All wet, but found a tag!! Nice camouflage tactics lol! I suggest decent footwear too.
Found during couple weeks adventure from Tom Groggin beginning to Murray Mouth end of the Murray River. On our way to Yack but detour for Schmidt's Strawberry winery. Log was a bit damp, but OK. TFTC
Why is it I am always wearing thongs in terrain like this? I have swam out here years ago. SL TFTC
Found it all exposed, 5m from GZ according to my dodgy smartphone. When I say exposed I mean totally uncovered and not in a hiding place. After signing the log I applied a little camouflage In the way of some sticks and leaves, rather than add to any creep that has already occurred.
I needed a cache to keep my consecutive days streak going. Have thought this a good backup run incase I failed elsewhere, tonight it happened. A DNF near by and running out of time tonight, I quickly dropped in for the easy find and sign here. Nice peaceful spot here.

Got that ole travel urge again and the need for some new uncharted places. So Victoria here I come. Travelling down the Hume Highway to Tumblong, Tumit, Batlow, Corryong then on to Albury. and all points South to the HCRT Series, and also find other caches on the way. Found while wending my way home . Great Cache, TFTC

Boys stopped for a fish so geokid & I went exploring. Looks like a great spot for a swim when the weather warms up. TFTC - we'll definitely b back.
I wonder if we went the hard way to this cache? It was dark and we had no idea which angle to tackle this one. We then got to within 70 mtrs of it in the car then Mum and Son went forth for the find. At GZ the cache was soon located by Geoson.
Thanks DazRascal for the hide. We will be sure to check this spot out in summer.

Nice waterhole. The cache has a missing clip. I rigged up a stick to wedge it shut and hopefully keep out water, but the cache needs replacement. TFTC.
I decided not to swim this morning
It was way too early and too cold
But after a short stroll I had warmed up a bit and could start searching for the cache.
It took me a good 10 minutes before I finally spotted the cache
A nice spot to start the day though [^]

The day was sunny, but the water chilly but still a hardy soul was in there swimming. Not for me. I trudged through all the feral lavender to the cache being very wary after my snake experience at the previous cacheTFTC
While Bigfoot Yak did a spot if fishing, we went in search of this cache. GPS jumped around a bit because of the trees but it didn't take too long for Youngyak to put his hand on it. TFTC TNLN
I'll have to remember this spot come summer. Enjoyed the walk into the cache, when we arrived at GZ the cache was in the first spot that came to my mind, and the last spot i looked, as seems to be the way so often.

Nice quick find during Mr. Lost Wanderers day off. Thanks for the hide. Too cold for a swim today.
Ventured down this way from Tallangatta as the day was fantastic and my missus likes to visit the town nearby because of its great big name (Tangam).
This is a fantastic part of the world, and I have never visited the area of the 'Ol Swimhole' before, and once I arrived it was surprising that there was nobody there enjoying the location.
Parked the 'Black Bus' nearby and made the short stroll to GZ. The GPS was having trouble settling but before long we located the cache, and we SL at 4pm. TNLN.
The container looks like its done it hard, and when I clipped the lid back on one of the clips broke off. I had nothing available to replace it for you unfortunately, but I don't think it's a desperate fix. TFTC DazRascal.

This is a great location. We didn't realise there was public access to the lake here and we're always happy to find another place to have a paddle. It was a nice stroll around the lake, although it looks like some yahoos have been doing a bit of 4WD practice on the bank. It took the GPS a while to settle so I decided to use the clue. That made things very straight forward and the find was quickly made. TNLN, SL. Thanks for putting a cache here DazRascal, we will be back in summer!
Found after a short walk around the bush. It looks like a magic spot to cool off in summer, just a couple of muggles out and about but posed no hassle. Nice area thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
As I was admiring the idyllic surroundings, I realised I was just about standing on the cache container. Took die (dice), left 2 Aussie Byrds. Cache # 1,187.
A few people fishing nearby today, but out of sight of cache. No swimmers though. Thanks DazRascal for the cache.
A quick detour off the highway as Kaisho53 and I headed South from the Mega. We found a dirt road that led us to a reasonable approach path and the geotrail suggested it had been a popular path in over the weekend...
A quick wander around the water and we arrived at what the GPS was labeling GZ. Into the hunt and the container was revealed nice and quickly in a likely spot. We used toe convenient resting place to sort business out and dropped the cache back... [^]
A nice little spot although today, it wasn't an enticing swimming hole. Perhaps when the weather warms up...
Cheers DazRascal.

Found this one as part of our trip to the 2012 Oz Mega in Albury. This one was fairly well hidden but turned up quickly with the clue. TFTC.

This was a very nice watery spot, being utilised by a few people fishing. As we hunted out the cache it threatened to become even more watery as the skies were very black and a few raindrops fell. But that was all, and the cache business was attended to without us getting wet at all. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us to this lovely area.
Please accept my apologies for "boilerplate logs" this week. Caching during the day and socialising at night leaves little time to do real justice to each cache log. Found today whilst attending OZ MEGA. Did the tour to Yackandandah and Beechworth townships picking up smilies and ten icon types. Thanks for the cache in such a wonderful area.
A funny thing happened on the way to Yack ... ran into a cacher here, another one there, by the time we hit the township we had a real ol' fashioned convoy! Woop!!!

A quick detour on our way from the Mega Event to Yack. No time for a swim today - we have a meeting scheduled with a flashmob!

Found on my way home form the OZ Mega, Not sure we got the closest parking spot, bet we got there in the end. TFTC
This cache was one of the many grabbed on my 4 day trip to the OzMega Event. We arrived on Friday at midday and left at Midday on Monday and cached between when we where not socializing with other teams. This trip was also a shakedown for a new tent trailer we had purchased for camping. Besides the bike rack breaking on my trailer on the way up it all went well. PT539 also got a similar trailer to mine. He had trouble with his water tank.

#535 found during a rather interrupted caching day during the Mega. This was a double run one toward Yackandandah and the other toward Beechworth interrupted by the OZ Albury Flashmob. The day saw me find 24 with the final for the day being the Mega itself making it 25 for the day.
5 of 25 found for this day 161 of continuous caching after arriving near GZ the find was a little interesting to say the least well planed hide and looks like it has weathered the Mega well arriving today to find that the Geo trail was not as obvious as some I have seen in the past 3 days.
Thanks DazRascal for a great hide.

5394. [font=Century Gothic][green]Lavender, lavender, lavender. Everywhere lavender. In the end this one could have been a driveby almost but the short walk through the aforementioned lavender wasn't too bad at all. Nearby fisherman/men were no problem and the find found - hence the smiley next to this log.

A lovely spot by the creek. What amazed me here was the scent in the air, and I realised we were walking across many many little lavender plants, presumably self sown here, which is weird. Anyway, another local spot of history thanks DazRascal.
One of the 24 caches for the day... Find #735 whilst attending the Oz Mega Event weekend!....

Nice spot, we came in the long way of course, young Lily from Dr Kramers team found the cache and seems to be a newbie natural. Thanks for showing us your swimhole.
We were looking for somewhere to have lunch and this seemed to be an ideal spot with a cache thrown in to boot.
Thanks DazRascal

A quick find once we decided on our route in. No one swimming today, looks like a great spot. Tftc.
Found during a cache raid on our way to the MEGA. Great place for a swim and magnificent reflections in the early evening TFTC.

The Mega site is starting to emerge from it's equestrian camo. With just two days to go we spent today with Liz&Bruce, Ian & Penny and Flipper and Co. in the Wodonga / Yackandanda area.
Not enough time to stop for a swim, it did look inviting.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt DazRascal.

Out with Phetlern, Ian and Penny and Flipper & Co for an entertaining day of caching - a good pre mega event activity. A lovely day to be out caching and this was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find. thanks dazrascal. Lovely spot though the mossies were a bit too friendly.

Heading back to Wondonga, we stopped in at Strawberry wines then found cache. Awesome spot for a swim. Wishing I had my togs.
# 139. Another cache found on my day out with Harrowang. While they made a cuppa I sauntered through the lavendar to find this one. A beautiful spot with a few people enjoying a morning by the water. Took: Nothing, Left: Pathtag. TFTC
Had driven past this spot in the past without the time to stop. Parked so I had to walk around the edge of the lake, making for a nice walk. TFTC
Quick easy find on a cloudy day threatening rain, the area has had some good rain lately and the cache is a little damp, I had no repair goods with me so the owner may want to check it out, is still signable,

Took some searching in the pouring rain. Would be a nice spot on a hot summers day. Thanks now to dry off. Stopped off at the near by winnery.
Found it 1115 hrs, had a nice time looking for it, was not really where I thought I would be looking. A lovely day with some nice photos to be taken across the dredge hole. Great spot to hide too, Thanks again, sl.
We picked up a few caches along the way to Lake Hume. This was a quick find and sign. TFTH
Don't know about the swimming part, but we certainly got wet on this find. Thankfully it was a quick find as the rain was not letting up today for our caching. Thanks for the hide.
nice find in an area I have fished before. Had to wait for a muggle free moment to collect cache.
Nice cache and my third in Victoria. It was pretty much exposed when we found it but you would have to be looking hard to find it. Rehid the cache, all was still in good order. TFTC
Found on a caching run with ACBC66, fitzy_1965 and Sol de Lune....
Number 11 for the day - a bit of a walk but Sol found it in the end !

After stopping on a very warm and humid day I would have liked a nice swim, especially after the short walk but we where headed to the Camp and Cache Event so no time unfortunately, but looks like some muggles here are enjoying the water.
