As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been longer than 28 days since the last reviewer note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact us (by email) once the cache is in place, and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
I found this one a few years ago but didn't sign the log then. I was driving past today so thought I'd make a quick stop to sign the log, unaware of the current inactive status. I found the cache OK, still in the same spot. The container needs a new lid but apart from that I didn't think it was in such a bad shape. In any case, I signed the log and continued my trip to Ballarat unaware of any problem until now... TFTC!
It seems that this one has been found & is in need of some TLC.
I live in Ballarat & dont get to c'maine as often as I would like. I would, however like to keep this cache active as it is one of my oldest & most crafty hides. I will endeavor to make my way to secure the hide.

This one has been in ruins for months now. About time it was fixed or archived.

no luck for me here. Whatever was here appears to be totally gone. I felt I was looking in the right place but you never know. Some maintenance is required.
We found this cache today at 1:20pm as number 10 of 25 on our tour from Castlemaine to Bendigo. As per previous logger, only part of the cache is still there. Added a log and wedged it in a spot out of the weather till it can ber repaired. Thanks from D, HA & A B-A.
Pretty sure we found the box. It was open inside the drain with nothing in it. Was fun to explore. Hope it gets repaired.

Great spot that had us scratching our head for awhile. Agree with the posts about liking the guardian!
We decided to pick this one up today before the weather got too wet to make the find. The guardian was spotted first, then the cache. Thanks for the hide fozzy778.
Glad it wasn't raining, as I wouldn't have ventured in to find this one. Glad someone was guarding it! TFTH
The 'watchdog' is hilarious! Looked ages ago for this one but it was too wet at the time to venture close to the cache. Quick find this time. TFTC.

Despite a decent look we failed to find this cache. We've been here before and found the same problem this time...Gps wanted me to go across the road, then back again, then south then north. Very araiable but a check of many possible spots still ended up as a failure.
We were here at 14:13hrs on 25/04/2014
Thanks anyway fozzy778

On a cache maintenance run with Datruk and decided to get this one on the way home. With a bit of help from the driver, was able to make a quick find. Thanks for placing this cache.
This is our second visit, we came more prepared this time, torch and good shoes. I also brought gardening gloves as we are pretty squeamish about sticking hands into places that might also hold creepy crawlies. This was junior cacher's first find by herself. I was ready to scurry out of there when she spied the guardian. TFTC
On a brief camping holiday - stopped - thought I had the location sussed but no

Out caching with lumpyjrb on my birthday, having been here when it was too wet to find this one, today it was nice and dry. The cache was quickly found once my eyes adjusted to the light.TFTC.
I was pretty sure I knew where to look but it was very muddy and smelly, and we weren't dressed for it. We plan to return with sturdy shoes and a torch when there hasn't been any rain.
Found on a short 2 night holiday with LumpyJRB who is on holidays from the NT. We had a great day out geocaching and made about 28 finds over 2 days. The main highlight was completing the Fryers Series. The weather was kind to us and we only had one DNF on this trip.
After alot of looking in the wrong spot I managed to get deep into the hunt and after getting my head in the cobwebs I finally came up with the goods. This one deserves a fav point for fun I had making the find. Thanks to Fozzy778. This was a good hide.

On a three day camping trip with the family we set of for a days caching with the son-in-law. After looking in the wrong places I sent Fergzter off on an idea and he triumphantly returned with the cache!!
Well, we got to within 2m of GZ with no joy. We read some logs. We were not sure we were equipped. We came at it from another angle and no further equipment was required. Luckily it was summer and things were very dry. We had almost called it quits when we spotted the guardian and then the cache. We signed the log and replaced. As signal was sketchy, we would estimate that GZ was definitely a few metres out. We were very happy to make the find. Thanks fozzy778. Caching with Tomstache today.
Bit wet surrounding after rains, cache all safe and sound. Tb has gone. Hopefully by a cacher. Tftc
Found by Team Ladava on a rare day when we just said “let’s go caching today”.
Now having grandchildren in Berwick and Geelong plus our commitment to use our first caravan we acquired 12 months ago, plus the usual house maintenance list, this was a very pleasant opportunity grabbed with two (well four) hands.
A bit whiffy at gz but all was well.

Our thanks to fozzy778 for the cache and bringing us to this location.

After donning the gum boots and turning into a sewer rat and with the aid of the iphone torch the guarded cache was soon in hand. Swapped small charm for ace of spades number 8 card. SL TFTC
micheena - hubby and I have tried this one before, but without torch and the right foot wear had to leave it. kerdyn21 braved the gumboots and entered the dragons cave. i eventually joined her, but to late she had slade the dragon and freed the cache.
Still had the water shoes on from kayak caches earlier in the day. No torch needed. Thanks to the guardian, the hide was soon spotted. Had one of these creatures when geodad was a kid 25 yrs ago. TFTC
Looked and looked and looked.
Storm water drain under the road, even the pipes but no joy.

This one was a soggy solo effort after some recent rain. Loved the find it made me laugh out loud. Took some photos to show the family. Tftc.
We were having a little search around here, when a police car pulled up on the other side of the road watching us. Thought it better to move on. Don't know whether they would believe what caching is
Great day to find this one which we have attempted before in rather unsuitable weather. Took dinosaur and left Canadian flag pin. TFTC
Kids liked the guardian! A little slippery and squelchy! Gumboots required at the moment. Took nothing, left horse. Couldn't sign log as forgot a pen. TFTC
just stopped here to check my phone for directions as i was going to pick up a new hot water system, then i realised i parked nearly on your cache.... that led to 8 more before i went home, thanks fozzy778
One member of the team was a bit hesitant to find this one, but luckily the other found it quickly. Nice quick find in good weather conditions. TFTC!
Luckily Michelle was willing to head into the darkness to find this cache! Needed a torch, but found it nice and easily. Beware of the dinosaur!
First thing to do was decide which side to go in on.
After a moment, took the plunge and disappeared into the abyss.
Thanks for a fun cache that's a bit different.

Little bit creepy, managed to find cache. Laughed at the cache watcher, we remember him from way back!
Fairly easy find. Lucky they didn't have the storms here like we had at Mt Franklin . tftc
Out doing a cache maintainance run to Castlemaine today.
I don't like these caches due to the potential they have to cause injury to catchers if they are done at the wrong times.
I also believe they are not within the caching guidelines

Caching with the family. Small member of our family got a fright from the dinosaur. Great, well hidden cache. TFTC.
Found on our caravanning and caching tour of the area.
Weren't expecting to end up where we did but caching takes you to many places you would never go otherwise. Received some turning heads from passing motorists as we emerged from GZ - I'm sure they were wondering what were that middle aged couple up to. deserves a favourite point from us. TFTC

Another day of caching from our Central Victorian base. Couldn't find this one earlier this week so determined today. Tried the obvious again, with no success so stood and talked it through. Then came up with an alternative strategy that would get us closer to GZ and bingo we found it. Clever hide, we should have remembered a couple of similar caches earlier but now we have it.

Sorry fozzy778 for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks fozzy778 for placing this cache.
Suscoe had a ball here today.
Find 12 on an afternoon lap of this area.
Very low levels here made access easy.
What a good bit of fun.
A big thanks to fozzy778 for this terrific hide.

So started a weekend away that took in just over 100 caches, including 4 First to Finds, about 1000 days towards the Unloved Cache Challenge (GC3KWWQ) and some really fun adventures both solo and with new and old friends, topped off with a great well attended event cache at Wedderburn.. (with yummy food too) Thanks to all the various cache owners along the way and my apologies upfront for the copy / paste style logging of those 100 odd caches.. Some of the Caches hadn't been found for between 6months and 18months which added greatly to my 15years required for GC3KWWQ.. Thanks..
Many of the caches were a blur and thus there isn't too much I can add from a single cache log point of view, my apologies to the cache owners who each have put a lot of effort into their respective hides..
I enjoyed the stretch of the legs to find this one.. well after dark and with not a muggle in sight I slipped off into the darkness with torch in hand into a world not too unknown to me.. Thanks Fozzy for the hide.. fav point added..

Just had a call from greg and his mate saying they had found this one. Geocaching without a GPS!!!!!!!!
We had looked here previously for this when it was missing & logged a DNF.
Today as they were driving through town they spotted some suspicious looking geocachers and decided to join in.
This makes 599 finds for us, I won't be there for the next milestone, but I will have got some assignments completed.

Nice Cache, was interesting looking for it while miniature muggles were watching...
The TDC was unable to get together tonight so at the last minute I threw the bike in the back of the Pathy, gathered my gear and started to drive. Little did I know I'd drive 536km during the night, ride about 15km, walk 5km and end up sleeping in the car for a couple of hours along a dirt road out the back of Melton before heading off to work for the day. Needless to say I had a great night which turned out to be a bit of an adventure.
I hadn't intended to do the new biek trail series considering near Bendigo as I live in Somerville, about 200kms away, but I just thought 'hell why not' so continued on until I reached the first cache.
Once the series was completed I headed south to Ballarat and grabbed some caches along the way. I parked right on GZ and got out and started searching. After a good hunt around I read some logs and decided to broaden my search area.
I was soon in a polace I didn't quite expect and after a further look around I finally spotted the cache. The area was luckily free of water making access nice and easy.
Great hide and a favourite for me.

Found @ 15:45. After driving to Castlemaine for lunch with the family, I was given time off for good behaviour. Time spent caching. Fourth for the run. Now on the trip back to Daylesford. I stopped here and after a few moments of being confused, the significance of the cache name hit home. Shortly after I had the cache in hand.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and I liked the cache guardian.
Thanks for the cache fozzy778.

Found with GeoKid and TQQ. Lots of water here AND a cache too it wont get washed away there, but u might if its too wet.
After some significant rains recently I suspect this cache has been washed away. Could not find.
Appears to be hidden in a storm drain. Son and I looked for a minute or so then walked away shaking our heads.
Found at 1.10pm. I went to one entrance, T went to the other. We found the cache with our little wind up torch. The little guardian couldn't stop us. We left with very few cobwebs. TFTC. TNLN.
Not sure if this one is there, searched thoroughly but maybe washed away due to recent rain. There was a green lid on the floor?
Was hoping for an Xmas day find as this was only 450 metres from where we had xmas lunch. We found the hint in the name fine however due to recent rain and our unwillingness to get our feet wet (gum boots needed here!) in a few inches of water, we abandoned the search for another time when it's dried up a bit more.

My fifth find of the day enroute to find my Geo Santa KK at Mt Alexander. Had organised to meet bogonghazy at this one, but he was conveniently nowhere to be seen on my arrival. He appeared with a rather wry smile, just as I was logging the cache. Found after a brief search (missed it the first pass) log signed and returned. TNLNSL Thanks to fozzy778.
Not sure where I should have been searching, but gave up after some time. Yucky looking water!
Gps zeroed out mid way across the road, was not going into the drain today as it had stagnant water ankle deep....might give this one a miss.
