We tried this one this morning , but did not have any luck. Hopefully it will be checked as it is a great spot
Came back with a different GPSr. Accuracy of 4m. Still couldn't find it. Found lots of spiders...
Sent an email to the PC. Hopefully they'll respond.

Found WP2 with geospouse. GZ terrain very difficult with too many spiders and overgrown everything. Too scary! May try again some other time
Tatura caches really weren't being my friend today. I really enjoyed the poles with the clues on them, but had no luck finding WP 2. Given the cache hasn't had a find on it since August last year, looks like it could do with a visit to check up on it?
I've spent a bit of time over the last couple of months looking for the GZ, but I dont think it will be found until the scrub dies back. Unless I'm totally wrong...

Second attempt at this one. Found WP2 this time. Very clever hind. Made my way to WP3 but found so many possible spots to hide a cache. Was concerned that I would start damaging the environment if I continued to look for too long. Will continue to watch this cache with interest and will revisit if there is a find (or if the owner could confirm that the cache is still active).
Cheers,
Ric

I’m a new arrival to Tat. Thought it was a nice afternoon for a Geocache or two. Found WP1 and enjoyed the walk around getting answers to the clues. This was a good way of learning some of the history of the local area. Made my way to WP2 when a couple of muggles walked by. Had a nice chat with them before they continued on their way.
Searched for some time for the cache. Found a number of obvious spots, but alas no joy. Will place this one on my Watch list as I suspect that the last arrival did not actually find the cache either (after reading their comments). If anyone can confirm that it has not been muggled, let me know and I will take another walk to check it out.
Cheers,
Ric

Found with Purpledreamer on a sunny day which has tuned into rain now. Lostmonster at work, we decide to do a few caches in the area. Arrived WP1 collected the info. Off to WP2...Oh NO!!! I think that's wrong. Went back to WP1...oops thats better. Arrived at WP2 and after a bit of search came up with the goods. Worked GZ out and off we went. Time we reach GZ it was getting dark and had to call it quits...but we will be back to finish it.....don't know when!!! cheers penquin clan..

Finally got to do some caching today and I was happy to check this one out. Tatura is a great little town with some great historic sites. It also gave me an excuse to come and get some of those great vanilla slices too. TFTC.
Enjoyed this multi. Took two attempts at this GZ. First attempt got to GZ and was beatin to it by a snake so left it to log it's find and came back giving plenty of time for it to move on. Found this one to be pretty challenging due to GZ location, all fears covered with plenty of spiders and a snake. But glad to have this one crossed off our list. SL TNLN T4TC
Found it with Coruze.
Worked through the stages, figured out the final and off we went.
OOOOPS, lets back off and let that snake move on.
Went back some time later and found the cache.

Found after traipsing over bushes wiping away cob webs spiders which wernt nice
Thanks for showing us this part of Tatura Loved this cache - except for the last bit of scrambling through bushes and spiders and not sure if you're even meant to be in there... TFTC signed log
A nice bit of history of the area all in the one spot. I thought it was great. Found the second waypoint after a couple of minutes. Waypoint 3 a bit longer. I was in the right spot but was blocked on one side. Searched but could not find, then after one last look from another side, I caught a glimpse of the cache. With a bit of stretching and brushing away of bushes, spiders and cobwebs, I had the cache in hand. Log book was dry, but contents were partially waterlogged. TFTC.
Found by harry_stamper on 10/1/11 @ 11.15am with PR&F.
Cache 1/2 for the day.
A very enjoyable cache indeed - the history was amazing and the hide a very clever one!

#2 of 5 GC and GCA finds today.
After having a coffee and award winning vanilla slice at the bakery, we decided to cross this one off our list today.
Did the maths and made our way to GZ. spent quite awhile here before the clever container was in our hands. Upon opening the cache, there was not a log book to sign.
Thanks for bringing us to this part of Tatura penguin clan!

Enjoyed tracking down the information for the extra location which we found easily enough, but sadly could not find the treasure. We are only newbies and not quite sure what we're missing, will have another go soon
Not a DNF but a CNR (could not reach).
The park where this cache starts was being used as a rest stop for the 2010 Great Victorian Bike Ride which meant plenty of people walking around admiring the artwork to hide my activities. WP2 was easily accessed.
A call to a local cacher confirmed that I was in the right spot but there was no way to access GZ without getting wet feet, this cache can wait for another day.
Thanks for showing me a bit of local history penguin clan.

Forgot to log this one, found it on a rainy day, the geo kids got socked finding all the info but loved every minute of it. Well done Penguin clan this was a ripper.
Been here some time ago and collected the numerical information, but I have since misplaced it, so I had to start again. Doh!
Last time I had problems with WP2, this time it was found easily as a few of the prickly plants have had hair cuts.
By this time it was dark, and I was looking for the final WP (GZ) by headlamp.
I saw the trails, and probably created a few more of my own, but I couldn't locate the cache =o[
Maybe the next time I'm in the area.
Thanks penguin clan anyways for this cache.
PS: Might want to consider moving this cache to prevent further damage of the plants...

I gathered all the necessary information to find the location of the sneaky clue, and that was found without much trouble but when it came to finding the final cache that was a different story,at gz evidence of a geotrail was obvious but even trying to reach the cache was difficult due to the overgrowth.
Thanks for the cache penguin clan

Maintenance visit today. All fine and in order, but isn't it surprising how quickly the vegetation grows? Please enjoy the cache and this place ! Penguins
After Robmc stated that he couldn't find this last time I was a little doubtfull as to our sucess this trip but it turned up fairly easily. Interesting and slighly challenging cache. Thanks
I have returned! But did I remember to bring my previous working? Not likely!
Started again. Fortunately it is an interesting cache, and it didn't take long.
This time we were a bit more successful at GZ.
Thanks, Robmc.

Stopped on the way to visit my mum in Kyabram at this park in Tatura.
I stumbled my way through the clues for the 2nd waypoint.
I couldn't find waypoint 2. So my journey ended here.
I'll attempt it again next time when I'm in the area - hopefully with more pairs of eyes.

Its with great pleasure that I announce that it was raining in Tatura as we were working on this cache. I was also introducing one of the locals to this interesting past time and history lesson. Anyway soggy shoes and all we had the log signed and were on our journey. Pity the famous Bakery was closed. Thanks for the Gz penguin clan
Had fun walking around and reading all the poles, and collecting the required information. Found the next clue, but had no success at GZ.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Found this after a false start, having written down the wrong values for one of the questions. It certainly made for some interesting searching, especially with all the muggle activity around. We came back after a couple of hours, checked our figures and found the final GZ in short time. TNLNSL
Found it with hubby and daughters and Mother -In Law.
2nd one of the day in the area. Found at 3.45pm.
This was a great one. Lots of interesting things to read.

Had fun at WP1 figuring out the coords but sadly we couldn't find WP2. Maybe next time.
Found by Mary & David at 1650. We enjoyed the atrwork and were glad to find that they hadn't been vandalised at all. A true community celebration. No problems with the numbers except that mary accidentally reversed one pair. We soon identified the problem and headed to GZ for a quick find. TNLN. Our thanks to penguin clan.
During our find of the second GZ the container was dropped and the diguises fell off. Did not have the necessary equipment to repair same so we left them inside. Sorry. Cache still functions OK.
We pulled up at this interesting park just on dark and as the rain had started to fall. Fortunately there was just enough light left to gather the required information and head off to the next waypoint. Here Vombatus found the necessary information and then we were all off to GZ. After a little bit of a false start we soon rectified the problem and were on track and thankfully the cache was located quickly as the rain had just began to fall a little harder. We quickly signed the log and replaced the cache before anything got damp and returned to the warmth of the cars.

Thanks penguin clan for showing us the interesting park.

Found in the company of Team Crackers and Full on Phil. The light was faiding fast and the weather was getting colder and colder. We located the final GZ using a torch and decided this was the last for the day. Loved the art work and the concept. Thanks

Found today 2.30 accompanied by Penndragons, nice camoflage of WP2. Were interupted breifly by a car driving across park to check on Yabbie nets in lake. TNLN Thanks penguin clan.
Found with ohbeeone whilst staying at Waranga Basin for Easter. Second cache of the day. TNLNSL Enjoyed this one and had a beer and snack in park. Thanks.
Found at 9.45pm GAFF5 in the company of Rabbitto. We picked up the information from the structures fairly quickly, but then struggled a bit to find the next clue. With torches in hand we scoured the area only to find it there in the first place I looked - darn it!
Then do you think we could find the way onto what we thought was an island! In the dark moonless night, we nearly circumnavigated the "island" and then Dean found an easy way in. Then it was another scramble to find the cache which Dean again found in an area that I had checked when we first got there - I believe I wasn't much help in this cache!
Thanks penguin clan for highlighting this area. tn/ln

I found our 1st Penguin Clan cache in the company of Pprass at 9:50pm as the final of 17 on our Shepparton Shuffle I. This cache was probably best attempted in daylight, but we couldn't resist just one more close by cache before heading for home. Pprass and I seemed to gradually reverse roles as the day wore on and we weren't thinking too well by this time of night. Now for the 2 hour drive home. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.
Find # 2085 and 3rd of the 3rd day at 8:23am. Accompanied by Feathertop on a caching weekend to Shepparton and beyond. A nice little multi. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Penguin Clan....
This was a very well put together cache and in the process we found out much about the town and much about the area at WP1 where we tried to get way too clever. Anyway after that GZ was a relief though ants were coming at me from everywhere. Thanks penguin clan.
Found at 1430. An interesting place with features I have never seen before. Great use of artwork for caches clues, with a great hide at WP2, and a nice final cache find.

#26 of 29 on day one of my Shep/Murray/Hume escapade. It's a pity it was dark by the time I arrived here, because I couldn't properly appreciate the artwork. Anyhow, I gathered the information, and headed to WP2. Found it eventually, and headed to GZ for a relatively easy, but wet find. The rain was still clinging to the vegetation, it was transferred to my jumper. [B)] I made no exchange. Thanks to penguin clan for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Strange that this crash site doesn't receive the publicity that other UFO crash sites do [:o]
The wreckage is here for all to view .
The strange monoliths here also tell of strange happenings in the surrounding area
I can shed light on the waypoint two mystery.
It had been dislodged by some drink cans dumped there and fallen under the bridge.
So it wasn't an alien abduction after all Nice camo job.
TFTC and fun.

Great little park with interesting artworks (Dak should see them) [:p]. I couldn't see any fish around in the pond and finding the WP proved impossible. A quick phone call to Rubik proved helpful as he provided the info required to allow us to finish the cache.
I was out caching with rally on our 070707 caching day. I really liked the art work at this location and the rocket looked like it landed hard, we failed to find the second point and had to get some assistance from Rubik so we could finish the cache. Thanks for showing us this area and the cache.
[77] Finally finished this one! last month when we did this one there was a match in progress so we could not progress lol

This is a great park very intresting concept I took geo dad for his first offical cache find although we had to break and wait for the rain to stop the cache was most enjoyable thankyou PC left dice took nothing
As I had to make a trip over to Tatura I thought I should give this one a go.
After collecting all the necessary info it was a straight forward find.

Saw this one pop up nearby a few days ago so thought we would head out for the afternoon. I have been through Tatura a few times and have not noticed these interesting features before. We were very impressed with the hide/camo at WP2 and as usual D found it. Found the cache hide easy enough and remains well hidden and in good nick. TFTC penguin clan. Cheers.

Found by Roma and Max.
Our last search for the day and a very interesting one it was, examining all these carefully created objects to obtain enough info to proceed on to wpt2. We found a minor glitch at wp2, which only took a few minutes to rectify, and then we proceeded to an easy find at GZ
In: Mondo Figurine.
Out: White Tiger.
Thanks again penguin clan for another enjoyable experience.

I just arrived home from the weekend and saw this one had popped up. I headed out at dusk with Amy who amazingly joined me for a record 5 geocache finds today! We really enjoyed searching around the area and WPT 2 was very creative. The interesting camo container was found shortly after in an appropriate place!
Thanks very much for bringing me out to this spot, I don't venture here very often but am slowly learning more about the place.
