DNF on this cache today. There is absolutely no way that this cache has survived the wet season at the start of the year and it needs archiving.
Damn, I think Maroon has flooded it. No one has logged anything since well before our beloved Maroon got full after 15 years of drought. I'm not Blue about it as Maroon has won the last 5 SoO's on the trot . Sorry about that Blues.
Would it be possible for owner to check this cache?
7 out of 8 for the day. Not bad for a couple of senior cachers. Picked some lovely mushrooms from the area surrounding the car park and had some for supper. Capped off a wonderful day.

Found this one after a fun little ride in a tinnie from our camp site at Maroon Cove. The GeoLads were happy to introduce some newbies to the sport with a nice easy find.
Collected the Dino TB.

Found this one during a short break from supervising kids at nearby education centre. Nice location for a picnic.
Definitely not a place to get marooned today… the place was very busy with lots of picnickers, and people boating and swimming. I guess that’s what you get when you come here on a beautiful Easter Saturday.
It was nice to see the dam almost full and the surrounding areas green and lush.
Thanks for the cache.

Found this cache with abseilqld, finally, after driving around for a little while trying to find the correct entrance.

More water than I have seen for along while in the dam. Water skied here when I was a teenager. I am sure that is why my knees ache now! TFTC
No 7 for today, after going to the wrong side we made it. Lots of skiers out today. TFTC
Great views across the Dam. Picked this one up while camping nearby with geobuddies the Holminators.

Hello to all the Collingwood Park year 7's looking at this cache as part of your camp (especially the koala group). Hope you are successful in finding the cache and your animals and have fun experiencing the world of Geocaching.
Found it after nice lunch at Duganden Hotel, Has good fire in winter.Out yoyo in frog.
Easy find after lunch with Urdera and ruzzelz, having just completed Summit to Do. TFTC - took TB.
Dropped in for lunch nearby. Amazed to see the other two cache teams stop to eat lunch before seeking the cache. I think they must have had a big day as it was not their form for the first cache of the morning.
Find 1005 - found easily after having a lunch stop after climbing Mt Maroon
Took - turtle

Our first night find! We stopped by on the way through after a day up Mt Lindesay. A good place to have dinner! Fires burning brightly up the side of what we thought was Mt May. Glad we're not going up there this time! Dropped off Autumn Bear so he can have a view of the lake in the day light.
We were here for a spot or orienteering and as the cache was on the map we didn't resist the opportunity to walk down the hill to log our visit. Didn't bring any swaps so TNLN but enjoyed the views - pity about the low level of the dam. TFTC.
Took glow bracelet left yo yo. Nice view but bit worried about spiders or snakes where cache was
this was our first find, good thing it was easy well....
five of us paddled from the other end of the dam in our canoe, going back was tough into a head wind, umm it was tough in bare feet, must remember shoes next time and make sure your three year old really wants to make the trip.
Josh 5yo was the leader, Jess 10yo, patch 3yo my mate stew and me 110_weeds. took two dice, left pen and soory about the scourer its still in my pocket. josh was happy as he seen it first.

Even spied one in the distance that i cannot wait to have a crack at very soon.

Yeah our first FTF, have spent many hours here at this dam and know it well so i had a very good idea where it would be so we did it at night. Easily found but still well hidden from view. Took dominoes and left dinosaur thanks for the cache.
