### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there RedPaw64,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Today is going to be at a bit slower pace than yesterday. The Inaugural Great Cache Crawl was a great success and made better by pulling it all together on short notice. It was also great to see how many people were able to attend on such short notice. Looking forward to what is to come.
We originally found this back in 2017 when I was still a muggle. As we were in the area today, I took the opportunity with RoamningHowie, to add my name to the log. The cache took quite some time to locate and is in extremely poor condition. The container was full of putrid smelling water that was black. The log is a mess also. Thanks for the cache but it could do with some maintenance unfortunately. Thanks for placing it and keeping it going for so long.

As mentioned by RoamingHowie, this cache is in extremely poor condition and really isn't able to be used. There is no salvaging what is still there.
After a huge inaugural Great Victorian Cache Crawl yesterday with well over 100 cachers joining the crawl throughout the day, it was time for a more leisurely caching journey today on the way back to Melbourne.
Most of the others had already found this one, so I gathered the required information and then set off to GZ (backtracking from where we had come). The cache lid is completely destroyed and the contents are not salvageable. This cache needs maintenance!
Thanks RedPaw64 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

buhfuhguh and I went around the bay again today, this time over to St. Leonards where an event and CITO were scheduled to occur around the middle of the day.
A few particular caches were targeted on the way there and back with plenty of fun had in between!
With both events finished up, we made our way north and stopped by this fairly old multi.
Interesting to see so many plaques and such at WP1; the necessary ones were sought out and the numbers noted from them where required.
A few calculations later and we had a pretty convincing gz in our hands.
We chose to take a stroll along the coast and were met with a muggle-free area at the coordinates.
I soon wandered into where the cache was hiding and spotted it right away.
Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, this one needs urgent attention - the lid has well and truly caved in and the Sistema now doubles as a full-time swimming pool.
Though that didn't take away from the lovely walk and interesting history of the area.
Thanks to RedPaw64 for placing this here!

Day plan: drag brain out west for his 3rd cito so I can get my 20th and finally tick off a certain countdown cache challenge on my side of the bay. What are the bonus's collecting some D5's and other odds and ends we get throughout the day, who could really complain.

Not sure if we did the maths right...
Our calculated GZ did not match the hint.
Thanks anyway, we had a nice walk from the maths to where we thought GZ would be!

Nice puzzle, lovely walk along the foreshore. Cache container lid is cracked and may need replacing to ensure contents stay dry. TFTC.
Can’t believe I actually worked out how to decipher these co ordinates and was surprised to see the log dates back to 2007! Wow! Tftc
After not finding initially, rechecked the maths, then all was good & cache in hand. It was half full of water though, so gave it a good draining & hopefully will be ok. Log is slightly damp. Tftc
Beautiful day for a cache!! A few muggles out on their bikes but had cache in hands soon enough. TFTC
We were out for our morning exercise. We had seen a spectacular sunrise and the geodogs had had a bit of a swim. There were a few people out and about taking their exercise, most were wearing masks, and plenty of dogs. We did realise that Geelong City Council has removed all the bins from the foreshore, which is a stupid idea, where are people supposed to put their rubbish, too many are too lazy to take it with them, so it gets scattered on the beach and washed into the Bay. We had worked out the location weeks ago, but have been carefully rationing caches close to home, so decided that we would pick this one up after our walk. If it was a warm enough day for snakes to be out and about, I'd suggest leaving this cache for a cooler day; the grass is indeed long. Thank you for this cache RedPaw64
Enjoyed all the maths, didn't take me too long to solve. Gained a huge appreciation for this beautiful but smelly section of coastline during my walk to GZ. Thanks for all the effort in putting this one together!
Found It..........While down in Geelong dropping off some parts we made the decision to head home via the Scenic Route and collect some caches on the way. After picking up a Traditional just down the road we pulled up here and started to collect the required info. After the sums were completed we had a set of numbers that looked promising so back to the car and soon after we were standing at GZ and after a quick search in between muggles i spotted something that looked like it needed further investigation and bingo. So with the log signed we continued our journey homeward. Thanks RedPaw64 for the cache
4 of The Famous Geo5 were out on our day off to head down to St Leonard's and Indented Heads to reach our target of 700 Finds. Perfect Weather for a bit of Hunting and this was due to be our last stop for the Day... Cache 700 hopefully. At first I was a bit put off by the Maths at first glance but taking a look again it was actually fairly easy and we were heading along the path again heading towards the Cache. I just double checked the Maths as I wasn't originally sure we were looking in the right spot but all was right so we looked a bit harder till I spotted something out. Not sure how this one doesn't have the snake attribute on it as we were a bit worried heading into Long grass like this but as Geo-Mum and I discussed that matter Geo-Emma decided she would get the job done a retrieved the cache her self. There it was, Our 700th Find, very happy with that considering a couple of years with very long slumps but so glad to be back into the vibe of things now and eyeing that 1000 hopefully within the next year (As long as things continue to improve on the COVID-19 front.)We signed the Geo-Em went back to replace it and we headed back to the Car heading for Geelong.
Thanks RedPaw64 for bringing us to a lovely spot with such amazing views

Came along here with ilook4geo and found the numbers that were needed to work out the co-ords for GZ. Soon headed off to find the container, which was easy enough. Noted both names on the log and replaced all as it had been found. Thanks go to RedPaw64 for placing this nice easy multi cache.
Decided to do this multi cache with goingplaces2 and the numbers worked out well. Found the cache and signed the log. All good. TFTC.
What a nice walk along the coast. Got the coordinates and off we went. Found the cache after a short search. Thanks for the hide and for highlighting the area Left a TB.
This morning was a nice cool Boxing Day morning on the bellarine. Today is the start of the holiday crew heading down from Melbourne for the Christmas holidays. Tftc
We saw that the last two logs were DNF's and due to this we nearly didn't attempt this cache but we were there and decided to collect the information anyway. If it was missing this meant we had a final that we could come back to. Once we had the new final we could not help ourselves, we were driving past it anyway, and went and had a look for the cache and, voila, there is a cache container right on our new GZ. The cache container is certainly in place.

Found while in Geelong and doing lots of caching with teamashy. Always stop here as it is a good area to find Ruddy Turnstones (waterbirds). Saw the multi and headed to get the info. Got what was hoped to be the right coords and headed off. Spotted some Ruddy Turnstones while walking!!! Got to GZ and soon had cache in hand
Picked up TB. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
A fav point for spotting the bird nearby!

Having done the maths a few years ago today was the day to find it. A nice quick walk and a quicker find. Tftc!!
Dropping off tb and reading log book for memories of the crazy night when l did this one years ago
In the area to pick up some caches and WPs. This was a nice straightforward multi - even with the maths that I’m so bad at! A quick find at GZ. Tftc
Spending the night at Anderson's reserve, Indented Heads, thought we would come this way for a weekend of Caching. TFTC
Really enjoyed this cache got my brain thinking

Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for a fun cache. We signed the logbook FETT.
Found on a short, post-Christmas sojourn to Victoria with Freddo, Team Waldron and thewhitedoggang that involved plenty of driving, cycling, walking and even some boating and wading.
The weather was on our side (albeit a little warm at times), which made for some great caching. There were plenty of varied finds, with some excellent and often tricky hides and and just a few DNFs. We signed most logbooks ‘F.E.T.T.’
Thanks RedPaw64 for the cache.

With the threat of a scorching day, we decided to head out early for a few caches. Doing the math was a simple chore... the waypoint was steaming and taking its toll.... come up with the goods. Tftc
Down this way on a voyage and decided to pick up our streak find for today while we were here. Visited the monument with the eldest GeoKid and had an impromptu history lesson. I did the maths while she played on the playground and then made the short trip to GZ. TFTC.
Data collection for this multi was straightforward. After working our way through the calculations, we had a set of coordinates for GZ. We headed off where accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks RedPaw64 for the cache.
Pretty miserable day so when the intial sums just weren't adding up we bailed. Maybe on a nicer day

Today I headed to the other side of the bay with biggles1024 so that we could attend a few of the annual Christmas events.
By now we had attended the 3 events we had planned and now it was time to find some other caches.
This one took our interest so we set about calculating where GZ is, after a while going through all the numbers, we finally had GZ so off we went.
We arrived at GZ and it was only a short time before Mark had the cache in hand, we then signed the log.
Thanks for bringing this historic site to our attention, I know that I have been passed here before but I had never stopped to see what this memorial was all about.

We managed to slip down the coast to attend some of the traditional geofunctions as well as catch up with family.
After Mr Morris dried off from his dive we headed around the coast for some scenic views and some more local caches. A nice little multi that didn't get much attention today. Container is a bit soggy but log is nice and dry.

Calculated and found in the company of +Wife, OzHockeyChick, 4BNinjas, Papi4506 & GeoTurtle37. What a team! [^]
A most unusual way of deducing the final coordinates but we were on it!
Arriving near GZ the search began. Cache found rather quickly and signed by all.

Today, I headed to Geelong with Stemicmitsar (Steve) to attend 2 events and a CITO as well as finding some other caches of interest to us. We decided to take a short break and spend a night down in Portarlington. Having checked into the Caravan Park, we headed off to explore the coast - via some caches of course.
We quite enjoyed this multi as it took us to an interesting monument. We carefully gathered the required numbers and then headed off to find the cache, which Chunk located after only a couple of minutes searching.

Down here from the NSW central coast visiting family for the Easter period. Our trip takes us via Mt Buffalo, Violet Town, Lorne, and Ballarat. As usual we have thrown in a load of geocaching for the trip including a selection of multis, unknowns, and trads to help us with a few challenges we are chasing down, plus we have been going after some more high D/T squares on our P81.
Enjoying the walk along Half Moon Bay this morning when we came across this multi. Took down the information and did the calcs but the "YZZZ" label confused us as it had us expecting to get a value of 7555 or 8111 or something along those lines. Plotted our answers anyway and our calculated coords turned out bang on in what is actually a very appropriate spot as this happens to be where they believe aboriginal artifacts assoc with John Batman's generosity to these peoples are located. We SL and dropped *Bruce The Shark* TB as he is apparently travelling the coasts but we are heading inland tomoz. TCTC, RedPaw64.

Interesting history lesson here. Oh dear, hope our Maths is right. Yes it was! Lovely hiding spot. TFTC
We worked out the the cords and made our treak to GZ. Was quick to find cache TFTC.
After spending the afternoon caching caches in St Leonards and Intended Heads We finished of the evening attempting this one.
While at WP1 we tried crunching all the numbers just using notes on our phones but ended up getting a little confused because of just how many were involved. So I took photo's of the plaques and retreated to the car for paper and a pen to do the maths.
Neville_Devil read out the numbers of the plaques while Miss15 read out the notes from the cache page and I put pen and paper to work.
After the numbers were crunched I had what looked like a likely GZ and we drove off for the hunt by torch light.
We managed to park a short walk away from GZ. The GPS coordinate were good it brought me straight to the right area and in the first place I look I came up with the good.
Log was stamped, dated and all returned to it hiding place.
Thanks RedPaw64 for the nice little multi and a new smiley to our map

First ever geocache! Nephews and nieces loved the hunt. Thanks and hope this is the first of many more. Great fun!!
Cruisin around the area today, so I decided to have a go at this multi. I have had my eye on this for quite a while, but I don't have the best of luck with this cache type. Gathered some numbers and headed off, nope that's not right, I'm not swimming out there !! C'mon David, think about it and have another go. Went through the numbers a bit slower, making sure to double check.
Ok, that looks a bit more plausible. Off I go to GZ, well the hint certainly matches the location. I was very careful about where I put my hand here. After a bit of a search, I spotted the prize. Woo Hoo !! Thanks for an enjoyable stroll around this beautiful part of the world. TFTC RedPaw64

It was a great cache, HEAPS of fun to solve the start and a great time finding it too. Thanks for the cache
Staying in nearby Queenscliff with the hubby and 4 & 6 year old geokids and today we went exploring. A nice little multi here. We drove up to GZ and soon had cache in hand. Thanks for the cache
Hubby found this one while I was wandering up and down near the bushes as I did not have appropriate footwear.
Hurts to drive past trads but I want multis today.
This was another multi that worked first time for me and I really like that. No ambiguity in the questions meant I had GZ worked out and then headed off for the find not too far away.
We used to camp close by when the kids were little and the name sounded familiar but I didn't make the connection straight away.

consultation with those wiser and cleverer than me, soon had much better numbers than the ones I had here on my last visit. These led mr straight to the cache. Loved the history lesson TFTC RedOaw64
Sad face here as after visiting that amazing and mostly unknown memorial there seemed to be no,way I could calculate a GZ that didn't require a swim. That wasn't right. Don't know where I'm going wrong but I thought I was being very careful in doing all those transpositions I have all the numbers and a photo of the plaque so I can keep on trying. Maths was never my strong point and now decades later what I did learn has all but gone. Enjoyed the area and stunned by the memorial. Thanks redPaws64
I visited the first waypoint last night to collect the clues, worked out the coordinates this morning and after watching a few games of footy with the inlaws took my youngest to what I thought was gz. It took some searching but got there in the end. Tftc and a nice piece of history.

Out this way playing with the new dive gear on the ozone today - well weight testing really - and thought we'd fit in some caching as well. After picking up ThePacman's ? cache nearby we wandered back to work on this cache. A nice simple multi that we managed to get first go... for once! Thanks RedPaw64 for the interesting history lesson here.

Windy day on the bay, and decided to try this one with geowife, a reluctant cacher. Bumbled our way through the maths and headed off to gz. Searched vigorously 15 metres away but when eXplorist settled down got to the spot. Aforementioned geowife promptly says "here it is" whilst I'm burrowing away nearby. She's getting closer to being a genuine cacher. Thanks for a very good puzzle, difficult enough for us oldies.
With pen and paper in hand we headed over to get the necessary information to find GZ. Being non muggle season and later in the evening we were lucky not to be disturbed in our rummaging search and subsequent finding of the cache container.
Thanks RedPaw64 for the placement here and showing us another commemorative plaque we didn't know existed.

Great one! Good clues, easy enough to walk the kids through it, but still challenge enough to be fun for Mum
TFTC! Lots of fun goodies too!

Find #414. Down this way today to buy some mussels from my skipper brother, and thought I'd add a few more smilies to my map. Interestingly, I never knew much about John Batman. However due to the fact that last weekend was the Australia Day weekend I did learn that for a short time Melbourne was known as Batmania! (Never knew this before) I enjoyed the area quite a lot. I grew up in Drysdale. But as this town is so small I have never really explored this area. I gathered the information needed and headed off to GZ. Pretty quite now that the "silly season" is over. Thanks for the cache!
Co ordinates were slightly off
But after some bush bashing and scratching around cache was soon in hand!

We always enjoy doing these older caches and got a kick out reading Bushfires FTF log. Did the math and decided to walk to GZ, enjoying the fine weather and taking the opportunity to dip the toes in the pleasant water. Good coords lead straight to the cache and it was nice to find a big container for a change. TFTC
My first geocache! Very fun puzzle to figure out – took us a second go to get the right place. Thanks to dad and Chris for coming along!
Left a small Vicaccess key tag with our names on it. Thanks Bob and son!

Finally had a chance to grab this while in the area. Gathered the required info and went over to the playground area to work it out so little miss 5yo could have a play. Worked it out and let her have a little longer play before driving over to GZ. Parked not too far and treked on over to GZ to make the find
Thanks RedPaw64 for the cache

Found Pulled the Geo mobile close to where we needed to get the numbers. Once that was done, we moved the car to the playground so the kiddies could have a play. I sat and worked out the numbers while the slide was being used overtime Once the kiddies were tired and the cold windy started, in the car we went for the short drive to collect this one. It wasn't the easiest to find at first as I circled a little but once I searched deeper, the hide reveled itself

After doing the nearby puzzle cache we thought while we were here. Arrived at co-ords and found a lovely location and a fascinating monument. After using a wad of paper doing the math we soon had a set of numbers in hand, after a short drive the hunt commenced after about 15 mins we widened the search out to 10 metres and found the prize in hand, thanks for the history lesson.
Worked out the puzzle and soon had cache in hand co-ords are very accurate I think someone has taken TB and not logged as taken it as it is still showing that it is in the cache Thanks redpaw64
Doing the puzzle to get the co ordinates was good fun. It wasn't to hard to find but was well hidden from muggles.
