Another puzzle solved with good co-ords that went with the hint, but no luck for me here, I'm afraid.
Hoped to secure this find without assistance from the CO, but alas, a really clever hide alluded us too. Our 2nd time this week looking for a cache only to stumble upon some squatters. Unsurprising, as both groups are trying to find a good place to hide!
TFTC and the nice tricky hide. My daughter Bellbird Darl and I have been getting a few caches in the area. We are here yesterday and for some reason we couldnt find it. I PAF but the photo we had wasnt anything like it was at GZ. So we started looking again. I was about to call the CO when my daughter said found it and it was her first puzzle cache.
Found with Portstevo on hand after a previous attempt where we messed up the calculations due to a drunkard talking to us in the dark.tftc
Tftc. Had a few goes at this one and finally resorted to a hint from the CO. Have no idea how I missed it! Very sneaky
FINALLY
Feel silly I couldn’t find it before but so glad I have today. Thanks CO! Loving your caches

Finally in the area to try and find this one but didn’t have any luck. Was rather slippery so didn’t stay as long to try and investigate further, will come back and attempt again on a dryer day ??
We are staying down the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
In Port, grabbing a few around this lovely area, where it isn't too busy with the holiday makers.
Wandered about and found what was needed to grab the info needed for this mystery, to come up with some likely co-ords. The clever hide was found after a short search, once at GZ. Given a fav.
Thanks pprass for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Checked on the cache and found it to be still there, however the log sheet was stuffed in the bottom part of the tube and the top wouldn't unscrew easily. Pulled it apart and re-rolled the log sheet and placed it in the lid so that the thread doesn't get jammed.
Well those who know me are aware of my love of cemeteries so obviously this one was on my list. I located the tomb… yes tomb!!! And was enthralled at the story of the man within . Alas after calculating final GZ and taking note of the hint I spent forever in the company of the dead searching every nook and cranny! No luck so after an exhaustive search I resorted to messaging the CO. He very kindly offered to meet me back in the land of the dead (and some living judging by the tents, poor souls) he indicated the nooky cranny I had missed!!!! This is a very sneaky hide but the cache location marvellous! The cemetery was derelict but restored by a local group and is now regarded as one of the best historical grounds. Thanks Pprass for a lovely afternoon sojourn!
Took us a while to find we almost gave up then we raised the creator of it messaged us back with a hint tftc
Found on attempt #2 after some guidance from the CO and a previous finder. Clever hide, can’t believe we missed it the first time. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching. TFTC pprass

A three visit exercise to claim this smiley, solving the puzzle proved a challenge as my caching buddy may have mixed up the final coords and insisted that the container had to be over there
A recalc had a logical final location that made sense, revisiting the next day keen to finish this off but no joy, a search high and low, clues and pics checked, no luck. Took two PAF’s, the CO and a previous finder to come up with the goods. A frustratingly excellent cache, combining all the good things, a cemetery, history and a puzzle to keep the grey matter cogs turning

Found with cullum68 on a beautiful day in port and a little help from co thank you for the cache
Found with nissan65. second time looking for this one . Turned a sad face into a smiley Thankyou for the cache and your contribution to geo caching.
WHAT A SNEAKY HIDE! I needed help from CO and assurance I was looking in the correct spot. It IS there!
Had a good look here today but unable to locate the little bugger. Hopefully next time. Thanks anyway.
oh dear!
a DNF for us this time
perhaps we'll have better luck next time
we think it could've been washed away in the flood, perhaps it would be a good idea to check on it?
thanks

This turned into a bit of a mission.... Yesterday while my wife grabbed some groceries over the road, the boys and I took off to find this and the nearby trad. We grabbed the date needed, and wrung out some coordinates onto the back of a receipt, which of course were wrong - only 500m or so....
Yesterday Samuel and I went to our alternate-GZ, and despite it being on a path, was clearly not the right spot, and a recalculation put us back where we started, almost. Then our DNF of yesterday.
With some help from the CO we returned today, I of course checked the same spot from yesterday, and Samuel straight away spotted the cache, nicely hidden, and in good condition, no syringes up here too, much nicer.... TFTC pprass!

We gave the area a good going over too, only found syringes.... having read back through logs, we'll have another crack today....
DNF for this one, I had a good look all around GZ, also looked at previous logs for any hints.. pprass.

Found with the help of Mrs BillHill, doing some caching around the Port Macquarie area where we are staying for 3 nights. Very interesting history at the grave. after recalculation the cache was found with CO. very sneaky hide.
Log signed and caches replaced as found.

Our final full day in Port Macquarie, so some sightseeing and caching was the go. This was a straightforward cache with the added bonus(?) of many flying foxes overhead. And we didn't have an umbrella between us. Fortunately we were not decorated by them.

A great little mystery cache and an interesting life led. TFTC (log may need replacement soon, starting to fall apart)
I found lots of caches on a roadtrip holiday up to Byron Bay. Over the course of the week, I targeted a variety of caches that worked towards different statistic-based goals. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this fantastic recreational activity.
This one was very tricky as it blends in well. Even with a hint from the CO, it took a short search to locate. Thanks!

My maps wanted to put me in the water off Newcastle but I eventually was able to figure out how to input the correct coordinates. It was exactly where I expected. TFTC
Half to turn this into a found, with CO support.
Mrs Riddell was over thinking this as it’s the third time here and not so hard a find.
Found on the day that Port Macquarie is almost surrounded by wildfires.
The wind seems to have settled but it’s so eerie.
The bats are flying around here and it’s only about 5pm and the bird life is fantastic as it looks like twilight! Mossies know so too.
The attached photo was taken locally at 4pm

We stopped in at this great location overnight to catch up with Cat and Pete.
Day 2 and time to move on. However not before another session finding a few more Caches.
So many interesting stories shared on the Headstones.

Continuing our tour of the area, cemetery's are always interesting, got the info required, off to GZ, this one had us looking for quite a while, good hide, signed log and replaced. Thanks to pprass.
Caching in the area with whitewebbs and this was one we found.
We obtained the required information to complete this cache , cache and contents were in good condition and adding to our favourites.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found with YGAT on our early morning walk through this lovely historic precinct. The cache had not been replaced properly and was thus visible from a distance. A quick find in other words.
Thanks pprass for the educational puzzle.

Found with Mr MR. Working out where the cache is located was not too great a challenge once we had the information we needed, and a bit of luck at GZ meant we soon had it in hand. Thanks pprass.
Found info but not at cemetery, then a walk, a look, and a find after about 10 minute search, Nice hide,if I hadn't found it would have returned as nice cool place to search, Tftc
" EVENTUALLY"!!! GOT IT!! and signed ,after many visits , head scratching etc.. Thanks prass. I'am sure this cache has been in my hands a fair while ago !! Anyway it's got a username today !! +FP
Heading south and detouring for a break in pace decided to head through PM. Sadly the first few caches were all infested with muggles so I continued on and stopped for a rest and use of the rest rooms and noticed this one in a very interesting spot.
I always enjoy a wander around these historical sites and it wasn't long and I found the spot that I needed and set about gathering the information needed. With a bit of mental excercise I was able to come up with some numbers and headed off to GZ.
The first search I came up empty handed so I did a quick check of my numbers and then had another look and this time soon had the nicely hidden cache in hand. [^]
I was quick to sign the log as the local mozzies had decided that my ankles were a good source of food!
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.
I ended up taking a bit more time to look around before heading back to the car and continuing my journey.
A favourite point for the fun.

I took along some trackables for a visit.

My second search turned up nothing despite confirmation from the CO that I was in the right place
Found the grave, but not the cache. Even with the hint we searched a while, nothing suspicious to spot... Good luck for the next one!
Found back while we were living in nearby Kempsey during one of our many trip to Port.
As indicated by others, the difficulties began after the new co-ordinates were calculated. An unsuccessful search this time but we will return.
I got the impression the CO wanted me to include this one in my list before leaving Port. So after setting up the family fishing and photographing I came here on my way to the supermarket. After examining the plaque and answering the questions I determined GZ and set to searching. Well it had me totally stumped and after going up and down and up and down I called in for a hint. Even with a detailed explanation it STILL took some finding. Eventually go the blighter.
First find of Day 7 of my Road Trip before my middle son’s eighteenth birthday.
After brunch from the award winning bakery, we now know why, it was a short walk to GZ. But, I took a much longer and interesting way!?!
Then it was a search for a very tricky hide they took a phone-a-friend to help me find.

We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Port Macquarie for our annual summer holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer at the Breakwall (Sundowner) Holiday Park. Today we spent the morning at the Kooloonbung Creek Nature Reserve, collecting caches around the circuit track, then after lunch we visited Historic Roto House and the Koala Hospital. This was our 1st find of the day, and 50th find of the holiday.
We started our walk at the cemetery, which are places we quite like visiting, and this Mystery cache was first on our list. Had a wander through the cemetery and soon spotted the pictured tomb, grabbing the required info, loading up the GPSr, then heading off to final GZ.
Starting looking around but it was geoson#1 who came up trumps with CIH. Signed the log sheet and then replaced the sneakily hidden cache container where we had found it. TFTC pprass.

Forms and solved the puzzle quite easily, and appreciated the short travel distance to GZ. Had to fight of the mozzies, but thankfully Geowife was on to it quickly. TFTC
I don't normally dwell on a DNF but for some reason, I haven't been able to put this one out mind since it eluded me last time I was in Port 18 months back. Perhaps it's because I searched for it for longer than I normally do, but the result is that this cache was on my 'must do' list for this week.
I returned today and with a bit of intelligence gleaned from the CO, I was able to make the find pretty quickly ... naturally in a spot that I had searched numerous times on my last visit. Not sure how I missed it then because it is visible to the eye ... but it needs to be eagle eyes!
Thanks for the cache and for another insight into Port Macquarie's history.

Enjoyed the walk through the old graveyard and after some quick calculations, we were on our way to GZ. Spent quite some time searching, up and down, left and right, even using iPhone torch to peer into dark places. Unfortunately the hide was way to good for us today. Started to smell smoke and noticed it coming from nearby. Went over to investigate and looks like someone is living there although we didn't spot anyone. #DNFpride

This one took a long time, found on second attempt after collecting other caches in kooloonbung. Well hidden. TFTC.
Knowing just how excited by and interested PPrass is in our weather reports we would really hate to let him down. The weather has changed a bit today. After weeks of blue skies and temperatures in the 20's we've got clouds, strong winds and have had to break out our jumpers. Still it's much warmer than back home in Victoria, and we aren't battling rain, hail or snow, so we are really quite happy to be here. Lots of lovely caches for us to find just puts the icing on the cake for us.
Except for this one.......
Found WP1 quite easily. Took us a while before we found the actual cache. Lucky we needed a good cardio workout after last nights excellent and very large meal. Looked in the right place twice before Mr SKI's eagle eyes spotted something not quite right. Sneaky little devil!

Well another glorious day for some Caching and to come back to Port Macquarie. Mystery was easily solved, but then came the step fitness challenge. After doing today's workout and finally finding this little blighter and being too early to crack a beer. Okay we go to our next Cache. TNLN SL TFTC

This was a busy roadtrip - driving from Melbourne to pick up CT_ZA in Sydney, and then spending a few days at the Gold Coast. 4500km covered in a week with much sightseeing and just a 'little' caching .
Having picked up my roadtrip partner in Sydney we headed north past Newcastle.
After dinner nearby we made our way across the road in the dark. Gathered the required info and then took about 20 minutes to find the cache. Almost a DNF ! Dodged a massive huntsman spider near GZ.
Thanks for the fun 'night' multi, pprass.

I had looked at this cache description before but had not got here to explore. Today while I was searching for the traditionals in this area I walked along the boardwalk and up a set of stairs and eyed something familiar- the waypoints for this cache. Well, I can do this one today too then. Quick look around to get the information required and it was back along the path in search of GZ. Walked up and down, around the top and bottom, along the walkway and back and finally spied what I was searching for. Extraction ok, container not happy to open at all. A bit of banging the top on the rails with the lid and finally it began to turn. signed log and returned. TFTC pprass. a great puzzle and a favourite to be awarded.
After a wander around the cemetery we headed over to collect the required numbers and then to the final gz where we were left searching for a few minutes before the sneaky hide was located. Thanks again pprass for the cache and for showing us around this historic resting place.
A quick scan of the cemetery and we were off to find the tomb in question. An interesting read and we had the coords to GZ in hand. It was a bit of a search until Happy pants put his hands on the hide. Thanks for highlighting this piece of history for us and for the cache.
The boys were now out for Golf so that meant I could get one or two more caches.
I was very much looking forward to this cache and did not take us long to find what we were looking for. BUT.... we walked past what seems to be a shanty town down the end there. A few tents and chairs spread out. I don't think that is an area for camping.
At GZ it took a long time to come up with the goods. But soon had the log signed.

Stopped in Port for a couple of days on our way home to Sydney from the Waterfall Way. Nice to revisit the town after we had a holiday unit here over 25 years ago. Came by his morning and read about the NCO but geosenses were dull and we didn't turn anything up. A chance encounter with pprass later in the day pointed us in the right direction, how did we not see that before? Once signed, we were free to grab a pre-dinner celebratory beer! SL TFTC Cheers... 2nd time lucky! We solved the initial part of this a week or 2 ago while trying to find a suitable location for our weeping angel cache, but rain and time were against us. Dragged a reluctant muggle gran around Koolunbung today and found it. Her pen came in handy! Nice cache Pprass.
We're visiting from Florida, USA. That was great fun but no luck today. Sigh. Thanks for placing the cache.
Had great hopes for this one as the coordinates and the hint aligned so certain of correct location but after 45min search couldn't locate the little cache A had fun practicing going up and down the steps the whole time though.
Third attempt and i finally found it. My GPS kept leading me to one structure. after searching it top to bottom i gave up. I then came back and tried again looking at other things in the area but it was getting dark. i read through previous logs and managed to narrow my search down and found it within 5mins. TFTC
TFTC, I thought a Sunday search for this one would mean no workmen around and I was right, I had the place to myself and was preparing for a tricky search but amazingly the well hidden cache was found in under 5 minutes.
I was at my calculated GZ. A place with steps and posts as per the hint, had a good but reserved look as there were 4 council workmen nearby doing work which itself was a surprise. Will need more time on this one as it is obviously a tricky one.
I was able to calculate the GZ for this one ahead of my arrival in Port for a holiday, but despite visiting GZ twice and checking everywhere that fits in with the T rating and the provided hint, I haven't been able to come up with a find. I must have blinkers on, or it's simply too good for me.
Thanks for placing this cache here anyway pprass ... even though I'm walking away without a smiley, I did enjoy doing the puzzle and having a walk around the historic cemetery taking in some of the history of the town. Wasn't so keen on all the bats though ...

Heck you are getting sneaky in your old age pprass. We worked out the location a few weeks ago but as we arrived at ground zero the heavens opened up and put a real damper on our enthusiasm. Today was hot but dry and we had success. Took us about 20 minutes of hard searching before we had the little sucker. Thank you for placing this cache and bringing us to this special location.
