Heading home after a two-day trip caching all the way. Stopped right at dusk on a blustery, cold, wet, rainy day. Loved the statue and did look for the cache with NE Fans, Spinver, and Abbou--but the cold got the best of us and we couldn't seem to locate it.
Hope to sometime make a trip back in better weather to find this one!!

Made the stop and enjoyed the sculptures, but too many sledding muggles to attempt the hunt. Thanks!
En route from Sharon Springs to Overland Park. This is a cool sculpture. It took us a while to find the cache. It was crazy windy up on top of the hill, and there was a family sitting down in a truck by the sign. I wish we would have had longer to stick around and read the sign. As it was Sunday afternoon, the visitors' center was closed, but maybe we'll visit another time. TFTC
Took a little looking and some bumps and scrapes, but we came up with it. Then, we had a really nice visit with the lady in the visitors' center nearby, took our pictures as Annie Oakley(s), and continued on our road trip caching tour. TFTC!
The statue is amazing! But what was more amazing is that my GPS coordinates were dead on and despite bruising my finger when returning the cache, this was an interesting place to visit. The kind lady inside told us about the construction of the new facility, and sent us on our way with some coffee. TFTC!
US12. This was the biggest micro buffalo I have ever seen. I really enjoyed this location and had a good look round. Thanks
