I have double checked WP1 and this cache is no longer tenable so I have decided to archive it.
With the changes at wp1 I have decided to withdraw this one and decide on the best course of action.
The two coins that I put in there on April 22 are definitely not in the cache any more.

I'm sorry to see this one has gone off-line - I really liked this spot. Aware that this might be a nice easy 'multi' I had it on my list to do today and I wasn't disappointed by the views or scenery. I had to pinch the cache to take back to the car while I waited for walkers to pass through, but I was able to return it once they had made it to the bottom of the hill.
The coins are in my pocket by the way .
Thanks Alan, great location.

There must be more varieties of tree in this area than just about anywhere in the world. An easy cache on a busy day.

It was a rainy, cold, miserable day but we were looking for adventure. Found the cache with only my mobile phone's coordinates. We left a geocoin that we'd found months ago. Opps, hope someone can pass it on...
As per the previous finders, I am sure I looked there a few times as well, however swaggie2 was getting impatient so she jumped out of the car and came up to GZ and said look there. "But I looked there twice I protested" and too no avail because there it was. Oh well, so Alansee we logged your cache at 1730 hrs, left a TB and a Packet of 30's badges, took Clay Poker Chips keytag. And just to rub it in Swaggie2 made sure that I heard about the find all the way home.
A clever place and name for a cache. Hunted for ages then BX19TRS found it where three people had already searched! Fantastic views slightly obscured by the low cloud. Took: Handcuffs (kept geoboy happy for hours!), Left: poker chip keyring.
A quick inspection of some other spots and then right there where I had initially thought lol.T key ring,L key ring SL.
Second last of a few today. I didn't know this place existed. Will have to come back for a longer look one day.
Reminds me of Canada amongst these trees.

Now I understand why this cache is named Mexicans! An interesting area. I won't say I found the cache in the 'first' place I looked - but it was close to it. TNLN & SL at 6:30pm. TFTC!
Found 15:25, a nice easy find in a very pleasant location.
TNLN, CSI=4, thanks Alansee.

I have been to this place of trees several time before, but the cache name didn't mean anything until I got closer to GZ. The trees looked a bit like She-Oaks but turned out to be Pines.
An easy find, just a matter of picking the right one
Thanks, Robmc.

Found with Oenze on our day in the Dandenongs day. Maybe the shortest multi we have ever done I even think we kept the engine running! Anyway the pines were great and the weather was superb on this mid week excursion. TNLN thanks alansee.
Find # 1777 and 13th of the day at 1:26pm. Accompanied by Feathertop on another day out caching. Easy drive by. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanks Alansee....
Found in the first place I looked! Not sure if this should really be termed a multi-cache! I was looking for some numbers to manipulate! TNLN. Thanks Alansee. No view today in the mist and drizzle.
Got to this one today, had a bit of trouble finding it at first, then bingo! TFTC. Dropped off "big thing" TB.
A fairly quick find despite spending a few moments looking for clues at waypoint one. Had to duck out of sight for a few passing motorists uncluding the local ranger but soon had it signed and on my way.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

I absolutely love this area - a drive along the Silvan Rd seems to transport me to a place well away from the hassles of civilization . I suspected what I would find at GZ for this one, but a search around the sign for clues to the next wp wasn't forthcoming, so I checked the hint and found the cache in the 1st such spot I searched .
TNLN
Thanks Alansee - I've really been looking forward to doing this one and its mate.

Found by edmil & maddie. Cache was a quick find. The views were fabulous. Have been in this area many times. Car, Motor bike and mtb, have also trekked through the area. Thanks for the cache; TNLN
At GZ I realised the significance of the cache name but didn't find any hidden information that made sense, so I decrypted the clue and found the cache in the third place I looked. TNLNTFTC.
Found the sign and the required info, but was a bit puzzled by it. However, found the cache without too much difficulty. Thanks for the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1530. Glorious views, and still some autumn colours about. We, too, were initially confused about the Multi element, but the cache was located reasonably quickly. TNLN. Our thanks again to Alansee.
G'day Alansee,
We found our 15th Alansee cache today at 12:40pm as the 2nd of 3 on a brisk before lunch jaunt to The Dandenongs. We were a little unsure of what the Multi part was once we arrived here but we soon found the cache none the less. We were also amused as to how the cache name related to the place. This is area is always at it best at this time of year. Thanks for the cache.
Regards,
D & S B-A

Craig found this because Nicklaus found the "ascent" too challenging. Great relief after two earlier disappointments today . Multi-cache seems a little far fetched but we had a ball all the same, lovely views from here again. Loved the clue about migration, although expected something different. We love Rupert's gift ...

The views from the lookout just up the road were stunning today around 10.00a.m. and i couldnt believe how many cars were there. No people so can only imagine the 30 full car park was mainly a bush walking club of some description. The GZ area soon revealed the "sign", and soon after the well placed goods located. For some reason ,was picturing a plaque that dedicated "thanks" to NSW volunteers for their work in the mountains in the early days.Never would have guessed this type of "mexican"!!Hopefully a spate of caches will appear more regularly in the Dandenongs as its such a deserved region for treking, walking, touring in general and visiting unknown spots thru cache awareness. Thanks to Alansee.TNLN.
Found at 1.45pm GAFF1. Love coming to this area and especially at this time of year when the leaves are just starting to turn. We enjoyed the Mexican reference and the cache was soon found by c-pprass while p-pprass was looking for something much more sinister. Thanks Alansee. Took: Billy Idol CD (just love White Wedding!), Left: Calculator
A dead easy find in the first place I looked. This one could almost be listed as a traditional. Had I knowen how easy it was I probebly would have grabed a ftf here too.
Had a bit of a read of the high country walks book but TNLNSL. There where people walking about in the silver birches looking for I dont know what - mushrooms???
Thanks Alansee

Found at 19:00. I have been to this place several times but never in the dark, I saw several nocturnal animals on the drive out. Thanks Alansee for the cache.
Found @ 4:30pm
Only my 2nd find and i'm 2nd TF.
This was a little harder than my first find an hour ago, seems "clockwise" beat me to it and did a very good cover up job as it took me about 20 mins to find. I was quite surprised at the goodies in the cache and would have liked to grab 1 item but hadn't come prepared as this was my first day of geocaching and was not sure what to bring.
TN LN Thanks Alansee, now on to another of your caches.

Our first First to Find!!!
After having tea at the Pig and Whistle (the scallop salad is great) we headed off on our second attempt at a FTF. When closing into GZ things were a bit hairy as I came quite close to running over a few stupid suicide-bunnies. Luckily I missed!! I also spotted a few kangaroos.
Anyway, we grabbed our torches and found the sign, and a few seconds later the cache was in hand. I excitedly found the logbook and checked that we really had the FTF.. and we did! I signed the magical first page and replaced the cache.
Didn't find anything of personal interest and didn't leave anything, but thanks Alansee for the fun!
