We went to Albert Park and used the wonderful weather during this year’s ANZAC day. At the end we had found 7 of 8 caches.
This was our find number four of the day.

Went back and forth a bit to find the right area, but got it in the end. Took a travel bug hoping to get to France, and hopefully will help it on its way. TFTC
This one we found quickly. But before we found a part of another cache nearby. Unfortunatly we have not enough time to solve this cache. Tftc!
We walked across the area where the Grand Prix had happend shortly before. TftC!

There is another type of cache about I meter from the one I found both are named " Live Life to the Full " I don't know what to make of it .
Easy find but GP is being set up so have to be careful of muggles . Cache was all intact and hidden alright but I didn't see the geocoin in it . TN left a GC fridge magnet and a geocacheing explanation card.

Nice easy find while killing time before getting on the boat to go to Tasmania. Picked up a TB to move along. Nice and quiet today. Thanks for this good sized hide.

Great spot and good to find a bigger container in this area. I dropped the Pluto GeoKret and took the boot. Thanks ghellard.

Number four out of five for the Albert Park run.
We walked from Monkey trap onto this one which was by far the biggest cache for the day.
We had to wait for some muggles to get under the underpass before going to retrieve the cache which could be seen from around 10 metres away.
This one really should be a regular- its a two litre container and the guidelines for small is 100ml to 1L (although lots of 1L containers are listed as regulars as well!!!)
unfortunately we saw no trackables inside the cache although there were seven listed.

Simple but very effective hiding spot. Could probably increase the size rating TFTC
It was such a nice night weatherise and the wife and kids were away I decided to do a few caches after work over Albert Park way.
This one was a nice easy find with the hint and no one around. Good to see a nice large cache in the city area. Couldn't find the trackable that was supposed to be here though.
Thanks for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

In the area for work. Easy find as it was not very well hidden. Lots of people walking their dogs in the area. Stealth was the key to signing this cache.
The cache page lists seveen trackables as inventory, there are none present. The cache container is very poorly hidden and is on 2 visits visible from the nearby path. it is suggested that no more trackables be left. Not sure how to unlist the inventory. Maybe the CO could arrange some more cover?
Nice easy location. I rode my bike around
The Grand Prix track . Very fun - TFTH !

A nice big cache for a quick find. Not sure of the event happening near by on the ovals. Lots of pretty girls walking around dolled up though.

Found with CJ and this morning on a walk around Albert Park and surrounds this morning.
We'd been nearby doing some higher DT caches and thought we'd stop off at this one as it was nearby. CJ read out the hint and then we searched in the most logical places. We soon had the cache in hand
There were no dog walking muggles around at the GZ at this time of the day The coords and hint are excellent. This was a very clever hide.
Anyway, it was a great morning to chase down more Victorian caches. Thanks ghellard for your cache. SL We picked up a TB and will move it along. TFTC

Quick find on our walk. No one around on a weekday morning, though we may have been spotted as a couple muggles turned the corner to walk under the railway, just as we got the lid off. Hopefully, they were not paying close attention. TFTC! AM and I will move the TB along that we found there.
I just finished a game of basketball and there was still enough light to possibly find a cache nearby. This one was the the closest to the parked car so off I went. Easy find with hint. No trackable tags found inside. Mixed rugby being played in the park. TFTC

We had a birthday party nearby and it finished a lot later than expected. On our way home and I still wanted a cache for today so a short detour had a us on our way past. Ducked in for a quick find.

I was looking for a big cache to leave a large traveller but since so many seem to go missing from here, I'll just visit them & keep looking. [:/]
An easy find on the way home from work. Signed Log.

Staying in the area for our End of Season footy trip, I'd run the Parkrun on Saturday and decided to head back today to find some caches at a slower pace.
This was a quick find to start and much larger than I expected. I left a pathtag.
Thanks ghellard.

Largest find for the day... Must have ridden past a dozen times now and not known it was there. TFTC
We had spent most of the day at the Salami Festival enjoying tasting all the different samples of salami, then headed out to find some caches to finish a fantastic day. We were glad we attempted the caches around Albert Park at night there was no one around and we were able to search uninterrupted.
Thanks ghellard for the cache,

Easy to find this big box. Thanks for the information about the race. didn't know that. Tftc
Went out caching with PantherX and Burge. They had alrady found this one. Whiel on the way to another cache that we all needed to find we stopped off to log this one for myself.
Found during Melbourne weekend with Blue Mars. Nice sized cache. GZ was a bit off but you get that with a phone!
After attempting a cache at the top of the CBD and it being surrounded by muggles and still needing a cache to complete the August challenge, I decided to hop on a tram done to Albert Park.
On my way down I was only concentrating on which tram stop to get off on and how much I was missing the OH - blakeyboy65 after he flew back to England yesterday.
It wasn't until I stopped by the GZ that I took note of the name and sounds stupid but was kinda what I needed. And a reminded to enjoy the rest of my WHV year here in Australia.
The cache was nice and simple to find but there are no trackables in there.
I do enjoy the caches here in Albert Park and look forward to finding some more down here.

After searching and finding other caches in the Park/Lake area, decided to try for this one.
Parked the car near the Pub, took a stroll and was fortunate that there were very few Muggles around.
Well thought out.

Geomum traveling solo today. An easy find. Tried to cover it up a bit as it was quite out in the open. Was disappointed that although 11 travel bugs were registered to this cache, there were none present. TFTC
Day 22 of 31 - over in Melbourne for a short break, nice to be able to get some Australian caching done. we'd just arrived tonight, our hotel was near the Albert Park so we walked the loop round the park in the dark and drizzly weather. this cache was very exposed, but we left it exactly as we found it. TFTC
Quickly found at GZ. Surprised at the lack of cover for such a large cache, but having just arrived from overses didn't know if "this is how it's done here in Melbourne" (i'm guessing not!).
