Up here with a group of friends, speading the ashes of a beautiful sole.Easy little find
Stopped in on a drive from Cooma to Tumut this morning to reprise a photo taken over 20 years ago and was delighted to find the Big Fish cache at the same time. With only a pair of muggle truckies nearby it was a relatively straight forward search and find today. Thanks winglen. Great to nab another of yours.CheersMajuraHathi
# 9506 A spectacular day of 4WD adventure that took us from Canberra, the Cotter, Uriarra, Piccadilly Circus, Broken Cart trail and out to our first stop at Blue Waterholes for lunch. Then it was off again across Long Plain in an almost vain attempt to spot bumbies. We had a great stop at Landers falls for some amazing views then off to Talbingo for afternoon tea. Next was the Tumut #3 power station then back to the highway to Tantangara to observe the enormous works in progress for the Snowy 2.0 project. We were running late by this stage so we headed straight to Adaminaby for our dinner reservation and then back home All in all a busy day with some amazing sights and great company. Thanks to Greg and James for organising.Logs signed as 4WDA or similar. Thanks winglen for the Traditional Cache
Cache # 11519 on 20 Oct 2024Sunday was a full-on 14 hour 4WD Geocaching Adventure day for 10 vehicles and 38 geocachers travelling 470 kms from Canberra to Blue Waterholes, Buffalo Pits, Landers Falls, Tumut 3 Powerstation, Talbingo, Black Perry Lookout, Tantangara lookout and Adaminaby to finish at the Snowgoose pub for dinner. Nibbletricecakes enjoying driving her geomobile while GLISS, Tealby and I were support crew and in return were rewarded with safe conveyance and and fantastic company. A great day hanging with old and new friends! Thanks to Farmers5 and Jusojara for organising! Last cache for me for the day. Happy that Youban was able to lay his hand on the cache! Then onto dinner and the long drive home! Thank you winglen for the cache and the fun!
On a day of caching with the 4WD adventure group. Beautiful day for some caching adventures. Log signed as 4WDA.TFTC.
My Dad and I ventured out to hike Mt Tantangara today with the main target being the new EC at the summit, and of course to collect the trad and virtual. It was a spectacular hike, one of my new favourites by far. We collected a couple of caches on our way home as we passed through Adaminaby. Another big thing, it makes me want to do a road trip to visit all the big things. Perhaps it's something I'll put into the 'maybe one-day' pile. Thank you winglen for the cache!
Finally found it! As previously stated log full. Will message owner about log replacement.
Found on our way through town. Windy and cold. Easy find, thanks for the cache.
Having had no luck accessing the Mt Tantangara area (see log here... https://coord.info/GCAVXEE), I headed back to Cooma and had a few enjoyable hours of geocaching there.I stopped along the way to grab this cache. I had to explain to a nice young family (mum, dad, two small kids) that I wasn't crashing their picnic. They had heard of geocaching, and were astonished at the number of names in the log book (which is full, btw) going back over so many years. Thanks for the cache, winglen!
The local bakery sign is in clear view. Highly recommend the steak and pepper pie! The log book is nearly out of room
Quick find after a day skiing. Beautiful day. On the way home now found this cache out in the open ( and open) on a wall. Signed and replaced . My gps wasnt being precise . I have sent a message to the CO. Tftc!!
A fun little spot on our adventure through Cooma and surrounds. Haven't been here in many many years and the new paint job is looking slick. A nice easy grab, log signed and replaced. Thankd for the cache!
As we head to Cooma this was a must stop for the rest rooms and that magnificent Big Thing!Took a few goes but we got the correct host in the long run. Thanks winglen for the placement.

After the Mile High Event on Tantangera Mountain,. FurfacesLL, Kittykatch, Joolay and I had just enough energy left to find a few caches along the way. Stopping here was good as I had wanted to see the new paint job. Definitely better than a few months ago. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Found it on the first seat I took. Unfortunately didnt have a pen on me so took a photo of the log instead.

Exploring the area, quick find with cjd79 & Dazzpete. The trout is looking all rejuvenated now. TFTC.
Christmas camping with old friends in the region. A trip in the 4wds to explore the area. We were in the area a couple of days ago and GZ was crawling with muggles. Today only one family of muggles taking family photos. Today it was a find once they moved on.
The fish looks rather like a killer whale at the moment as its being repainted but is only black and whatre - and a bit of red - at the moment. TFTC; we found it as we passed through this little town
Find#5664Nice hiding place Took 20 minutes to find after asking for PAF and then my new GF found it for us Thanks for the cache

Grabbed this one with Baristayan on the way back from Yarrongabilly. We did have a crack on the way through but our efforts were thwarted due to excessive muggles.
Clever little hide…thanks!
PS that’s a massive fish

Found it! Unfortunately the container was wedged in too far in its hidey hole for me to extract - have taken photos to prove I found it if necessary
Found this in the school holidays on a freezing cold night. Love this place. Try the smoked trout it’s delish TFTC
I’ve been here a few times in my life and it’s good to see it still here. Stopped for some bakery treats and despite going round in circles, once I found a new space to look in the find was made easily.
Found It!
This one took a bit of searching but eventually I looked in the right spot and found it. Surprisingly this in not the first big fish cache that I've found this year, having found GC4NJ5H a month ago.
