Logs
Forgot to log this one a while back. Nice puzzle that took me waaayyy too long to solve. Thanks HMF, very clever.
We had solved this puzzle ages ago but never got round to finding it. So today was the day. Of course we had to find the most difficult route and have put scratches on the new 4wd. Never mind we found the easy way home!!! Tfth.
Had a suspected location worked out long ago. Drove to a spot where we thought we could access the cache- no luck. Drove around to another likely access location- again no luck. Concluded that my mathematics was wrong and decided to come back in 6 or 12 months after re-checking, but now reading logs we may have been very close after all.... Another one in the list to be revisited.
Had this one worked out for quite a while but with previous logs refering to the mozzies in plague-like proportions, decided to leave it till winter. Finally decided that today was the day. Fun blatting around in the mud in the 4WD. Cache container is an absolute cracker too. TFTH
I had all the required digits all along, I just couldn't see them or how they went together.
I couldn't remember how to use the maths required to get said digits. I used Autocad instead.
No 4wd required today but due to recent rain, the tracks in were a bit chopped up and muddy in places. Had to backtrack once to get around one muddy spot.
No mossies today for me.

At last another one that was on my havn't found yet is completed. I have been puzzling over this from not long after it was first placed. It proved to be a simple cache when you relise how obvious the puzzle realy was. No mozzies and not a lot of Lantana either. I liked the cache container as well.
Just dropping off the TB.

Find number eight with geojez, another one on the way home. After this one we tried for another one close by but motor bikers had chosen that moment to congregate and stand around about 20 metres from the cache location. They did not look like cachers. Excellent cache, I thought we'd have trouble finding it in the lantana but it turned out to be quite easy to find or trip over even . TFTC.

We got the numbers for the puzzle quickly but it took us a while to work out how to use them.
We reached GZ at 1740. Fortunately the cache was easy to find and we were able to get back to the car before dark.
We were pleased to leave the Puzzle TB which was wanting a cache like this as its next staging post.
The log book is damp so it might be helpful if the next finder can put some silica gel in with the log book.
Thanks HawMorFords for another great puzzle cache.

Oh it's so painfully slow, my progress through the long list of 'HawMorFord' puzzle caches . Today, another success. There's an invoice for band-aids coming after the lantana. What a day to be wearing shorts [xx(]. Only good thing, apart from finding the cache, was the lack of mozzies. Don't know why, don't care. I think that might have been the toughest 60m of bush bash I've ever done. The GPSr was not happy in there and I believe someone/thing felt sorry for me as I came across the cache almost by accident . TN/LN/SL. Turned to leave and ... oh oh, no reception . TrackBack knows were the van is, but not where I am. The wide, clear path I created coming in seems to have regenerated immediately. Retracing my immediate path, I happily spotted some clear ground through the lantana. Phew. Oh, did I mention the lantana ...
I have all the numbers needed (I think)but cannot work out what combination they go in????
Of course! That's the first thing we worked out, but somehow its taken us all this time to realise it!
Lots of mozzies and lots of water around today, but a nice quick find.
Took fire engine, left a piece of coral.

We had worked out what we needed but just didn't realize it. We decided phoning a friend might put us on the right track. We found the cache quickly which is good because the mossies are still there . TNLN. Thanks HawMorFords
Found at 1500hrs with holster after a very pleasant drive. Great container but I hate lantana.

So that's what we're suppose to do with the information. After a push in the right direction, everything fell into place. Shame we didn't use some lateral thinking earlier but at least we can get this annoying little puzzle off our list. TFTC
Ok Scrub Bull wants bonus point for this one. I wasn't even looking for it when I found it, I was busy doing what I have been doing all this month when I found it. Thanks for the non hunt.
There was nothing quick about solving this for ruzzelz. After using all the instruments in the image I had the answer looking me in the face but I still needed a small hint to allow me to see what I was always looking at.
I found a geotrail about 20 m in and knew I was on the right approach. TFTC

Puzzle was quickly solved - spent much longer researching the best way of getting to cache, using Google Earth. Found an easy way there, and Womblywoo helped locate the cache. TF puzzle and cache. Picked up and dropped of a TB.
I've had the co-ords for this beauty for a while today I had the chance to nab it.I was with Mrs Womble no mossies today although I thing Mr H may hve shares in a near by car wash. We had lots of fun in the 4x4 today after the recent rain. The cache was easily located and all is well TFTC and the puzzle.
Don't you hate it when you forget to click on the travel bug you left in the cache.
2 suggestions for this cache- Don't wear a white shirt and don't let me navigate! Found today with mrshappyharries, after a tour of the local area

It wasn't just a matter of degress after all. First it was a matter of solving the puzzle. Fortunately, that proved fairly straight forward. Used the verification system to confirm our suspicions and were in business!
Then it was a matter of getting across to this side of town. A trip back to Brisbane proved to be the perfect excuse.
Then is became a matter of figuring our how to get near GZ. My mapping software doesn't know about many of the little forest trails through the area, so it became a matter of trial and error for a while!
Finally, we got close to GZ, and it became a matter of following the needle to the cache. Nice easy find - as previously mentioned, the coordinates are very accurate.
A small matter of filling out the log and choosing a swap. The GeoKid took a lizard and left a frog.
Thanks for another great cache! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole adventure.

This puzzle has been driving me nuts since it's release [:o]
Seemingly so simple!! BUT !!
Last week I headed up and down the Bruce and was tormented by the cache icon gliding by on my GPS display [:(!]
Last night at work was crunch time. I was heading for Bribie this morning and needed to figure this one out for the 'bonus' cache of the day
I finally figured this puzzle out this morning at about 2.00am
Well I am glad nobody was there to see my reaction to this fact
I could not believe how I missed the damn obvious [:o]
Just a few days ago I had posted a 'Blog' on the web about this very location [:o]
How on earth did I miss the solution for so long I will never know
Thanks HMF for a week of frustration, followed by a Dopey Slap of the First Degree [:o)]

I went to the approriate website to get a hint or to on getting to this one....
We seemed to have luck on our side and once on the tracks in, just drove to withing 60+ metres from the cache..
A warning to future cachers, the mossie warning should be heeded ANYTIME of the day.
Picked up TB's to move on.

Had this one worked out for some time. It's just been a matter of getting up this way. Luck...or maybe great navigation was on our side today. Drove up to within close walking distance of the cache.
What a great cache container! Needless to say the cache was dry and in great condition.
Heed the warning fellow cachers....take the mossie spray!!!
Took me less than a minute to solve the puzzle & I knew what was special about this place even before I visited it.
We were able to park relatively close to the cache & then had a short bush bash to get to the cache. Co-ordinates were absolutely spot-on and we found the cache in the first spot we looked.
We made a few swaps at GZ before rehiding the cache as we found it.
Thanks for this cache - a real classic!
