So yes - it's an archived cache - that didn't stop me from having a bo peep for it.
In an effort to increase my "Wingaap" finds, I decided to check on this one whilst in the area. Most of the barriers that caused the cache to be archived are somewhat dilapidated now. I checked out the area and whisked over. It was not in the first (more difficult) area I looked. I retreated.
Then I had a bit more of an idea and followed the GPSr quick like straight to a likely area. Oh. There. Yoik. Opened it up - and sure enough, the last find was nearly 4 years ago The cache is in remarkable condition for its age.
It's a personal rule for me not to remove archived caches. However, Wingaap's last note indicated he would like it removed - and given the area - it's probably for the best. I will return to his cache to him when I see him next.
An interesting area. and a look at something I have passed many times before. TFTC Wingaap

It could be a while until I'm up that way. With that in mind:
To anyone passing by....if you are feeling brave/daring.....could you pick up the trash (cache)
Many thanks

Given the electric fence and no entry signs....looks like this one needs to be archived
Yes, I see your need to put a cache here 'wingaap'. Ignoring the large sign nearby, I found it ... eventually ... TN/LN/SL. That sign says "NO ENTRY" in very large letters. I wonder if this one should be moved or removed.
Yes well.....I wasn't about to cross that fence for love nor money - even if there was a cache on the other side. I watched from the car as Mr L&L negotiated the fence which looked for all the world like an electric fence. I watched carefully hopeing Mr L&L didn't do the 'electric fence dance' as he threw his leg over it. Didn't take long before he was back in the car TFTC
Indeed, a cache did need to be here. Mr Dosphoenix waded through to grab this one. TNLN. Thanks Wingy!
Found on the way back from Bundaberg to Canberra. Doubled back on the nearby road and made a quick find.

I couldn't resist stopping in for this one as I was already caching in the area. I found this one at 0930. Being a Wingaap cache, I was half expecting an unusual placement, and I was right.
Cheers Wingaap

Found today coming home from Mooloolaba. Introduced Miss Shy & Taylz to geocaching.
Was a little concerned there is an electric fence and No Entry sign to get to the cache now.

This was the last cache of the day...
It was also the funniest one for the day...
We all (VWNUTS, Miss Shy, Taylz & I) looking at the big NO ENTRY sign and the electric fence... no close & yet so far away... but not to be outdone by a bit of electricity, VWNUTS crawls under the fence and retrieves the cache... once logged and back in its place, & with VWNUTS safely on the right side of the electricity again, e drive off grinning...
We outdid the fence.. hehe...
As we passed the ed of the paddock..we noticed that the fence stopped and you could just walk in... hehe so funny...
Ta lots...

I think the clue relates to the step over the electric fence as well as the cache location?
thanks wingaap

Found on holidays in the area.
Great cache, best we have seen in a long time.

Found as part of our great whale of a time weekend away. We are heading to Hervey Bay for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. 4.30pm on the way home. Love the location Sooo cute we took photos. Enjoyed the fake electric fence to stop her getting out. TNLN thanks for the cache.
Was going to this cache after Farm Fantastic , but to busy. Interesting piece of sculpture. TFTC SL
9th and last for the day. Had to get this one and add the photo to my collection. The magent is still missing.

Hmm - looking at something else and discovered I never logged this... Oh well, here it is, logged whilst setting up things for Farm Fantastic...
Not sure if this one is strictly legal given the signs and the electric fence but who are we to complain. We went after it anyway.
Thanks again
Thanks again
Twenty second for the day and cache two hundred and fifty-one on day nine of our Brisvegas trip, the cache was found at 1530 in the company of chewinprickles. interesting sculpture was not to keen on the electric fence but we gave it a test and found it to be off.
Not exactly owner maintenance...however a new log book has been supplied courtesy of Just a Trifle
Many thanks to the Just a Trifle Team....your kind assistance is very much appreciated
A quick find (number seven for the day) on the way back home with geojez. The area had big "private property" signs all over it and a tyre wall (easily scalable) had been erected to keep the motorcycle menace that plagues state forests out. Not sure how long the cache/cow will last if it is in fact private property. TNLN, TFTC.
Unsure when it happened but Miss Daisy has been tidied up & is standing on all 4 pins again.
A very interesting creature indeed . Thanks for leading us here for a easy but fun cache on the way to Noosa for the weekend.
Easily found but we wonder if this will be here for much longer. The site is marked for redevelopment. Will it happen?
TNLN Thanks Wingaap

4.30pm. Quick find as some dirt bikers were just leaving as we arrived.
Some REAL big spiders here, something we aren't used to coming from NZ.
The caches magnet has come away and was just sitting there, we replaced under clamp as couldn't even find the magnet.

Looked at de' udder but couldn't find it. Looked at de' udder end an' dere it was! Thanks wingaap!
Won't chalk this one up as a DNF as muggles riding motor bikes prevented getting to GZ.
Will get this next time passing by.

A nice easy drive by to start off the day. I saw this feature passing bye on the 6th but wasn't aware of the cache location. TFTC
Nice drive by on the way home. Missed it on the way down, the cow must have been in getting milked.

I didn't know what to expect when I read the description and logs for this cache. Nice work, it's milk should be fairly high in iron.
Thanks wingaap.
Thanks wingaap.
Mooooo. Cool place for a cache. Saw it as we drove past on the way up the coast yesterday (about the time you were almost falling in the water at one of my cache's Wingaap - would have liked to see that!). Knew we had to stop on the way back. Kids enjoyed this one. As did I. TFTC.
Found with geokids. Drove past many times good excuse to stop. TFTC Wingaap
We were all wondering if this cache would be past-your-eyes but discovered it only gave tin milk......(awe that hurts!).A great laugh, well done. TFTC d.d.dudes

Interesting monument. There were a family of dirt bike riders occupying the site so I had to pretend that I was admiring the edifice and taking photos.
Another wingaap animal..............noooooo.
Checked out one side, couldn't see it, so I went to the udder side.
Just kidding, the cache was found where I hoped it would be.
I had to be quick with this cache as a thunderstorm loomed, and I need to find another one nearby.
Thanks wingaap.

I can’t believe I’ve never noticed this feature before! Well, I’ve noticed it now, and I’d love to know the whys and wherefores of its existence. Cute spot for a cache, made me smile, thanks! TFTC. =’.’=
Moooooved right in to nab this one before the highway traffic became too busy. TFTC
This could almost be a Play School craft project! After meeting angermanagement we wandered over to inspect the creation and I happened to stand in just the right spot. Cache was retrieved within seconds and we were on our way - back into the ghastly traffic. Will have to stop here with the geokids next time we're passing. TFTC
Driven past twice with Happy Harries who pointed it out and finally dicided to stop and get the cache. Meet dizzyanne, Hi
great place for a cache.
great place for a cache.
Driving back from Mapleton we spotted the target from the road and saw someone suspiciously hiding behind it - the dog was a bit of a giveaway too. Drove around and parked in the 'parking lot' - what a busy spot!!! Met angermanagement and gorgeous dog on the way over but made sure we didn't look when he replaced it the cache!!! DisSister found this one quick smart - I'm a bit shorter so may have had some trouble . Thanks for this one, loved it
This was our 8th cache of Day 3 of 4 day visit to your sunny state and what a quite an amusing stop to break the journey it was, heading back towards Brisbane. The cache was found after a very short search
Thanks for showing us this well made oddity

#27 of 27 finds on the Sunshine Coast in company with The Garner Family and HawMorFords. We found this one at 1525. What a great sculpture! [^] Ordinarily, I would have just driven past it,perhaps not even noticing it. However, thanks to geocaching, I got a close up look at it. Thanks for that. I made no exchange. Thanks to wingaap for the cache. Cheers, dak.
HMF's sixty-second and last of a weekend's caching on the Sunshine Coast in the company of The Garner Family (Mr) and dak's Emu Mob.
Yep, The HawMorFords have found Wingaap's Steel dog and Fatso but we have to say... this one takes the cake! What a great cache container! Thanks to wingaap for the cache. #1885

While we were away this weekend we'd always had in mind that we'd nab this cache on the way back into town.
As we had time spare as we came back we took the appropriate exit and grabbed the cache. This is a fantastic feature and I'd love to know why its here! Thanks for putting a cache here, I'd looked at it a number of times on the way back from the Sunshine Coast & was glad to have the opportunity to stop and look at it in more detail.

found over a year ago with Rogainer, but for some reason I never logged it. I was driving past the other day when my nice new gps'rphone said there was a cache there I had not found. Funny I thought because I know I've been there. This log should sort the phone out.
Driving back from climbing Mt Beerwah and this one flashed up on the screen.

Found in 2 minutes 1st visit. Yeah I missed it the first 119 seconds of looking. Looked right at it three times. Hey, I am just a beginer. Took geokid #3 for his first of hopefully many geotrips. I,ve passed this point many times and always thought one day I would stop for a gander. Well now I have. Thanks for the hunt. SL
Holy COW! We must have struck a PURPLE patch when we got to this one, because we found it straight up. Steve grabbed the cache while Mrs Steve and the geokid played in the cow's belly.
We signed the log, said farewell to Daisy and MOOOved along to the next one.
Thanks for the cache!

Took along a six footer just in case, but 5 foot-little-bit found it after a bit gravity defying.

I have been eyeing this one off as I have passed it on the way to work at Bribie Island this week but unfortunately I hadn't the time to stop. Today we were on our way to a Karate Grading this weekend so it seemed like the ideal time. The Mini Inks wanted their photo taken with the Cow. Does anyone know who put this here? Thats the question the kids kept asking!
