Thanks to the people who have owned up to a DNF.
Three in a row and something seems to be amiss. I checked the cache location after work this afternoon and the cache is indeed missing.
Even though I also pushed pine needles around I never saw any sharps, but as they have been reported a few times, I think this place should probably be left the those less than desirable.
The cache will not be replaced, so I would like to thank everyone who took the time to find this cache.

Have to agree with the others. I search thoroughly through the rubbish and disguarded stolen items. Why do we rubbish so much.
Checked the area and even read the clue, but alas it seems to have disappeared!
I think this has been muggled. Parked in western carpark - 2 metres from GZ (no other cars around for it after the 5pm). Extensive raking in and around that tree and fence revealed only some SHARPS and other rubbish. EVERONE TAKE CARE: Beware there may be other SHARPS still there as this secluded site is obviously used by druggies.
Searched the area pretty thoroughly. Had to be super carefull as there were plenty of discarded needles in the pine-needles. Hope it's still there & I just lucked out!
We found this in company with Scytale whilst visiting the pumping station.

Quick find after a visit to the nearby facility. Great fun both. The kids had a ball.
The first find after a number of unsuccessful attempts today. This carpark is getting a bit worse for wear these days, cleared away most of the rubbish from GZ.

Quick find, location interesting, loads of rubbish about. The Tomtom took me through the back streets of oil refineries to get here. Quick sign and I was on my way. Thanks for the cache. ZZ7

After visiting Science Works just for something different to caching every weekend, we still couldnt resist seeing what was around here .. nice easy find TFTC
We found the cache easily enough, but as we were signing the log book we were approached by a security guard from a nearby facility who asked a couple of questions about what we were doing and how long we'd be here. We explained that we were a part of scavenger hunt and showed him the harmless log book etc. He seemed to be satisfied before continuing on, but he certainly is aware of the cache location.
An reasonably quick find in the dark despite being questioned by a security chap from the other side of the fence. We fessed up and he seemed ok.

2008-04-01 12:41 After spending the morning at Science Works we wandered up the road to find this cache. Walked to the hiding spot and spied the treasure that awaited for us. Paperwork done and the cache returned we set off to find some more caches. No swaps today. Regards Crisp Image.
There were no muggles around, when I was looking for this cache. I could even park my bike right in front of GZ.
This one popped as we were making our way to another cache. Found easily, despite the (other) dodgy looking couple parked nearby.
I used to love coming here with the kids when they were younger. Thanks for reminding me of a lost era, caughtatwork.

A relatively easy find this evening - the place was deserted! Took 2xTB's, left dinosaur and bionicle. TFTC!
We were searching for about 20mins on the wrong side of the park. I'll have to come back to scienceworks for a proper visit of it's exhibitions

Didn't take too long to find. There was a family about to go into the attraction, and mr 4 Yo was "cracking and sad" about something, much to the frustration of mum and the annoyance of dad. But that meant they never looked in my direction!
Nice size container and well stocked to boot.

A quick check of the cache and all is well at the correct location. I'll add another bit of clue for those who need it.
I found this cache tonight for caughtatwork who had to check it was still there. Thank you daddy

We found our 48th Caughtatwork cache at 12:15pm as the 3rd of 13 on our Williamstown or Bust Tour. Not many people around today making the search easy with the hint. This cache could just as easily be called Ariums of Planet. Thanks for the cache from D & H B-A.
With my GPSr display spinning like a top I had to resort to actually looking for the cache! Easier to find after closing I think. Took coloured pencils, left AA energizer batteries.
Thanks for a great cache.

Found by Roma and Max.
We approached these posted co-ordinates by what is obviously the back door, but then again there was much more parking available here than the other side where there wasn’t a spare space left to be had. The nearby venue is a very popular place at weekends
Our receiver wanted us to search in one spot but we were much relieved to find you container wasn’t located there!
We try to practice cita, but this first spot was far beyond our capabilities.
In: Mondo Figurine.

Found the goods in my lunch break - only 10min walk from work. Schools back and being a weekday the place was deserted. I took a rubber lizard and left a button badge. Thanks for the adventure.
Tried doing it first with the TomTom (inaccurate GPS) and no luck...then switched to GPS Tuner and found in no time flat...no cars in area, nice easy find! TFTC

Dropped by Williamstown to knock over a few caches after dropping Samantha at work.
Must not have been the best weather for Scienceworks... that or it's a weekday... so the car park was extremely empty, and I was able to park nice and close to GZ for an uninterrupted search.

Found 200706111550 . After losing the family in Scienceworks and being overwhelmed by the number of muggles infesting the place, it was good to take a break on the way back to the car and make an easy find of a typically well stocked c@w cache

Just as I arrived, it began pouring with rain. The GPS was pointing to the centre of the road, so I backed up a couple of times to try to get a better bearing. Within a couple of minutes the rain ceased, but the GPS still pointed to the centre. Checked both sides before coming up with the goods.
I didn't see much rubbish, but it was dark. I heeded the warnings by previous cachers and prodded around using a stick. Thanks for the cache.

While on a bike hike with 17th Essendon we decided to tackle this one, with the area being fairly quiet on a Saturday morning. The search took a bit longer despite resorting to the clue, but eventually we had success. Another well-stocked caughtatwork cache (which impressed the geoscouts); took bubbles and left hammer (this is aassociated with a long story but the singer of the Kazakhstan National Anthem was present for its finding and its leaving) and a plastic slinky toy.
Third cache of the day on a bike hike to Williamstown. Nice to find a good collection of goodies in this cache, which required a bit of a search. Took bubbles and left hammer (which came from the Scouts' first ever cache find at Anglesea, where it was found by the singer of the Kazakhstan National Anthem who was also present today) and plastic slinky toy.
We were passing by here tonight and thought that this would be the ideal time to attempt this cache. We pulled up next to a totally deserted gz. Once the gpsr settled the cache was quickly in hand

It had just gotten dark and I managed to park right in front of gz. In the car headlights I could see a (unused) syringe so I poked around with my foot and soon found the neatly hidden cache. With the logbook completed I rehid the container and manged to safely move the other item, but future seekers should still be careful! Thanks caughtatwork.
Thanks for the warning Maccamob, I was very careful where I poked my stick. With the cache uncovered it was safe to get the hands in. Wish I had some swaps with me as there were a couple of goodies to be had. BTW, I love this location and all like it, if only the school could afford the regular bus trips!

My 1st unsucessful hunt! As lots of people have said, there's tonnes of junk, syringes etc nearby (a least I think it's nearby) so take care. I might have another go tomorrow with a little more time and some sturdy shoes/gloves.... why do junkies seem to be drawn towards caches?! .... till next time
Found by Bob at 1325
My TomTom lead me in the back way to the carpark and I was able to park my bike about 10m from GZ. As with others, I had some problems - my GZ was in the middle of the road and the clue, which indicated the type of hide, didn't really help with the "where". I too discovered the rubbish dump, but didn't think C@W would put it there and I also checked out the true hiding spot, but passed it up initially because there were a couple of syringes there (and I was sure C@W wouldn't deliberately put it near them!). A subsequent recheck revealed the cache, but I urge future finders to use a stick/gloves when searching - the syringes I spotted were within 1m of the cache and where there are 2, there are likely to be more .
I've never been inside Science Works, but I would really enjoy it I'm sure - I just have to convince the family to take me .
TNLN, but did take the Dragon Master Geocoin which maccamob had deposited earlier today, and left Jack's Mississippi Geocoin.
Thanks C@W

Found by Mary & David at 1155. David had visited here several times in the past with our children. Perhaps not quite as good as Questacon in Canberra, but still an amazing building with history. Took pony, left pack of coloured pens. Also collected TB 'Night Out with the Bald & the Beautiful', and dropped off 'Dragon Master' geocoin. Beware of syringes around GZ - we saw a couple not far away. Our thanks to caughtatwork.

A great place to visit at 5pm as the carpark was deserted and I had the search area to myself. Once GPS settled down an easy enough find. Nice to find a big cache too in an urban setting. Thanks c@w.
Thirty-second cache find for the day in company with dak’s Emu Mob. We had been on one of our usual Wednesday assaults this time we were on the way home from Geelong and the Bellarine peninsula. [Last of twenty-eight finds in company with acts2youthgroup on our usual Wednesday assault. We had been down to the Bellarine Peninsula for the day, but couldn't resist diverting to this one on the way home. It was drizzling rain, and this might have affected GPS signals, so we had a bit of trouble finding this one. Both of our GPSRs pointed us to a certain place, but we couldn't find the cache there. We decrypted the hint, but couldn't divine the meaning of the word] lone. [Acts2YG decided to look further afield, and found the cache at 2315. My GPSr said 12m to go. Found today by Mr Emu @ 1.25 p.m., GAFF3. The car park was so empty that I would have looked odd if anyone had driven in, but I was all on my own here today. Just as well, because it took a bit of hunting to find this one even with the clue.
