Alas, the cache has indeed gone. A very strange place for the cache to go missing from. I wonder how that happened? Ahh, well, another ammo can down the drain
A few discussions with other cachers implies that the cache location has been compromised, so with the expense of ammo cans, sistems containers and swaps, I won't be replacing this cache.

A little Rabbitto tells me that this one is likely missing. I'll check it out in the not too distant future.
Yes, it is true and I am indeed that little Rabbitto of which Caughtatwork speaks. With the excellent clues on the cache page that give a very detailed description of the large hide, we were fairly confident that this one is MIA. After already having 2 missing caches from our first 4 stops, we were looking forward to a nice easy c@w pick up here and knock me over with a feather.... Who the heck (apart from geocachers) goes around looking inside these spots and why are they the sort of people that when they find it, can't just put it back where they found it. Rats, I'd already half written my log in my head too. As per the saying, "don't count your caches before they're logged". PS, sorry, the phone cut out part way through the conversation.
On a caching day with Muzza and Barcoder cache # 26 of 30 today. I really overwalked the mark on this cache. Oh well at least we found it. My thanks to caughtatwork for the cache.
This is number 23 of 30 caches found today in company with Muzza and Kiwideb on another great caching day. The weather was perfect, the company excellent, the caches fantastic. Muzza was well ahead of us on this one and was first to the prize. My GPSR decided on a ‘go slow’, but it has been a long day.[xx(] Thanks to caughtatwork for the cache.

This was the last cache of 16 in my day out with Kiwideb and Barcoder. We had completed the caches planned for the day and for me, this was the next closest. Along the way here, Kiwideb and Barcoder did a couple of extras to boost their score along the way.
Under the tree cover, Kiwideb and Barcoder were way off the mark whereas I was able to walk straight up to it and grab it. My thanks to caughtatwork for the cache and a short introduction to the area.

A nice drive on what was to be a long day of finding. I love this area, looks like a good spot for some down hill MTB. Will get it out next time.
Walked past a dumped toilet? When will people learn...

Didn't realise there were CATS on this side of the city as well. Nice little spot. Trouble with going with a 4WD driver is they want to park on top of the cache.
A short walk took us to an easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.

I see we wern't the only finders this day. Didn't notice that when we were there. We may have been there first perhaps. Thought about making it into a proper driveby as we were in the four wheel drive today but thought we'd better get some excercise. I'm waiting for a drive by that doesn't require the removal of ones seatbelt. Don't think I've found one like that yet but a few close.
Thanks C@W for another nice biggy.

I always look forward to these types of caches - it's so nice to get off the beaten track (even if not a long way off) for a while . It's also great to see a really professional cache - designed for the long run, which will probably still be around when the Old Man Gum finally comes crashing down! I really should get into the habit of carrying some decent swaps around with me for the occasional times when I see something I really could use - in this case, a nice yoyo .
TNLN, but did take the geocoin
Thanks caughtatwork

Found this one at 13:55 on a quick trip to finish some business nearby from last month. What a great spot in the bush, all the better for being on such a beautiful day.
Took stretchy frog, left Civil War Geocoin after a long stay with us. Also, I didn't notice the TB that was supposed to be in there but I have been known to miss them before . Thanks caughtatwork.

Found at 4.10pm GAFF1. What a nice and peaceful setting! We don't have to have a "special" attraction to caches placed in these places - there was an anticipation of a bush setting and then as we worked our way around the tracks all of a sudden we were deep into the bush. We approached old man gum and did nearly a 360° tour of him before we found the cache very exposed. We enjoy C@W's swaps, but as usual we don't have anything as good. Thanks caughtatwork for a great cache in a very special spot.
Found with no probs. Nice and big for lots of swaps. Thanks. Been past this area a number of times.

Found this one on a scenic trip from Ballarat to Trawool. An easy find following the directions.
The cache is in great condition and is well stocked. Thanks for this one as it was a quiet road and a nice place to stop and stretch the legs.
Took: Perfume
Left: Dice, Stickers and bouncy Ball.

Back in the area to finish off KL Peak Baggers, this was was another one we didn't do last weekend (wasn't going to go through that breath testing station again). A quick and easy find and we were impressed by the packaging (it can rain a bit up there). Thanks CaW. TNLN
Came at this one from the wrong angle but it was a nice drive along the back road.
There is a parking spot and a 500m track on the back road if anyone is interested in a bit more of a challenge.
TFTC and bushwalk!

Find # 1695 and 16th of the day at 4:35pm. Accompanied by Feathertop on our weekly caching trip. Easy drive by. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Caughtatwork....
I found what I think is my 49th C@W cache today with Oenze for this, the first in his CAT series. The cache was an easy find and has been hidden better as it was lying on the ground at GZ. TNLN thanks C@W.
Found @ 3:45pm.
Last of 12 for the day whilst on a caching trip north of Melbourne with my mate ggkof. Love the ammo can. Left TB Locked Out!, TNSL.

On a trip to visit the parents and to split some wood for them. Yay for mechanical splitters... Anyway, a quick diversion from the main route and there it was. Well done with the container, nice and dry inside.
Thanks C@W

Nice to come across a well packaged cache designed to sill be here in the years to come. Anyone looking for the "how to" on hiding a cache for life could use this as an example. I didn't venture from the car with swaps and given my slow movement wasn't about to walk back to the car so TNLNSL. I am all for [CATS].
Sixth cache for the day on our tour of the Kinklake region, the cache was found at 14:50 in company with Rally and Rubik. After our adventure at Stone to water this was a nice easy cache. Thanks Caughtatwork for showing us this tree.

Let the movement begin! It was good to see some big caches again, particularly after some obvious locations were overlooked for micros today. Unfortunately all my swaps were left at home but the ones on offer were impressive. I must come better prepared.
Thanks for bringing me to this spot,

lovely place and found with ease on route to ride the trails at kinglake... took allen keys and left last Paramedic patch.

Found by Mary & David at 1550. A magnifiicent specimen, and there are also some worthy contenders in the area. How on earth did you just happen to find it? We endorse your campaign, as we usually have problems with the micros that seem to abound these days. Took small blue zip gadget bag, left perfume atomiser. Our thanks to caughtatwork.
On a cool May morning. This was a nice find - a neat patch of bush just off the highway, some great trees, and a great camo job on the cache. I agree - micro caches in the bush are not my thing. Thanks caughtatwork for the good hide.
Found 17:15, we were very surprised when we opened this cache to find that there had been no previous visitors
TNLN, CSI=2.5, thanks caughtatwork.
