spot.
As for golf ️ you’re gonna need a bigger club

Nope, didn't find the "metal nest" and by extension we didn't find the cache. Oh well, perhaps another time.
On a road trip with our caching friends to the Loch Sport and Seaspray area and to pick up a few caches along the way. After an extensive search around GZ with 4 sets of eyes we were unable to make the find. Maybe next time
We found this cache while on a road trip to Tasmania and our route was taking in this part of the country.
Found the cache no problem.
Cool 'golf ball!'

This was Suscoe's first find of the day.
It was coolish and windy but the cooler air had still not arrived here.
This one took us a while but finally we spotted the hide and signed the log.
Thanks to nolife for this hide.

Find # 10749
Found while travelling with sharkiefan, on an extended long weekend.
Today we headed south to Loch Sport, back along the Shoreline Drive, adjacent to 90mile beach. Had a quick visit to Seaspray then back to Sale for the Arvo. After dinner we headed out multi hunting, and got a couple of trads too . This put us up in Maffra and we finally got back to the Motel just after midnight.
First stop for the day and we weren't gunna be beaten. Took some time and sharkiefan made the greatful find.

This took ages to find. It wasnt until I spotted something and investigated that we made the find and then the hint made sense. Tftc

Gave this a 50 minute search. Need to keep riding to reach town before sunser. Not 1.5
Found it after a cold search. Looked in the wrong direction but found it shortly after. Was even too cold for the mozzies! Thank you, it was super fun.
I wandered around and around in the long grasses and trees being led astray by my less than accurate iPhone GPS until eventually I approached GZ from the correct direction and voila! there it was, just as the hint suggested!

After picking up a rare 'first to find' on the new 'wreck of the Trinculo' virtual cache at Ninety Mile Beach we were heading back to Sale to our accomodation for the night. We have one of these nearby in Truganina. A quick find from the right angle. Thanks for the cache nolife.

A bit of a detour heading to Sale, but one that was fruitful and the cache was soon in hand. Very barren in the paddocks across the road, with no grass visible anywhere.
Thanks for the placement here nolife, an interesting structure and well worth the drive here for a look.

Walked into spider webs and wasn’t too adventurous as we only had thongs on. Note to self .... always have spare solid shoes in car when hunting
WOW, this is awesome and you are right all golfers would be gob smacked with it. SL TFTC
Trying not to fall into the largest wombat hole I've ever seen, I began the search. This was a really tricky one, not a camouflage I'm used to and I only found it when I approached from a completely bizarre angle. TFTC nolife.
The geohusband has this worked out well before we reached gz. Super exciting site- caching at its best.
Found with michelleclerks and kids on way home from fishing had a good night fishing
Would like to say quick find but i was walking in circles for a while with this one. Almost ready to give up when going back to gz from a different angle i spotted the hint. Tftc. We came across here accidently as we wanted to find out what the big ball was then said we should put a cache here but someone already did lol
Quick find on a drive back to Melbourne. Ran into a wombat hole but no wombat. TFTC
I found this cache yesterday, my second time looking after the first time I tried I was thwarted by workmen. The coordinates had me walking around in circles but eventually I settled on the right place. The mozzies were bad however and I left with a few bites. I loved the golf themes swaps inside. Thanks for the hide, I've always thought they looked like giant golf balls too!
Took a bit of scrub bashing but finally had this one in hand with no mozzies. 1st for 2017 here. TNLN. TFTC. Scrappy_1
Would have loved to add this one to my happy faces, but not today as there was a few trucks with workers there. Will save for another day.
Easy find nobody around and only one mozzie to fight.. Tftc is it titleist or a Srixon ?
Saw the spot we assume this cache is hidden but grass was too long on this warm day so we decided to give it a miss.
Found it, nothing taken. Left a rabbit token. Toughy but a goody. Wet grass = wet feet
I was wondering what this might be. Got to remember the insect repellant! Took whale top, left plane. TFTC
Wow what a big golf ball, Thanks for sharing with us. We could see it from the road and then realised the next cache was right next to it. Grabbed a photo to log the trig as well. TFTC
Took the long way home from Sale today to pick up a few more caches, had no idea this thing was out here! Very interesting spot, and great to be able to park so close to the dome and get a good look. The co-ords were a bit jumpy for us but after a bit of a scout around we soon had the cache in hand. Noticed on the geocaching map page that the hill this sits on is called Deadman Hill.. wonder how it got its name?! SL, Thanks nolife
golf is not my game but geocaching is! Found after a little while as the bush is getting thicker TNLN TFTC
Great hide! Took a little bit to find as the compass was a little off but got there in the end took a gold tee and of course had to leave behind a golf ball

I have seen this in the distance but never up close. Impressive but no sign of the nine iron.

All quiet out here today. Thought it was more a soccer thing than a golf thing. no mossies thankfully. Tftc
Left this one up to caity22 and tjbucket while I minded geobaby in the car, away from the millions of mosquitoes!!
Always wanted to have a closer look at this thing nicest smelling cache ever!
Found on a family caching afternoon enjoying the last of the school holidays and sunny days. We have driven past here so many times and wondered what this structure was, and now we know! TFTC
Curiosity finally satisfied!
Interesting read, loved the 'metal nest', watch out for low hanging branches (they hurt, trust me!)
Many thanx to nolife

Me and Miss Plunderer hunted for this one. I wondered what we would find, looking for a "metal nest", hahahahaha.
Definitely not a golf course! Quite interesting to see this thing up close. TFTC
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we made our way to Paradiiise Beach using geocaching as our guide.
We found 11 caches and this was one of them. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

Getting to the GZ without a map gave us a bit of trouble but once there we made a quick find. TFTC
