Great spot for a cache and the wier was interesting. It would make a nice picnic spot but alas the cache itself appears missing.
Given the number of DNF's over a couple of years, suggest this one be archived.
Beautiful little spot, alas no cache. There was a curious muggle and muggle jr. who were intrigued by our hunting...
Lovely spot for a cache, but suspect the tree has been felled perhaps a new one on a similar spot might be a good idea as great spot - we even had lunch here.
No sign of this one today with mr_roo. The obvious structure at GZ didn't seem to have any places a Regular could hide - even if we were a bird On the up side the river was nice and up, at least 2ft over the crossing near the edges.
No cache was to be found at this location and I wouldnt be using that ford at the moment thats for sure.
Nice easy find, second trip to this one, not able to locate last time due to the proliferation of Council Muggles Works
A nice spot. I see why the warnings are there. Would be lovely with a clear area and some bbq's but the grass may not last.
Last quick grab on the way home from Deua NP weekend. Will have to come back to explore where this ford and road goes. T: fireman L: spiny pig Thanks for sharing a nice spot.
Found on our caching run through Captains Flat and Braidwood. The river was up and I considered a bath for the car after all the dirt roads but felt better of it in case something went badly wrong and we were stuck! Oh, found the cache!
Very pretty spot for a cache at the end of a long day. Our white car had turned to a very dark brown, and we were very tempted to drive it across the river to clean it up a bit, but the water was a little high and the river a little fast, so it off to the car wash. TFTC
Found on a run down to the coast. SL TFTC. The water was a foot over the spillway today with all the recent rain. Great sight.
On of the many on a marathon Australia Day caching trip in the area with Fore!, allrounder, BevJo and Huxley the geo-pup. Left allrounder with the cache (snakey...snakey...) and took the pup for a swim in the nearby waters that were already hosting a family at play on a hot day. TFTC TNLN Fun
Out for the day on a caching trip with Fore!, Shadow!, allrounder, and Huxley. Was a nice quick find and then it was off to the water to let Huxley have a little bit of a play in the water.

Still out and about on the Australia Day weekend - this cache was number 13 of 22 for the day with allrouner, Shadow!, BeveJo and Huxley the geohound. Whilst others did the honours in the discovery, I was more interested in the general location that this one broughts us to and took the pup down to the water where a few people were taking a dip, and promptly threw a stick in for him to chase. This was a cool reprieve from a hot day for the boy travelling around in the car with us. Thanks for the stop.

13th of 21 finds for me today. A quick find before I was left to log things while the rest of the gang took Hux for a swim. Cool (literally) spot, TFTC!!

I had the help of a monkey to climb up and grab this cache for me. I couldn't really see anything around us as it was quite late at night in thick fog.

543. What a great spot - so peaceful. Brrr....too cold and windy today to really take advantage of all this location has to offer but we will be back in about six months time!!! Found cache easily and dropped off a TB. TFTC
Found it no problems, 5yo Geokid took Doll, left fireman, very happy with the swap! Then we dove arocess the river just for the fun of it.

Pulled right up to this one and quickly had it in hand. The little ones didn't even need to leave the car (which was good as they were asleep). In our haste we didn't see the water!
Found with my parents (fergle, traineediplomat), my brother (LittleAmbassador) and aboreham.
This afternoon I headed out with Big Matt as I had quite a few caches in this area that I hadn't yet found.
Pulled up next to the GZ for a quick grab before heading across the causeway to view the water. What a picturesque location! TNLN and TFTC.

Last of eleven for the weekend during a trip south to explore Deua National Park. Quick easy find. Great river crossing. No muggles today except for a woman taking her dog for a walk, but she wasn't walking. She was driving along with the dog on a lead running along beside her!
TNLN. Thanks flattreker.

Cool little spot along our loop circuit. A few other people in the area but not near GZ. The find was made, log signed and then we were on our way again.
Funny how my map of the area was just a little different.
Took TB to move on and TFTC.

Yes this is a nice little spot to stop as a few muggles were doing having a picnic and a swim.
We were out of sight so a quick find log and return and it was back to the highway...

Found with Ultra Violet Z, SuperJaz & Bewilderbeest. We had a great time driving through the country seeing places and finding caches. I'm catching up on logging my finds, sorry its a bit late.
Thanks for the cache
Found with the Team Bananaphone crew of Little Buds, SuperJaz & Bewilderbeest. Sorry I'm way behind on logging my finds, I hope its okay.

Ah, how's the serenity? What a beautiful spot. Thanks for bringing us to it. TFTC

This is indeed a tranquil place and was a great spot to stop on a hot day. We only stayed a few minutes but thoroughly enjoyed the serenity.
Signed the log as Team Bananaphone, the 4 of us were having an Aussie Day picnic/caching day in the area.
Thanks for showing us this place

Found at 12:20 - the tenth on my caching daytrip out with matt_stomper and shell_seeker.
No muggles to be spotted today - shell_seeker and I reached up for the cache due to matt_stomper being more vertically challenged
We then went for a walk down to the causeway which was covered with water - it all looked very pretty, but I was pleased that the Stealth GeoBeast wasn't expected to cross it.
Thanks flattreker

We were lucky today, not many mugglers around. Found with shell_seeker and sw2092. TFTC!!!
Found with matt_stomper and SW2092 on a caching day out. We went for a walk down to the water and saw the road was under a little due to the recent rain. Thought how fun it would be to drive through in a 4WD! Number 10 of 20 for the day. TFTC
Found it - this is the third and only cache we have found today.
Being a nice day all the muggles were out everywhere and as we are new to this we didn't want to test our stealth abilities out so we left the others for another trip.
Nice spot, geo kid had a splash in the water before we moved on.

Couldn't search for this one due to a family of muggles but it looked a nice spot.
On my way to Araluen via Nerriga. An attractive location with an unusual ford - didn't go over it though. Saw the cache before I pulled up so rehid it. Made my swaps, took TB. Thanks.
This was one of the better places we stopped for a cache on our recent trip. Pleasant views, birdlife, and a ford! We made use of this getting some picky's of wet water crossings in the 4WD! There was nothing tranquil about our brief stop here, but definately a great place for a visit, left coin Took nothing TFTC
Visited tranquil waters. Easy to find cache. Took the car across the water to wash away some mud from earlier in the day.
FOUND IT - On tour with Redbudgie1 and Magpyre taking the scenic route to Braidwood.

Find and admire the great place. It really look like best place to drop a TB "Big Jimmy". Jimmy is looking for places near water and "Little Jimmy"
If one was to hop into a kayak and head downstream one would find these waters not quite so tranquil. We’d been here before as this is one of the uppermost put in points for whitewater trips on the Shoalhaven. A fine sunny but cool day found us in the area and we took the short detour off the main road to the ford for a revisit and a cache. No one else around and it was indeed a tranquil spot as we carried out the cache duties. Made no swaps however dropped off the Bad Mojo coin.
Found at 1355hrs with outafocus. "Outafocus" then spent a while taking some photos nearby that were in focus....
I was so tempted to drive across the waters, but thought about the cleaning up of the car afterward. An impressive ford crossing nearby. Swag was quite lite in the box so took nothing, L: Sticker, Quote and Fake rock. TFTC
This is a lovely spot. The tranquil waters were the full way across the crossing. The cache was a nice quick easy find and a very nice way to bring up our 400th find.
Thanks for the cache.

A nice easy find on a sunny Sunday. Couldn't resist trying the nearby 'car wash', great fun. Thanks.
This one took a little bit longer to find than it should have as we saw one live snake crossing the road and a dead one not much further up the track so we were very cautious about where we were putting our feet. The cache was located in the first place we looked and we headed over to where we could see the tranquil waters to fill out the log. The tranquil waters today were running over the full length of thee causeway

Another nice easy drive by.
We thought about crossing the ford and going after the Tallaganda Water Wheel cache, but Dvixen and I both felt the water was too deep for my poor Camry, so we headed off to Braidwood instead. Perhaps some other time.

I wouldn't believe that someone might actually drive across all that water, back home we know bettter! Sure enough, as we were heading out, someone caame along in their Hilux and I watched amazed as they barely slowed before sending water out to each side of the 'road'.

Thanks flattreker for some good fun at this cache. I decided to climb up onto the stump and perch like a bird!!! It was very easy to check my eggs then.
The beautiful creek is running very very well with water right over the road so we had to drive across and back through the water for some more fun. Thanks for showing us this lovely creek and unusual stump.

556-20/29. A very nice spot. The water was over the crossing today. Maybe its always like that. I couldn't resist and had to try a slow drive over and then a fast one back.
Found the cache quick, but had trouble getting and replacing.

Second last cache for the day and this one was a breeze, drove to within metres of GZ and the cache was in hand after only about 5 seconds! Discovered the "Cricket Willow" TB but I either didn't noticed the second TB "Gloria" or it has been grabbed already and not logged? (Although I must confess to not looking much further after spotting the first TB so the second one could've still been in there?)
TNLNSL Thanks again Flattreker!

#646 Used Cacher to help us grab this one. This area is not dog friendly so we couldn't stay and enjoy the waters.
Cache #600
This was perhaps the easiest cache for the day - drove right up to it & the B Team used the bull bar as a ladder to easily retrieve the cache - although he could have also got it standing on the ground. Unfortunately we did not have a lot of daylight remaining, and still had quite a bit of territory to cover, so we didn't have time to do the area justice. Just a quick look & then we had to press on. TFTC.

572. Anything but today. I've never been here before but I'm sure the water isn't usually .4m over the ford. Pictures will follow shortly. It was raining and cold when we pulled up and I was glad the cache was on this side. We spent ages looking at the fast flowing water.
Eventually remembered that we were here for a cache as well so I sent the kid to retrieve it while I sheltered.

8 out of 18 7 on our caching trip to Braidwood and Captains Flat. We're having a great trip thanks to Flatrekker, Sundowners and others. Easy grab this one, did not even turn off the engine. Took cute dog TB. L Racecar TB
Easy find, watched closely by the locals (cows). A few years ago, when I was here, the water was deep enough to wash the car, but quite low today, though still flowing over the ford. Lovely spot.
Well, they weren’t tranquil for long! Not after we drove through at high speed... Mind you, we didn’t traverse the cows at GZ at high speed, and they remained tranquil! Farmers in 4WDs everywhere, and I expected them to ask what I was doing, but they left us be. TNLN, Thanks for the cache flattreker!
Another FTF! . This would be a a great spot in summer, today however was a different story with sleety rain. At least it will keep the farmers happy.
