Found with my favs Bogonghazy and Geo dog. Gradually logging off these caches. Thanks fozzy778 for placing the geocache
Well, what a lovely little town this is. Very pretty indeed lovely bush setting for a cemetery very peaceful.TFTC.
Find # 14432Headed down Castlemaine way to have a look around the springs and grab some caches in the area. For a few years I've wanted to check out the Vaughan Springs and the area south of Castlemaine. The whole area down here just seemed to be slower. No hustle or bustle at all, just the way I like it.Thankfully the rain held off, for most of the day, and the bush tracks I chose, for the out of the way caches, were 2wd friendly making for a great arvos caching.Another old Cemetery. Thankfully a nice simple find.TFTC fozzy778
Great hiding spot! While we were finding the cache, some cockatoos found us and started a bush alarm! Thank you
Camping at the nearby reserve, we decided to walk the dogs up to get this cache. Geohound found it straight up, we signed the log, and went to explore the cemetery. Tftc.
After a bit af a sticky start, with several DNF's, I found it, my first solo find. Beautiful spotTFTC
What a lovely spot. Brian and I had a look around here and read the history. Thank you for the hide and cache.
Found It.................After working up in the Maryborough area yesterday we set off on a scenic journey to collect some caches that we had on our "to do" list for quite some time and pick up some that just happened to be in between. After getting the main target caches we turned homeward picking up a couple more caches as we go. After looking around the cemetery our attention turned to the cache so a leisurely stroll to GZ and a quick search soon yielded the cache. So with the log signed we continued our journey. Thanks fozzy778 for the cache
Back log, out for a day of driving to get Geokid1 learner hours up, what better way than to cache around. It was lovely to explore this area as we have always found it to beautiful. TFTC
I am visiting the Goldfields area from Canberra, to walk the Goldfields Track, so took the opportunity to seek out a few caches by the track. This was a straightforward find, being in a hiding spot obvious to geocachers within a few metres of the coordinates Thank you fozzy778 for installing and maintaining this cache.
Glad we are not here on a hot day looking around in there. Cache box is a bit brittle and has a hole in it but log is fine Tftc
Fabulous area & well placed cache. Thank you. Having great time with my daughter
Staying overnight in Glenlyon free camping, we continued our caching trek north, searching for all the unfound caches sitting on our map.
We explored the quaint cement hidden way back in the Bush before making the find.
All is good here.
Thanks fozzy778 for the placement.

Was a tricky find, took us a bit. The marker was a couple of metres off, otherwise a fun cache. TFTC.
Yet another lovely country cemetery and the hiding spot for the cache was a good one. We have visited quite a few cemeteries over the years we have been caching!

A morning adventure with master 8 saw us head Castlemaine way for some caching and brunch. Wow - another great historical spot. We found the cache quickly and wandered further in to check out some graves. Many thanks for the cache.
Cache fo u d to be all in good order. Thanks for the find. Cache has a broken clip but is well protected from the weather. All looks to be okay.
This was a nice quick find which we were grateful for as it was definitely getting dark by now. Thanks for the cache.

Found ourselves here on the way back from doing the Silo art trail. Had to stop here as our great great grandfather and his daughter are buried here. TFT
Great find. Visiting from New Zealand. This is the probable resting place of my Grt, Grt, Grandmother Jane Perry who died in Fryerstown in July 1863 while on the goldfields. Her surviving husband and daughter, who had travelled from the UK Lake District, then moved on to the Charleston goldfields on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand. What journeys our forebears took and what dreams they chased!
Found a rather quick find about 10m from posted GZ. TFTC inspectorrex and team
On a well earned break in Castlemaine and I’m spending the time just touring the whole area, enjoying the sites and picking up caches as I go.
Came across this lovely little resting spot on my travels.
I enjoy coming to these places as it gives you a lot of history and sometimes how hard it was back then in places like this.
Thanks fozzy778 TFTC.

We teamed up with 2beez today to visit the region and check out the local history. We are always so pleased that geocaching takes us to interesting areas and places that we may never have visited otherwise.
A lovely resting place.

Travelling to Bendigo from Melbourne today for our regular Tuesday night baby sitting gig. The weather wasn't great but we managed to fit in a few caches along the way by deviating off the Freeway near Chewton.
Made a mistake on the way in by turning off onto the wrong track. We wound up in someone's yard, so turned around and tried again.
On the money this time and drove to a few metres from the cache, which was soon found.
It was in good condition and quite dry in its hidey hole. It was in there a long way and I nearly didn't find it.

Yet another detour this time to this delightful bush cemetery which to my mind are better than the neat rows and mown lawns of suburban types. TFTC fozzy778
Yer gotta love an olde cemetery
And thanks to geocaching,
I've found hundreds of out of the way plots to wander around
Here was another off the beaten burial path cemetery !!
A quick cache find,
then it was time to take in some of the dates and names on the stones

I'm doing a bit of a road trip around Victoria & am staying near Bendigo for a few days; I came here to Fryers Creek because my great-grandfather was born here; I had hoped to find some relatives in the local cemeteries but no luck. I did, however, find this geocache.

Suscoe decided to head north today in search of green and yellow boxes and smiling faces. We headed off early and dropped by Legends - Bunjil to do a health check on them.
Then it was further up the road to the north of Daylesford and beyond.
It was a beaut day, mild Spring weather, a bit of sunshine and a few clouds with a little bit of showers at times too. The countryside is looking beaut at the moment, green pastures, the occasional yellow of the canola fields and the bushland was full of colour too with reds, yellows, purples and creams of grevillias, orchids and a variety of other flowers showing their best today.
All in all it was just one of those splendid Spring days so good to be out enjoying life.
Thanks to fozzy778 for this hide, the locals were doing some care-taking work here today cleaning up and burning their efforts in tidying up, thankfully the cache was well way from the flames.

Kenare's gpsr had us going round in circles for a bit!! Sean.75 soon spied the cache though. Tftc
Our 2nd cemetery for the day. What a lovely well kept place. As a cemetery trust member I enjoy visiting other cemeteries. Tftc and for highlighting the area.
A much needed stress relief day saw myself and Pacman traverse the countryside from Daylesford to Castlemaine, then back to Geelong. Started with showers, then cleared to a perfect afternoon!
A very tranquil little spot here, Thanks for placing a cache here for us to visit.

Headed out north with Jacko today to explore the areas between Daylesford and Castlemaine. A misty morning turned into a stunning clear blue sky in the afternoon.
We stopped at Fryer's Rest to pick up this cache which is now over 10 years old. A very restful place it is!
Thanks, fozzy778.

Find #1375 for me. Found with jtnsilo on a short road-trip through this wonderful area. This was the first of 3 cemeteries we visited today and a wonderful, peaceful and well-maintained resting place. Thanks for bringing us here today fozzy778 and thanks for the cache!
Quaint cemetery with a lovely sweeping driveway which I went all the way in before I realised I had overshot the mark. Circled in to the find and easy hide located. CIGC TNLN TFTC fozzy778.
Had a good time exploring Fryerstown today after passing through yesterday. It certainly has an interesting collection of old buildings and more.
Found this cache quickly despite a rather bouncy gps signal. I was surprised that no one else had logged it in a while.

Mrs Snorka loves a good cemetery cache and this was a good one. It was a little exposed so added a little commo. But all was well. TFTC.
Another cemetery cache found this weekend, must of been a booming business back in the day. Thanks fozzy778 for the hide, good sized container too!
After playing Netball in Harcourt this morning, we headed off for some Geocaches and came back via Vaughn Springs. A lovely day with some great caches. A nice quick find here with becc85, neisha07 & boo09. TFTC

Nothing like watching your brother (ahomburg) walking in circles trying to hone in on GZ. Thanks for the cache and the incentive to have a wander through this bush cemetery.
Snuck off the Rogaine course to visit the cemetery and grab this neat little cache. Spent some time wandering through and checking out the headstones; it's always the interesting to see the oldest ones. Lovely winters day, love the hidey-hole. TFTC

I was in the area volunteering for a nearby Rogaining event with geo brother "Misthills" and sister in law "Kwokka" we were testing the equipment and headed out for a walk and couldnt resist picking up the caches in the area. After finding the nearby Multi, we headed back towards the event site with a small diversion to this one. I was initially walking in circles to find this one, but Kwokka was onto it and found the well hidden cache first. It's been a while since this one was found.
