Hmmm... final is missing. Looks like a big digger thing has eaten it !! Will need to decide what to do with this cache.
Needed some exercise after a large Xmas lunch, so this looked a good one to start with. Lovely wee cemetry at the first WP and enjoyed the hides at the other WPs. No luck at final though, even with 6 of us searching. There were tractor tyre marks near GZ so wondered if the cache is still there (it hasn't been found in several months).
Love this kind of cache. History combined with mystery.
Got WP1 licked. Got to WP2 and that went well too. WP3, mmmmmm...... didn't get past this point.
Will watch, revisit and ponder on.

Solved the first puzzle, but it looks like there are SIGNS of something missing where the clues point.
Could not find wp1.At the coords there was a place that looked as if it should have been there but was not.
Spent over 5 hours on this one with no result. Struggled with all the WP's and spent nearly 2 hours searching over 3 visits at final. Final hint no help as area surrounded with hint items. Don't understand how others could have completed this cache easily. Certainly the most frustrating in the last 3000 caches I have done.

I've been chipping away at this one for quite some time now, doing stage by stage while in the area. Completing the Urban Illusion series was good training for this one as it helped me get me in the right frame of mind. Finally managed to get to the final today to complete the formalities.
Thanks for a most enjoyable multi, and all the effort that has obviously gone into setting it up.

Finally knocked this one off today - yay! Started over a year ago and cleaned up WP1 and WP2 quickly but failed badly on WP3. Came back a couple of months ago and found WP3 quickly this time (dunno why I couldn't the first time, it just wasn't my day) but then bombed at GZ as I didn't have enough time to search thoroughly and I wasn't sure what I was looking for. Gave it some thought in the interim and was pretty sure I had sussed what I needed to look for today - I was right, I had the cache in hand within a couple of minutes This was one of the more ingenious and enjoyable caches I have done, thanks for the thought and effort in setting it up!
An excellent cache, by far the best multicache I've found so far!
The cemetery was reasonably easy, I just had a bit of trouble with the pohutukawas and the Clouts. The checksum fixed the problem. The next stage was very clever, I thought. The third stage wasn't too hard, and then the final stage (under a rock?) was pretty fun. A great cache all round. TNLN, TFTC.

An interesting wander around both the Hutt River and different types of caches.
WP1 took some effort, primarily because two Muggle dogwalkers decided to have a conversation in front of the large monument for about half an hour while I was trying to get to it, and then I miscalculated the Roman numerals (TFT Checksum!).
WP2 and 3 forced me to re-think my preconceptions about the dimensions of cache containers and waypoint locations, but were relatively easy finds once I was in the right mindset.
As I approached GZ I began to wonder about the usefulness of the hint, but after about 10 minutes of searching realised that it was actually very helpful and I'd looked at the cache at least 3 times without clicking to what it was.
Some water has got into the box so the logbook is a bit damp.

Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 133. Was doing other caches in the area so made the effort to find this as well. Excellent cache. Thanks.
Enjoyed the walk along the river with Drawp, and all waypoints were fine. Enoyed WP2 in particular, and final cache was appealing to the younger GC'rs.
Was compelled to have another look at this one after noting some successful logs during the day. Gave a little thought as to what I should be looking for on WP3 after being in a similar situation recently on another cache, and came up with what I was looking for instantly. The final cache was cool. TFTC
Got round to some cache maintenance today. All waypoints, including the final are fine. We have added a clue for the final, hope it helps.
I too have had failed to find WP3 about 3 times in the past few weeks, despite having a few helpers along for a different perspective. I've enjoyed the hunt so far though.
Another good multi-cache - thanks for setting this up. Pleasant walk / drive along both sides of river.

This was a most enjoyable cache that took us to quite different and interesting spots. Liked the varying perspectives of the river and the clever clue placements.

Capers right. My eyesight let me downwhile counting the clouts-yeah right. Got my maths slightly wrong which took me close but not close enough to WP 1. A bit of contemplation and meditiation and sorted things out. Some muggle trouble at WP2 (muggles in Hivis vests that is) took a different approach and snared the co-ords unseen. No trouble at final. - red ring + Sydney dragon boat badge. Hot muggy afternoon, have been drinking like a lizard haha.TFTC.
What a cool treasure hunt! Really enjoyed this one. TFTH!

Did this over a few days the final wp and cache today.. Nice walk to the final location and clever hide.. Spotted it pretty easily, but good effort goes into this one.. Well done.. Thanks for the cache..
6.30pm. Thanks for a great multi. Very well done, we enjoyed the chase. Picked up the T.B. Thankyou David and Michael.

Managed to complete this one with a combination of driving and walking. Nice range of camo, especially enjoyed the last one. Very well done, many thanks.

Got caught out at WP3 with a voice from above, and there was Roaming Kiwi killing time between caches. He helped our failing eyesight and accompanied us to the final where Punga proved his eyes weren't too bad afterall with a pretty quick find, going straight to it!
Very nice to meet another keen cacher while we're out on the prowl.
TFTC and interesting hides.

Had the initial answer a while back and thought about doing it - but you know thought - thought just never got back too it until yesterday while I was thinking about placing another cache and then remembered there is one around here somewhere and thought that I better solve it first. Now that's another story!!!!
Found WP2 and WP3 late last night and was in the area this morning so decided to do the final.
Found it with Mrs Yeetree - cool camo. Now I understand the clue. Found it easily GZ bang on. Dropped of Pez TB. Thought the Pez would like this location. TFTC TNSL

Yes, contacted owner of missing TB when we disabled cache, so have mow marked it as missing.
After finding the cache, we returned to the old GZ and -- surprise surprise -- found the old log book! We put it inside a new bag, and left it in the new cache. But the old log book is in a pretty sorry state, and needs careful drying to preserve the pages.
#232. FTF the replaced cache. Enjoyed this multi, and clever way points and final. Unfortunately, since the old cache was lost, the "Grave Digger" TB is probably lost with it.

We have replaced the cache at the final way point as the other one was lost when the location was bulldozed by the council. The new GZ is about 100mtrs away from the old GZ so if you have completed WP3 you will need to go back and get the new co-ords. Enjoy
Found up to wp3, but got beaten by the final. Looked long and hard, but still no luck. Is the cache still there?

Made it to the 3rd stage but couldn't locate/identify the final clue Any extra hints from the owner would be appreciated as really want to get the travel bug thats in there! I have the matching t-shirt
wow...what a wonderful cache...we enjoyed every section of it and the last bit certainly had us puzzled.

After a false start with the posts and roman numerals (glad we live close by!) we were underway. Loved the graveyard. Drive past this all the time and never once noticed. Thanks for showing us more of our backyard.
I can see where the inspiration came for the various way points Final took a little while and I must have looked there a handful of times before blondie took charge and revealed the very tricky hide - actually blondie found ALL of the way points so clearly I lack practice! T=N, L=Santa. Thanks for an enjoyable first cache for 2007 on a very hot Wellytown day!

19:23 Fitting that Xmuggle found the final as I circled around it with the GPS while she 'just found it'! (Normally is other way round). This was a great way to spend the latter part of a sunny afternoon. This cache should be held up as an example... It had been on my 'to do' list for ages and now I'd finally got a round tuit...
Great that a Muggle family found it early on, wrote in the log & put it back! They need a GPS! TNLNSL.
Thanks J & K

Great cache, a lotta fun finding all the clues. Yep I did find this one, my GPS batteries had expired and there it was just looking up at me.. I really enjoyed all the different idea's that went into each waypoint, the cache lives up to it's name. A True Chameleon. Thanks for this one I really enjoyed completing the hidden challenge's. What a clever cache, thanks for going to the trouble! We thoroughly enjoyed it. - jandal eraser, + coloured pencil set.
Found with nzcoozer. We did the questions in the dark by torchlight, which was rather fun and completed it the following morning.
Great cache. We visited the first waypoint in the dark. I liked the hiding method used for the final cache.

1608. This is our second multi today and we would count both of them as being top rate. Each waypoint was well though out and well executed and we thoroughly enjoyed them all. The visit to the little cemetery at the start was very interesting and from then on we were completely captivated by the originality of the hunt.
This was a very well set up cache and all the coordinates were accurate. It was fun guessing just what the next waypoint might be and when we got to the final we were totally amazed that our "way-out" guess was actually correct!
Thanks for a great time.

Nice work! A different kind of thinking when you don't know what you're looking for. Spent AGES on the second waypoint. Far to many possibilities (or so it seemed). Very enjoyable, thanks a lot.
A very good theme enjoyed a lot helped when i stopped looking for what i wanted to see and just looked on all the hides.

Wished we had done it on Mountain bikes. Cache had been discovered accidentally by muggles, they signed the log and looks like they left it as they found it.

11.30. Found clues yesterday but calculated location didn't seem to have any likely micro then or today on a second look.
Nice one!!! Thoroughly enjoyed this multi, good hides and a rather pleasant walk to them.

Thanks for all your work in setting up this cache. Had problems getting the coordinates from the cemetery but a bit of reverse logic had us on the right path.

FTF Another fun cache
the first micros coord needs changing from S41 A.B ,E174 D.E to S41 A.B ,E174 C.D as it doesnt make sence otherwise.and somehow my answer of 1646 for the A+B+C+D was also spot on for the first micro even though it said it was 1645 on the printout.
Other than those little probs to start, the micros where found nice and quick ,though this is only because of similar ones ive done in the past, this was Very well done ,the final cache had me going for a while but got there in the end, walked past it god knows how many times before it clicked ,ended up finding it by torch light at 6.32pm.
