A drive north today to grab two caches in this area, one for a particular challenge. Both caches help with my challenges of which are becoming a little "challenge to keep forfiling. The first was a multi down the road and a fun one to do. The next was a drive down the road further to try and find this one. I wondered around for a little before I used the hint to help me lock in an area to check. A high reach and it was found easily. This cache was a help in having a particular attribute I needed to finish off a challenge I had been working on. I signed the log and replaced the cache as found and was happy with my find. I am giving this a favourite point for the hard work i did in getting here and for the cache still being here, lol.
What a great place to hide a cache! Absolutely loved the drive to GZ and all the sights and sounds of a small country town right in our backyard! Once I had pulled up at GZ I missed the hiding spot but came back around and found it, time to retreat to the car to fend off the mozzies and sign the log, back again to rehide as found. Thanks so much for showing me this area LadyScrap!
Hatzofff and I are on our way north, and this is a short detour for a couple of caches.Interesting spots for fishing and launching a Kayak!Log signed and cache replaced as found at 2:38 PM on October 27, 2023. TFTC, LadyScrap
Travelling and caching with RoddyC. We spotted a multi on our way to this one.Interesting spot. What a great area where can we launch the tinnie?TFTCache LadyScrap
After grabbing the nearby multi we decided to continue down the road to grab this oldie. We’ve been meaning to grab it for sometime now but considering it’s quiet the distance from anywhere we never had the opportunity to grab it.
We arrived at GZ which has plenty of parking than we wandered over to the most obvious spot and after a brief search the cache was in hand and our name was in the log.
Thanks for bringing us here.

So many cars travelling on this road to nowhere. Thanks for placing this cache TrueBlue(QLD)
After attending GS1947’s event in Caboolture BM75 and I decided that a return visit to the Sunshine Coast would fill the day nicely…
So after pretending I knew something about archaeology in a search for a long abandoned town we spent the day targeting park’n’grabs that turned out to be anything but…
A road neither of us has ever been down… and an oldie that was found nice and quickly…
Thanks TrueBlue(QLD)

Found it on the 15/4/2023 with the help of photos once finding service. I recommend mosquito repellent. There is no pen or pencil so byo or replace
I often wonder how CO’s choose their cache location. This one is in the middle of nowhere, although there are a couple of free-campers enjoying the quietness. Cache in good condition in a likely spot. TFTC

Out with Bris, & the M& her Cubs, our intent is to wrestle a for the September Challenge. After checked what was available to us (more so me) we made plans and today we all started once again at sparrows to commence a long day racing about like crazy cachers.
Our first cache was one we had overlooked months ago when we cruised up the passage tackling the Love Hate Series. Today we are back via a land assault and find it we did

A day out caching with The Green Geckos, Muggle65, MummaBear66 and her clubs. Our target caches where for a challenge cache. I am still one short but I will get there.
Plus one was put on the list for it’s D/T
Quick easy find.
We all had a great day today but it was long day.
I found 15 today. 13 traditional and 2 mystery.

I proposed the rebekah at this geocache. Learnt to use a needle, and put the question in. She said yes!
Thanks for the cache. So much.

This is our second trackable and a very special one. After a day geocaching in some rough conditions, our last stop was this cache and a surprise, my partner Aiden (Moffatt11) had hid a message to me asking to marry him in the cache- of course I said YES!
For the second time we found ourselves bush camping somehow in the exact same spot as we were approx 3 yrs ago on coochin creek in the pine forest! Checking out the map, i defs wanted to see where Roy’s rd went! So here I am! And I’m releasing a CITO trackable, as this is exactly the kind of place I love to find. Especially so close to big populations! Somewhere to get back and enjoy some unspoilt nature! Have been enjoying the glasshouse mountains very much! Apart from the heights sometimes haha!! Hopefully the trackable can find its way back to us someday to join its geocoin partner that’s too beautiful to leave the caravan
TrueBlue(QLD) I found your cache Roy's Beer at Burrum on 11/6/2022, 3:55 pm. This is my find 3494 and find # 8 today. Never driven down here before. Lovely drive, such a peaceful place. Cache was easily found. Thanks for taking me here and for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
4/7/21 Find #4857
Post lockdown, Fangsoki and I really needed to get out into nature for a bit but weren’t really quite sure where. Then Fangsoki had this idea to go and have a look at the Coochin Creek Camping area and see what it was like these days.
As good an idea as any if you ask me. So off we headed.
Arriving at the campsite, we were quite pleased with it, a nice tidy little area really. We decided to scope out some more of the Coochin Creek area, and then I noticed this older cache here and was keen to grab that too - I mean it would be silly not to really!
Pulling up, I made the dash through the long grass to the likely hide, used a nearby item to give me a tiny bit more height, and made a quick find.
Thanks for the cache TrueBlue(QLD).

After finding the AL at Beerburrum the GPS took me on a rather direct route through the forest to get to Roy's Road. It was a bit rough but the Corolla handled it well. I now know where Roy's Road goes to. The grass around the cache was pretty high and the mozzies were ferocious. It took me a minute or two to find the cache.
All good with the cache. TFTC TrueBlue(QLD)

I've always wanted to know where Roy's Road went ... now I know [^].
Nobody fishing nearby, so it was a quick, easy grab. Signed the log and mopped up the bit of moisture in the container. Thanks for the adventure.

Found this on the way to an adventure. Having read about it the week before I knew it was in need of some TLC so we had a replacement cache to go for this teenage cache. Duty done it was time to get ready for the business of the day.
Quick find first thing in the morning. Cache has seen better days, but we had a good selection of containers to replace it. TFTC!
As far as I'm concerned this is false advertising. There was definitely no beer nor should there have been with the current restrictions. Others more prepared replaced the damaged goods on the way to a paddle to collect love letters / hate mail. Thanks for keeping this oldie going LadyScrap.
Sitting on 3998 finds and a milestone planned we decided on this oldie near our launch point to have me perched on 3999. The container most certainly had seen better days falling apart as I lifted it out of the hide and the swag inside soggy and smelly . I had beaten my way in through chin high grass so meandered back out so we could resurrect this cache by replacing the container. Luckily today we had a bag of varieties to choose from . Sealed up the original soaked log book and placed it in the new container along with one or two pieces of salvageable swag. Only one Question?? Where was the beer?? Tftc
A quick stop on the way back to camp after a lovely paddle up the passage. This one needs some TLC. The container has a large hole in it and needs replaced.
The log book has been soaked and the pages are fused together. Managed to leave my mark, but it needs some urgent attention from the CO.

Easy find once hubby adventured into the long grass. Everything is very wet and the container is broken.. needs maintenance.
Found this one on our way up to baroon pocket damn, unfortunately, the container here has not held up well so it will need a new one and a new log, didn't have anything with us at the time. But we enjoyed the spot immensely thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
Gpander was the brave one to fetch this one on this hot day! Thanks for bringing us to this great little spot. Loved all the river spots along the way.
Having always deemed this one too far off the beaten track to go visit, today was the day we had earmarked for this lonely cache. Was surprised to see the farming settlement or small neighbourhood just prior to reaching GZ. A quick find at GZ and the two TB's were liberated to travel to Tassie in 2 weeks.
At a coffee date with 4ando earlier on in the week, we had discovered that we both had this cache on a possible hit list for this weekend but were going to be using two different forms of travel to get there if we made it.
One of us was going to be throwing caution to the wind and arriving at a breakneck speed, twisting and weaving the course, facing dangers at every turn and living life on the edge. Seeing one of us was planning to arrive on a jet ski, and the other chauffeured by a learner driver, it’s hard to tell who was being described here.
My daughter had her lead shoes on and made quick work of the drive. I hardly had time to reprimand her for driving so fast. I only got through a couple of articles in the paper before the Google lady told me to “get out”, Arnold Schwarzenegger style to look for the cache.
I looked out the car window and there was something that caught my eye right next to us. “Keep the car running, I will be back in a flash”. That is of course if The Flash lost all his super-speed and put on a few kilos. I walked through the long grass and came up with gold. Now back to the car to practice a 3-point turn in the dirt. Lucky me! tftc

Went to meet some friends camping nearby and noticed this cache. At gz my geo senses were on high alert and I saw a likely hide. Sure enough there it was. Perfect spot for hide so I decided to drop off my new travel x travel bug. Thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

Heading down to Beerwah to get some tyres fitted to the Geo Truck. The Gro Dawg you know we've never been to the end of Roys Road and I hear there is a cache down there. So it was through Beerwah along Roys Road where lo and behold there it was the Prize, Quickly signed sealed and returned to it's hidey hole

1968, The Rolling Stones scored their seventh UK No.1 single when 'Jumpin Jack Flash' hit the top of the charts. Keith Richards has stated that he and Jagger wrote the lyrics while staying at Richards' country house, where they were awoken one morning by the sound of gardener Jack Dyer walking past the window. When Jagger asked what the noise was, Richards responded: "Oh, that's Jack – that's jumpin' Jack."

I spent a lovely ANZAC day enjoying not being at war and kayaking on the Pumicestone Passage. I thought I'd pick up this cache on my return. I took one of the TBs and will try to find something exciting for it, as instructed!

This cache looked very lonely and isolated on our maps. So stortigirls and I decided to pay it a visit after work today. After a lovely drive through the forest, we were surprised to see farms and houses again as we got closer to GZ. Shortly after civilization again disappeared again, we reached GZ. As soon as we got out of the geomobile, a swarm of very hungry mosquitoes greeted us. There were that many of them, I thought they were about to fly off with us! Luckily, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
I was out for an after work caching run with Selva Girls, and we had decided today was the day to turn this green box into a smilie. It had been sitting unloved on our maps for far too long. After quite a drive we were surprised to see houses and farmland the closer we got to gz, since we had just been commenting about how far away it was from everything. We pulled up near gz, and were nearly carried away by mozzies as we searched for the cache. Fortunately it didn't take long, and we quickly added our names to the log, dropping a couple of TB's for the next finder. Tftc LadyScrap
After climbing Wild Horse, we headed down Roys Rd to find this one. Funny how wide and smooth the first half of the road is compared to the section after the bridge. Mrs OC made the call as to where the container would be located, and as usual she was correct .
This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #3237. Thanks **LadyScrap** for bringing us here. Feel free to discover our trackable TGQNRV .

Found cache quite easily. Thank god for aerogard tropical strength as there is millions of mosquitos.
A pretty area but mossies are a killer. Bring a few litres of repellent. After looking here and there we found it. Now to get away from the mossies
Found it on a day scouting for new locations and I found this one, the log was wet inside the 2 wet snap lock bags I tried to pat it dry and I managed to write on it but some of the contents are mouldy. left a tb TFTC
Fishing in the area and saw this was nearby. Had to do a drive by and grab. Thanks for the cache!
Exploring Bells creek after a day fishing. Poor reception for reading, but satellite readings were ok. Found after a little circling. Trackable dropped off. Great spot. TFTC.
Out on a spontaneous geocache hunt /family drive on a rainy Australia Day. Climbed Mt Beerburrum earlier and decided to divert in to Roys Rd to explore where we'd never before ventured. Very nicely surprised and there's a geocache here too !

Found this one. Drained the water from the container but everything in it is still damp. Needs a good dry out. TFTC.
Wow. Great location and I enjoyed the road to the cache also. Saw lots of birds and stopped off for a couple of pics. On a day off after getting my caste removed this morning. First cache find in celebration of caste removal. Great hint too! Tftc

T-Tech and I planned to take a bike ride at Ewan Maddock Dam this afternoon, but the rain came down and delayed that for a couple of hours so we decided to take the drive out to Coochin Creek to grab the two caches here.
The Suby took the wet roads in her stride, and we went straight out to the cache at the boat ramp, but that turned into a DNF We then headed back to this one, where T-Tech graciously offered me his raincoat Very chivalrous, I thought [^] However, he then declined to join me in the hunt!!! Geez....
GZ was obvious, but I am slightly vertically challenged so the grab was a little interesting I took the cache back to the car for the signing of the log, where I made sure that T-Tech got a little wet And of course we needed to get a photo of the returning of the container [:o)] Time for some fortifying coffee and cake, so we made our way back to a favourite café.
