No luck on this one, and it hasn't been found recently. Thanks for bringing me here.

Big hill drive to the location. Council cleaning up the area and moving big rocks around. Found it anyway - think it was dislodged. Views of far distant Lake Wivenhoe.
Taking a break from cycling the rail trail series, thank goodness we were on 4 wheels not 2 to tackle this cache, crazy big hill!
Thanks to CO’s for taking time to set out and maintain hides and for showing us your very special part of the world

Heading to QOGM 2022 Charleville
Found whilst on a very non direct route to QOGM - Charleville 2022. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Rogainer

I was, as usual, looking in the wrong spot. Gave up and was headed back to the car when it caught my eye.
Quick search but lots of long grass, warm day, council workers at site so have decided to leave this one for now.
Found on the 2nd January 2021. It was the day we spread my fathers ashes. I cannot believe we had this levity in the proceedings to grab a few caches, yet I did not log them.
We drove to this one and I could not believe this hill. I imagined the local kids on skateboards all zooming down the slope. The cache was found by one of my brothers, from memory.
Thanks for the comic relief on an otherwise very sad day. TFTC!

Found it buried under grass eventually. Stabbed random spots until I heard the rattle.
Found this today with our dance friends after a workshop at the Somerset civic centre. This one almost had us beat, even with a tribe of 5 kids. My GPS was a bit off and turns out we were looking deeper into the vegetation than we needed to. Grabbed sticks and poked around, lots of overgrown grass, eventually a blind stick poke hit something that sounded plastic and victory was ours! A wonderful day with friends, and we now have some new converts to geocaching. We traded some items, left some behind. TFTC
Our plan was to visit the Esk fair then get some more smiles in the area.
Nice find and an oldie too.

This one messed with my head. Overall a good find with Binkybelle. Another Anzac Day special . We will remember them
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(Ha Ha). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

We didn't have time to do all the caches in and around Esk so we put this one of our short list because of it's age. Thank you for placing it and maintaining it for so long. Wish we had visited when the fair was on although then I would have had heaps of time whilst Geoturtle looked around.
Another old cache. One of my favourite types. Thanks for keeping it going for so long. Great little town. Hoping we can come back. (Hopefully when the fair is on)
Found at 1:48 PM GAFF5.
Met up with maccamob while we were having lunch in a rest area in Esk and then met up again at this cache just ass David was about to return the cache
Thanks Rogainer.

Have been through Esk so many times but have never detoured up here. Time to change that, nice view up here! Tftc
We had been to the local bakery and sat in the local park for lunch. Once finished, kids went to explore the playground with slides and the ever popular flying fox. Found a shady spot to watch and then checked the app to see what might be close by. Not many traditionals around, but heaps of mystery caches. Then spotted a cache in another park. After we wrapped up the play time, we made a quick detour up the hill for the park with the views. No one else was about so the search began. Arrow took us into some foliage, so the challenge was to find the best route. Spotted a couple of geo trails and soon we had spotted the container. Trying ( not very successfully) to avoid the stinging nettles, we soon had the cache in hand. Used the provided pencil to chalk up another find. All good with this cache. Everything replaced and a little camouflage applied, and we were on our way. thanks for the cache Rogainer.
Out with Team Tyrrell again today, we had just finished the art series and then decided to grab a few others in town. This one was a fun one to grab, a little drive up a very steep hill to an open park area that needs a good mow. Turns out this one is part of the art. While I searched in the long grass team Tyrrell yells out got it and just reaches his hand in, doh.
With the log signed and the container replaced we were off to the next one in the area. All good with this cache and thank you for placing this one here.

I dropped my husband at Esk races and went for a drive to collect some smileys. This was my last find for today and I have been here once before with no luck so I was prepared for a long search but low and behold I spotted this cache in the second place I looked. Some days you get lucky. Great place for a cache. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy .
Too many cobbler pegs, spent an hour picking them off. Good luck for next person.
Have been cycling on the BVRT for a few days and are heading home today so headed up the hill to look for the cache. Not a great day for a view with all the smoke in the air, still we had the park to ourselves and spent some time before coming up with the cache.. TfTC
3 times it took to find it but now we eventually found it very easy when you think about it
From very near GZ... A glimpse of the" LAKE" and a extremely dry landscape !!!Thanks Rogainer.... all AOK with the cache.
This is my second visit here but looking for the cache in daylight hours is a way better option than at night.
Picked up TB and dropped two off.

Love the spot. Walked from town. Just a bit of a hill. Leaving a little something behind
Nice spot for a lookout. Previous notes gave us a good idea of where to start looking. First geocache for us in a long time and first ever for our toddler she loved it. Moving on Muriel gs non travel bug.
Had a bit of trouble getting the phone to settle on the direction to GZ...maybe the towers . In the end an easy find. What a lovely spot that I never knew existed.
Cache is healthy and dry.

TFTC. teaming up with snakepiters for the next lot of geo art that we had solved together after completing roses today we were both so close to next milestones we had to keep going!
Completed the Roses Geoart at Kilcoy and needed a few more for us to meet our next milestone, so we came here to pickup the Coat of Arms series that we have solved. With Cheekybum_15.

Last time was up here, was running late and so couldn't get a 'quick find' and instead a DNF
This time I had plenty time to look, and found it within seconds .. !! ...
Sometimes I reckon the GeoGods just like to have a bit of a laugh at us.
All good .. TFTC ..

In Esk on a impromptu adventure as our original plan had been cancelled at the last minute.
Precarious park at the edge of the road, quite a slope into the park. A very distant view, a bit hard to see on this misty overcast day but we did catch a glimpse of water.
Headed into the scrub, too far, following trails, geotrails?, no must be hare trails, back around, checked photos - ahaa, here's some of those, no wrong ones...more lantana, ouch spiky, just not getting it, wait... here it is comes the call from J - I was close! I think the fallen tree was the distraction.
Don't often see a pink one.

After a quick jaunt on the rail trail we had lots of time up our sleeves. We had made a really early start so there was plenty of time left in the day to get home and admire my freshly mown lawn. Our pace on the ride had quickened as well so we needed to put in some more effort to justify our lunch.
What could be better than avenging a DNF? Well possibly getting an extra shot in your coffee for free but not much else.
I was buoyed that there were plenty of finds since our DNF 20 months ago and I was prepared to take as long as needed, provided it didn’t get in the way of my appointment for a blue rise and perm. It was actually a previous photo that made this a quick find for us and we could no longer delay the inevitable: lunch. tftc

TFTC! What a beautiful spot up here! Took me like forever to find this one. Of course I made it harder for myself by going through the lantana!
This cache took a little while to find but after a few scratches obtained during the hunt, the cache was eventually found. This cache was the last cache to complete the Geo Art series of caches in the area put out by Brother Colin.

This one took some time as a tree has fallen across gz. But after some digging around found it
Took awhile to find. Cache found for CDAH55 OCD to finish heart picture
Tricky down to earth hide. So glad we didn't try to cycle up the hill. Soloroadknight tried to cycle up yesterday but failed.
I’d always been keen to visit this one. The nearby mountain is named after some of my dads relatives.
Nf had been here before so 1mm and I started looking and looking and looking.
Eventually nf joined us and 1mm found the cache just after that. We were making it harder then it needed to be.

Returning to Brisbane from Toowoomba via Esk with NyssaFlutterby and Wombles&Co, we headed up the big hill, against one munchkin's wishes - anyone would think we were suggesting walking up there! - and soon arrived at GZ, getting a giggle out of the name of one of the properties on the way up and enjoying the cleverly crafted letterbox at the bottom of the dip.
Once at GZ it was a little tricky to find. Looking here and there, Wombles and I came up with nothing, and eventually had to resort to logs to help us. Not long after that we managed to make our find.
Thanks for the cache Rogainer.

Awesome lookout that we have been to a few times before but did not know of the hunt! Great little spot to have a yummy burger and pie from the esk bakery and the place the container is situated is in a tricky but yet visible spot! D&B
A challenging cache. Thanks Ms Maddy for the helpful pic. TFTC .. a great intro for my nieces.
An easy find after reading previous logs. Views have faded over the years due to growth of vegetation but still a nice spot.
2 Wallabies in the park when we arrived.
Left a tb.
Thanks

There's no hint for this cache, but if there were it might be: "near where the lake view is the best, there you'll find the treasure chest." Earned ourselves a fair few scratches hunting for it...
Lovely sunny morning in Esk and a fairly quick find here
Logged in the company of previous finder, Ruzzelz, who failed to find the cache this time It wasn’t an intuitive find but the pic should help.
TFTC Rogainer! Looks like Esk is a clean map
