As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Finally sorted out a replacement container
Apologies for the delays - Mostly due to the sudden loss of my father and need for me to be interstate recently.
I will put the new container in place this weekend and enable the cache once more.

The lid of the cache is broken and the bag is torn, otherwise good. Nice spot for a cache! TFTC!
The lid to container has rusted, the hinge has given way and the log book is beginning to get moldy. This cache now needs some maintenance.
Found this one pretty quickly on my way to the movies. Great hide and great first cache!
Found it while out & about! Took a while to place back as it was a busy time at the Skating rink..

Our 199th look out 200 nice quick find but we were both a little vertically challenged TFTC
Found on a warm but clear day caching in northern Brisbane. Made a quick find and just had to time it properly. Thanks to Mongy and TheWrightFamily for the cache.
Thankfully this one was not nearly as painful as I thought - except I nearly got mowed down in the car park by some clown. Found the beast after a small hunt. I haven't roller skated since the 1980s - before I was a teenager!. TFTC
This was cache # 32 of 34 on day one of my Brisvegas Tour. It has been along time since I got a pair of skates on, the last time I did it I knew that if I was to fall over that It would hurt real bad so I have retired from this activity. My thanks to Mongy (Adopted by TheWrightFamily) for the cache.
Found at 1150Hrs. This one took me longer to find than it should have.
I see that this that this cache has been found and signed by a group of Stafford Guides and the log was dated 17/5/10, ie. a week after today! No online log though.
Thanks Mongy and TheWrightFamily

Found this afternoon on our caching run. Easy find by Andrew. Thanks for the cache, Andrew and Maryan
Found it!
I went skating once here 3 years ago, playing a hockey game with Chris Sampson !

Found by Mary & David at 1550. A big complex, but few people about, so an easy find. Our thanks to TheWrightFamily.
Easy find on a sunday when no one is around at the skate-way. Geo-dad used to go to this skate way many a time as a youngster. TFTC - Wells Inc
It Seems that Saturday nights are still busy even now.
Managed to locate the cache and sign quickly.
Putting it back in place was more of a challenge, as the Skating had just finished for the evening.

A nice easy grab while in town for a wedding. This one was exactly where I thought it would be, and while the car park was full, everyone was inside having fun. TFTC.
I found the GPS off by about 7m, but it didn't matter, I had my caching eyes on and walked straight up to it. TFTC
An easy find today whilst on a Driver's Course teaching students how to navigate.

Great hide, and fun memories -- I remember skating here as a kid. I'd undoubtedly fall over and hurt myself if I tried now! TFTC!

Brisbane seems to have a plague of little tins. The good thing is that they are easy to find when you look in the right place. This was one of those.
Even at this time of night, or should i say morning, i had to wait for the occasional muggle driving by. Found the cache fairly quickly once the coast was clear. Nice hide, good camo. Signed the log @ 1-50am. TFTC
Ride past here most days to and from work - out running while teaching GeoSon riding skills and needed a stop - ended up being longer than intended as was overun by muggles attempting to put it back!
Australia Day and the only muggles were a father and son riding past on a bike and then a carload of 'yobbos' yelling abuse to everyone as they drove past.
Nice little stroll looking at the cannon whilst a lady on the balcony nearby was busy chatting on her phone. Waited for the Garmin to give the location and sat down for a while to pick up the cache and complete the log.
I was expecting to get mowed down by a skateboard rider or two, but they must have all been in the building. SL. TFTC Mongy & Wright Family
A nighttime jaunt meant fewer muggles but still had a close call. A good hide and a nice quick one. Cache in good condition TFTC
Busy busy spot!! Snuck up to GZ and grabbed container before going back to the car to log it and then sneaking it back again. TFTC
Nice quick dash and grab. There were people coming and going, but it just took a bit of timing and it was done.
335 - Found at 11:09am. Nice easy find, but we had to wait a few minutes as a muggle parked their car right at GZ and we had to wait until they left the area before we could do a search. TFTC.
Late night run with the Geokids and the sixth for the day. All nice and quiet this time of night.

Found with Gunnie69.
Gunnie was armed with the GPS and decided to use the "phone conversation" trick as I searched for the booty.

This was actually a lot easier than I expected it to be given it's location. SIlver Sovereign along side, we were in and out in a couple of minutes. We had no trouble with parking, even with the rather unaccommodating sign nearby... Have they no respect for us sporty types...
Cheers

At 16:15 We ignored the sign about parking and stood by the cache obviously (we hope) waiting for some friends. They didn't turn up! TNLN. TFTC.
Great spot indeed. Almost in plain sight too!
I had a lot of khaki on today so I took a notebook and pen to give the appearance I was checking the structural integrity of the area. Works a treat.

Yes I remember having a skate here once or twice, and a fall three or four times. Found it OK, TFTC.
Hi TheWrightFamily,
I am posting a note here on one of your caches as I haven't been able to contact you through the contacts.
You picked up my 2008 Australian Geocoin about 4 months ago, and so I am writing to ask you to please move this coin on soon as I would like to keep it moving.
Thanks
Tony

After a bite to eat and a hiding from the mid afternoon heat Geo Mummy and I headed out in an attempt to retrace some caches I had done 1 year and 1 day earlier as a friend from WA took his ‘muggle mate’ (me) out to show him what caching was all about.
I let Geo Mummy (wife) do the searching as I knew where it was already, she found it fairly quickly but needed someone taller than 5’2†tall to recover it.
Very heavily muggled area and it took several attempts to retrieve and replace the cache without being seen.
Does the first ‘tag’ in a revamped cache class as a FTF???

A Roller Skating Jam Named Saturdays was transferred from Mongy to user TheWrightFamily
Does this cache need a new adopted owner?
If so, we'd be glad to look after it as it is very very close to home.
What do we need to do to adopt it?
We will check out the logs and make sure there is a new logbook tomorow and ensure that it can start out the new year a fresh.

Found on a raid of Mongy caches which haven't yet been adopted. Found location nice. This would make a good cache to adopt.
Found today after a short search. Grabbing the container to sign the log took much longer! The new micro logbook I had was a touch O.S. so the the old one remains yet. SL. Thanks.
Yep, got a park near GZ and made the grab, interesting cache, thanks for the hunt!

Easily retrieved the cache but while I was signing the log a muggle parked beside me. Had to wait until they got things from the boot and then wandered off before I could replace it.
Found this one on our 24 hour Caching run around Brisbane and the outer suburbs.

Found on the big caching run with Skippy and Parrothead from South Australia. Much fun was had by all as we cached for 24 hours - cache was fun - log was signed - thanks for the cache.
Cache 3 of 40 on a big day of caching with Kholometers. Easy find despite the muggles interested in our antics. TNLN, TFTC.
Found this one fairly easily today. I was able to reach it, and I grabbed the geocoin. Thanks Mongy FTC.
Easily found but getting hold of the cache required more inches. So Mr G grabbed the cache and we sat in light rain filling out the log.

THENANKS went out caching today with 'Liz and Bruce' and this was the twelfth of 34 finds for the day. [^] Once again it required a bit more stretch than I had to offer but with Bruce to the rescue it was all good.
