Talk about lack of research at home. Driving round in circles today, trying to grab these caches. I was thinking to get all these in 1 park, but that will teach me to pay more attention. Once i parked up, this was a quick find, with barking hound next door, waking the neighbourhood. I found a container with log anyway. Container had a fair bit of water in it, and log was soaked. I signed a piece of wood, which some previous finder had done. Needs maintenance. TFTC. Another special place.
Nice view, container is waterlogged and logbook is saturated. Needs maintenance.
amazing view!!! one of the ziplock bags was sealed nicely with dry paper inside but the container itself was FULL of water. as in i tipped probably an entire metric cup of water out (and all over my leg haha whoops) TFTC!!
Easy to see where this location gets its name. Stunning views, a cool hidden location, the little lighthouse and a big container... excellent cache Nilbog Aus. TFTC. Took Cezak1 TB, left a FP.
As I love lighthouses I just had to go see this one. A really beautiful setting and a nice place to sit down and enjoy the views. There was no logbook in the box so I put a new piece of paper in the box. Interesting to learn about the Rosherville Lighthouse functioning as rearward lighthouse to the shorter one on Grotto Point. Thanks for showing + danke. MacPivi
Tftc! What a great spot and a good find. I didn't even know this path existed!
#72 the stairs were blocked but easy find after bush bashing for a little, it was half out in the open so I re hid it and tucked it back in TFTC
Amazing view and great sized cache. Cool old lighthouse. Thanks for bringing us here. Found with Vicxo22. TFTC.
Stoped on my way to Manly in a bicycle ride. Great checkpoint and environment. TFTC, also BYOP.
I don't know how many steps I've walked up and down today but it's a lot. Cache could do with a tidy up but its a clever hide. Tftc
have to walk down steps left of lighthouse entrance and then turn right do go to the lookout hwere the bench is
A little piece of hidden history with beautiful views. Fantastic find and a good sized cache in an urban setting. TFTC!
Went up and down the stairs because the signal wouldn't settle but returned to the GZ, lay down and retrieved the ache.

We looked around the lighthouse and had no clue of where it was. The hint helped us when I decrypted it but still no clue. It was only when I stuck my fingers and touched the cache. Very bad quality and wet. Put my name in the dirty log. Needs maintenance asap.
Beautiful day for a bike ride to the city! Great spot. Found no probs but water logged and didn’t have a pen of my own to sign. TFTC!
Thanks for your super spot with a bit of history and great ocean views. Saw 2 ferrys crossing at the heads and it’s awesome to see the other Lighthouse and down the bottom there’s one of those amazing gigantic boat that people are just relaxing on as yachts are sailing into the harbour..
This is why we enjoy Geocaching, taking us to some amazing places around Australia.

Out for an early morning cycle over to Mosman, made a few finds on route. I’d made a quick find on a nearby newish one, and then realised the forgotten lighthouse was nearby, yay! Down from the top hit the GZ and made a quick find. Looks like this one has been here a while. Could really do with a new container. Signed the new log paper, thanks former finder and thanks for placing this cache Nilbog_Aus #1881
Found - cache has hole - but previous finders have put paper in plastic bag - so it’s dry. Enjoy view and seat.
Great fun chilling with skinks finding this gem. Wishing I thought a bit more before using hint for a solid find. Yip, soggy older log, but new one is good (unsure if included geopen worked, since I brought my own). Tftlh
Oy what a shlep. You should come from the top down, not the bottom up. But what a great spot with history and a view!
I love caches like this. I had no idea there was an old lighthouse here. What a spectacular view. Almost worth dealing the traffic on Spit Road Thanks you bringing me here. FP awarded for the suprise and the seat with a view.
Cool spot. Quick find with hint. Log is soaked so left some dry pages in a fresh baggy. Thanks for the view.
I was in the vicinity again and decided to track this down. What a fascinating spot. Made a quick find after exploring the area and then referring to the hint.
Gets a fave point.

I love these hidden gems we discover thanks to géocaching. Thanks for the discovery and the view
Very cool be careful and it comes with a nice view of the water. We found a spider in container but it ran away.
Checked a few places then finally found. Great day and enjoyed the location, a hidden find.
I never knew thidtrack down was here, lovely. Cache has a hole, might need replacing, everything quite damp. Thanks!
Never knew about this lighthouse! Amazing little history tour
Had to think a little more logically with the hint but we found it soon enough !

Signed the log but the container was full of water we tipped it out and did our best to dry but container is very brittle and needs replacing TFTC
Parkrun nearby and then some local caches around Mosman before heading south again for some caching along the way. Smashing good spot!

Hmmm...there is zero need to climb a tree ...sounds like you may have come up from the water and underneath the cache?? There is a road and a staircase - which winds down...to a very nice flat platform.....you only need to climb the stairs out!
Fun find! Pretty water leaked though. We climbed the tree instead of crawling under - not sure if that was right though!!! TFTC though!
#467. A nice quick find with the hint. Lovely location that I wouldn’t have know about! TFTC!
Had run past this lighthouse a thousand times and never knew you could enter. A lovely spot. Was caught by neighbour muggle who knew about the cache and was interested to learn more. TFTC!
Another challenge for Geo-rabbit, who didn't come up empty handed. Yes, another CIH. Geo- who will not be included in this post, as he was a little camera shy. Really, he would have gave away the spot, so, no spoiler here. Enjoy the hunt. Interesting history about the lighthouse. Enjoy the view. Thanks goes to the CO for bringing me to this location. So much to see, so little time and so many caches to find.
TFTC - Thanks for taking us to this magical spot. Would never have known this fab view was here. Well worth the effort. A favourite location.
This is a classic example of a place that I would not have known about if it weren’t for geocaching. I certainly knew of Grotto Point lighthouse, but not this one! I rescued the TB , as I’ve had an empty inventory for a while. Thanks for a great hide!
Cache #1 for the day.
Hate this road - and probably the reason why despite passing here many times in the past 10 years, have never stopped for the cache.
Well today had some time off and decided to finally make the find. Found a park nearish to the steps, had GZ to myself and after being a bit more physical than I would have hoped for such a cache made the find.
Thanks Nilbog_Aus definitely a local hidden spot. Cache is cracked, but seal seems alright.
Left TB.

Great geocache,I thought I had to climb down the rocks but I used my phone to see and quite a few bees on the wattle.

Everything else is in great shape!

TFTC. Found along with Mystic Seer on this glorious Saturday. The cache definately requires some maintenance.
Over the the past few years, the Bromance (comprising CrookedPete, Seffnjarah, SwellerFungus and most recently JezNDez) has enjoyed road trips, bushwalking, overnight hikes, mountain climbing, kayaking and other adventures in search of some elusive caches. The first planned adventure for the brand new decade is a multi day hike in Kosciusko National Park bagging Australia's highest dozen peaks and all nearby caches.
Enroute to our adventure, the bush fire crisis unfolded, and with the region on fire and closed, our plans gradually morphed to a caching road trip back to Queensland, collecting unusual and rarer caches along the way.
Sydney;s nautical history deserved a visit today. Coming from a boating background, I understand the importance of this "back lead" to navigate the harbour, especially at night. Cache was found quickly after a walk done from the street above.
Some logs were signed with individual names or initials if log space was an issue, others with "Bromance". Our groups brand new "Bromance" stamp also got it's first use on some cache logs..
Thanks Mr and Mrs Nilborg

My family and I travelled down from Brisbane to Vincentia and Canberra to spend the Christmas/New Year period with relatives. Today my fellow geocaching team members from The Bromance (Swellerfungus, Crookedpete and JezNDez) arrived in Sydney to join me for a planned hike in Kosciusko National Park (ultimately cancelled due to closures by bush fires). The plan was to head to Canberra after collecting them from the airport but the smoke was so bad in Canberra that we decided to spend a few days caching in Sydney to see if conditions improved.
Because of the late change of plans we did not have an organised list of caches to find, instead we identified caches to target on the fly. This was one of the caches we managed to visit.
Another location where parking proved to be more of a challenge than finding the cache! After making our way to GZ the cache was soon located. We used our shiny new "The Bromance" team stamp to sign the logbook to save space. TFTC

A walk in Kosciusko National Park was planned many months ago for the first week of January, before the now infamous fires were but a spark. As Christmas came and went, and the fires grew worse, I was not aware that fires were also starting in Kosi National Park. A day before we were to fly out the park was closed for a few days due to nearby fires, so with the chance of still going, we headed to Sydney. We waited and waited for the warnings to clear, but sadly this was not to be, and in fact, it has gotten much worse and the closures continued. We were not going to Kosi . While this was an inconvenience for us, our thoughts are with those who have suffered so much worse than us in this devastating event.
We decided to stay around Sydney and Newcastle for the week, and salvage as much as we could of our holiday. We had some great walks, cliff faces, beaches, swims and rocky crags. It was a fantastic time all around. Thanks to all the CO’s for the work they have put into these caches.
A nice hidden gem. Thanks for showing me this place.

A couple of workmen right at the place meant we couldn’t really search for it. What a pity but still a very pleasant view
Out on a sunny Sunday morning to grab a cache or two.
After parking under a massive old fig tree i headed past a bunch of riders and down the track.
My first attempt led me a fair way from the actual GZ and it was only after I reconsidered the clue that i repositioned myself and was able to spot it.
This is a beautiful little park with a hell of a view.
Thanks.

Beautiful area and quiet little look out pick this one up after mermaids. Beware the muggles next zero at the lookout itself but plenty in boats and balconeys
Yahoo. Thanks for bringing me to this spot. A good detour on my wall to the spit. Amazing view today of the backburning in balgowlah
Very nice view. After reading the hint and some previous logs I found the obvious spot. The cache was waterlogged but I still signed the log which wasn't as bad as the rest. I took the trackable. TFTC

A quick scout of the area the other day convinced me this was just about possible in the evening as long as I brought my torch.
I was fairly sure where it was, but a muggle on a nearby balcony prevented me from checking.
I spoke to a mate last night who’d found it previously and he confirmed my suspicions.
This evening I returned and quickly found the cache exactly where I’d hoped.

What an awesome spot for a hide, such beautiful views and never new this lighthouse existed. Once we were in the right area it's was pretty quick find. Fav point awarded for location TFTC
What a stunning view! I absolutely love how geoing can bring you to some amazing hidden gems. Beautiful day for it. Tftc
Found this one the 1st Dec whilst we had a Christmas party at Chinamans beach nearby tftc
Sure is forgotten! Incredible, building one of these in this location. Great view, sat down at the bench seat to complete the legals after the find as per hint, thanks Mr & Mrs Nilbog
IT was very hard to find but we got it under the concrete balcony m!
IT IS NOT UNDER THE STAIRS
