No stumps - plenty of rotting logs, did 10-12 meter circles from location but found nothing
A fair bit of wandering and checking the notes but we found it eventually. 12m off the marker in a smaller stump than I expected. Thanks for the cache!
Took us a bit but with the help from some other logs we got it! Also about 12m out.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to yorkoz for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

This one led us a merry dance! As others have mentioned the view to the water is obscured by trees these days. SL at 12.42pm Left: diamond jewel #9538. TFTC yorkoz
After realizing GZ didn't seem right l expanded the search zone using the hint l soon found the cache about 12m out no drama bit of a challenge added my signature and replaced TFTC
Took a while to find this one but turned it up OK. Coords seemed a bit out so enlarged our search
Find # 10733
Found while travelling with sharkiefan, on an extended long weekend.
Today we headed east from Sale to cache on Raymond Island with the Koalas and then drive out along the Mitchell River Silt Jetties.
Another interesting day but this one will take some beating.
2 Ferry rides, half a dozen koalas, some cool letterboxes, a great drive around an island, lookout views over Jones Bay, chatting with the odd fisherman along Rivermouth Rd and poor old Milo, the dog, that just loves Rabbit poo.
We searched for a bit, then after reading a previous log we found the cache neatly tucked away.

Found with FUF009.
A really different day of caching for us. Involving a ferry, an island and a silt jetty. Usually we see wallabies and the odd bluey but today was all about the koala with the odd kanga.
I had a blast. Tftc

DAY FOUR: Raymond Island, Paynesville, Eagle Point.
Eventually found after expanding our search radius to 15m.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, yorkoz

Day 4 of the Bring In The New Year (BITNY) road-trip. Now settled on Bairnsdale and after an early morning wake up by the cockatoos it was off to explore Raymond Island and Paynesville.
Finally found one of these. GPS has us 13m SE of GZ.
Thanks yorkoz for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Nice cache to do on a trip to Raymond island. Cache was deeper into the trees than we expected and toke a few minutes to find. TFTC!
Last day on the island so whizzed around these last few in the car in the fading light. Enjoyed the Lake View series, especially on foot. Thanks Yorkoz.
A week away in Gippsland for golf and caching. Today brought me to Raymond Island, Paynesville and Eaglepoint. A quick find here as the container was uncovered. Great to see some water in the lake. Covered the container and off to find another.
Out bike caching today. Found this one after a few minutes of circling as the GPS wasn't cooperating.
The camo is good enough that I walked past before finding.
Replaced the torn Ziploc bag.

This was found after a bit of a search of the area...was around 10m away from GZ.
So took the wife on a short break over Christmas and New Year, along with that came the mandatory lets find some caches each day.
Started just before Christmas down in Metung in Gippsland and explored the area as well as visiting the koalas on Raymond Island and the beaches of lakes entrance.
After that we spent a few days in Kilcunda and walked the George Bass trail as well as a visit to Philip Island.
A pretty great trip to relax over Christmas and New Year.
Ended up finding 50 caches and 3 new travel bugs as well as placing one... unfortunately I also had 8 did not finds which I think is a record for me.
The caches took me to some wonderful places as I got to see Koala's, Seals, Dolphins and heaps of spiders and creepy crawlies..
sorry for the generic log.
Thanks for the cache and the hide

The cache was easy the container was totally exposed, visible from afar. Just as I opened the cache I got swarmed by mozzie. Signed it and ran for my life. Do not approach without a repellent!
With the recent easing of lockdown restrictions we have taken the opportunity to get away again for a few days. Last time it was Lakes Entrance, and this time we have come to Paynesville, arriving yesterday. With good weather, albeit windy we decided to head over to Raymond Island and give the bikes a work out on the tracks and roads there.
It’s free for passengers and bikes on the ferry so what a bonus!
We headed right after leaving the ferry and from there worked our way round the island zig zagging back and forth to pick up caches along the way. On the way we encountered a range of roads but particularly enjoyed the more track-like sections with its patches of soft sand.
We didn’t see a lot of wildlife, but the mossies were abundant every time we stopped unless there was wind blowing. This meant we needed to be in constant motion to keep them at bay,
We had walked and ridden along the lakes edge to get further up on the island and meet up with the road back to the ferry. This is one of the caches we picked up on the return journey.
A quick stop and a short search. Found in the second place we looked.

Found by edmil & maddie @ 11:43am the cache needs a little maintenance, unfortunately we had run out of cache repair stuff so were unable to replace parts of the cache. Dried as best as possible. This was our second attempt at this one the first was 7/3/2010 so it has taken over 10 years to get back to get this one. Success this time. tftc

Nice ride with my family. The last one on the island. Now I have found them all!

Gray day out with the kids. Left TB - Koala which we thought very relevant given the area! TFTC!!
Made the trip over to Raymond Island, with the idea of getting a few of the caches there. The longer we were there the more the rain threatened, until it eventually broke into misty showers, making a dismal day.
Thanks to the CO of this series, we enjoyed our visit here and finding your cache/s.

Out for a very welcome impromptu visit to Raymond Island with BigrobV today. I was so excited as we have been wanting to get here for ages! We decided to bring our bikes along to try and complete the island. This cache was a simple find after tramping around in and under a whole lot of bushes we didn’t need to. Sadly no TB in here but I did pick up a Pathtag and dropped some other swag in. Thanks for the hide
Out for a semi last minute trip to Raymond Island with NoonaB for a caching trip on bikes, we have been wanting to get down here for ages and finally today was the day, thanks for the hide

** Ready to Walk? **
The Raymond Island Ferry will be out of service for three weeks in October
as it undergoes its major two-yearly routine maintenance.
The ferry will be out of service from October 9 to 30 of 2017
A pedestrian water taxi will pick up and drop off passengers
between the jetty near the Raymond Island ferry terminal, Slip Road boat ramp, and Paynesville CBD.
So walking to this cache is the only option (without knowing a local or some planning ahead of time)
