Sounds like NOFS had the correct spot. I will take a look and reinstate the cache if necessary - hopefully this month.
No joy here (well other than seeing the mighty Clutha and the punt). Found what I'm pretty sure was the right spot, but no cache.
Searched extensively where the hint suggested. Found the items in the hint but NO SIGN of the cache. Took some photos of the site and will send to the cache owner. Had a pleasant trip with Pete, the Punting man, over the river. What an awesome experience.
Another neat spot for a cache, took a few pic's and grabbed the TB.

FTF.A pretty grey day here. I assume it was the low and very heavy cloud that was causing the GPSr to be all over the place. But it eventually settled and the cache was located with the help of the hint. Been on the punt twice I think. Fast flowing deep water isn't my idea of fun though! Dropped off TB Commander's Scout 2.
