Muggled (second time) and completely destroyed (1st time).
Will see what I can do about fixing and replacing in the near future, because it did seem to be pretty popular.
Oh well, there goes another ammo box.

came two days in a row and after 90 minutes of rummaging didn't find it but found several laminated "history lesson" pages scattered halfway down the rockface along with several items unlikely to get dumped in the bush (did your cache get muggled and scattered ?????), came back today after narrowing down the search to one rock and all that was there was empty soft drink bottles and other rubbish
and there is a broken couch near the bottom trapped in tree branches which looks like it was recently thrown from the top (flattened vegetation and dirt still visible) and those items were along the path the falling couch made

ahh , So much of my youth spent near here seeing bands at kangaroo rock before it closed down. Great spot

Great place for a cache, first cache for my friend, hope he likes it, left two travelbugs and also made some photos, but forgot to put a souvenir into Jack's bag, sorry- but I didn't see the two other TB which should be in there, hmm
Left a turtle, too, took braclet, tftc

Popped into this cache with previous finder Smatty. This cache was extra difficult as it was dark and all we had was a mobile phone torch. Nice spot and statue. I bet a lot of locals don't know it exists. Cheers.
This one had me going........ Great View! I should have been working, but hey lifes short. Took out a dart flight and put in a bulldog clip.
4th of 4 for the day caching with Hawkeye747....An easy find here after quite a walk aroung the Manly area picking up the ones missed/bypassed last month.....Now its on to the nearby pub to "rest"...TFTC!!
Once we figured out how to get there it was an easy find. #4 find with The Voucher. Now we need to find a pub. TNLN TFTC
Brilliant surprise as we had no idea this landform feature existed. Definitely a feature of Manly worthy of a cache - thanks for tempting us away from the beaches.

3:50 PM - We had some exercise walking up from the street below. The views were wonderful. Thank you for this Manly cache. (#1322)
1St of 3 caches found on our day trip to Manly. Hard work to get to site but once there not to long to find. This cache took us to a great view we would not have seen if not caching
First of 3 on a day trip to Manly. Walked from jetty along beach then followed GPS. Had a little trouble finding the correct route on foot but got there and was rewarded by both the find and the view
What a beautiful day to walk around Manly. Found it in the first place we looked. Dropped 2 TBs. TFTC.
This one I couldn't find. Tried it twice, found all the glass but even using the hint no success. The only thing I found was an empty camera bag. Had to leave Australia meanwhile so I won't have another chance to get this cache. (I so wanted to get the TB )
GPS batteries gave up 50m before the cache (memo to self: never go out without spare batteries) but we still managed to find the cache, using the hint. Loved the spot! Took us away from all the touristy bits and gave us another view of Manley. TFTC.
awesome view, the borruso clan's first cache. definatly hooked on this wonderful hobby. took the guitar pick and wooden coin, can't remember what we left.
thanx

It's funny that we used to live close to this cache but never knew about the sandstone kangaroo on Kangaroo St (doh, so THAT'S where the name comes from!). Found the cache with some friends, but came out battle-scarred with paper cuts from the aggressive plants... still, it was definitely worth it for the views over Manly. TNLN SL - Thanks for sharing a little bit of Manly history that we didn't know before.
Found with kimjayne & fret3. Left pen and guitar pick, had to wait for bloke sitting nearby to leave.
We went for this treasure since it was less than 500 feet from our lodgings....but that 500 feet was almost straight up! We were accompanied by Narrabeen and Fret3, which was the latter's first find. Left a guitar pick and a red and white pen. Great little cache, and the view can't be beat.
First find wile in the Manly area. As you said it’s an out of the way area, spoke to one of the locals they knew nothing about the area. Love this cashing it puts you into some great spots and gives its history.

We looked at the wrong elevation and had given up when we deicded to take the high road. And then it was plain and easy!
Cheers.

We looked down the bottom at first but then with the cache description took the top road. How about this nice little spot! Hoojar had the cache in hand before I even had time to sort out where I was. Dropped off TB and left TB.

cute bit of kitsch in an otherwise posh street. Left army truck- seemed fitting.
I did not find it, and now I see why. I had the old coordinates loaded from last week before I left the States. I don't mind much, as it was worth it just for the view!!! What a beautiful day.

I have now fixed, moved and improved this cache.
It is now a small Ammo Box, so there is more room for bits and pieces. I have moved the cache a few metres and hopefully hidden it a bit better to cut down on the muggle risk factor.
Please make sure you replace it exactly as you found it.
There can be broken glass in the area, so take care. A good spot for Cache in Trash out...

After repairs and moving the cache several metres, it is now ready to be visited again.
The cache is now a small ammo box.
Contents at this time include:
Anything I could find that was left...
a green creature, a "Goofy" pen a small geocache magnet/sticker, a Texan laminated traveling card, a surfing DVD about the east coast of Australia, a couple of my yeeehah wooden coins, a printout of the cache log from this site, since the original log was lost. The history information has been laminated.
I have placed my first TB, "SurfinSafari" here and hope it will travel all over the planet.
Unfortunately, it appears that "Ham Bug" and Island Hoppers went missing at the same time as the log. My sympathies go out to those bugs.

This will teach me to read the description prior to searching. My paper was printed several days ago prior to leaving California so I didn't know this one had been disabled....Found the Kangaroo and spent 20 minutes here that could have been spent in one of the nearby pubs....The thought of it!!!! Ah well, had a great day of hiking for the 6 local caches closest to Manly Pier. I'll check back here next trip down in May. tv
I finally got a chance to get to the cache site today.
It's pretty messed up, so I will reclaim what I can and put a new container out in the next few days.
Thanks to those who mentioned it was in trouble.
Unfortunately the log was missing.
I will advise when it is back online.

Found the cache (or better the remains). Seems as it have been muggeled.
I found only the lid of the container, the logbook and some small trading stuff. The box itself is gone as well as the TB's . Not sure, if I looked at the right place, but I am quite sure, that the rest is gone.
I will flag this for maintenance, so that the owner can take a look.

What a view! I think I looked quite lost while figuring out how to get to this cache but eventually got there. Left my first TB here in hopes it will visit Islands around the world as it travels. Thanks for bringing me to this spot.
What a spectacular view of Manly. Met a young fellow named Zeke taking in the view. Explained GCing to him while the ants were biting my feet and legs... ouch!
Part of the container seems to be missing. Rest of cache is intact. TFTC.

Enjoyable mid morning visit with 7yo Summit Force adventurer. Mission accomplished with no meddling muggles.
Left a lanyard (picked up from 3-6-2000 that morning) took a spinning top.

Found at 1445. After arriving in Manly via ferry, my wife said she wanted to lay on the beach for a while, so I ducked off to find a couple of caches. After seeing the stairs, I thought I had better check out the lower GZ first just in case, after which I doubled back, up the stairs, along the track, and to the cache. Fantastic track. Cache does need to be fully enclosed, or it will eventually get wet.

Just started poking around at the base of the cliff & I heard "are you geocaching". I looked down & it was a fellow geocacher (didn't get his name). He suggested I use the stairs & path. Great tip, much easier.
Found cache as previous log said, lid only, bags in good condition tho'.
Heaps of empties around so please re-hide well folks.
No TB here.

We wanted to catch a ferry fromm Manly to Circular Quay and back and thought we would catch a train to Manly. but then we thought we wouldn't be able to geocache so we drove over instead. First cache for today. Funny thing about this cache is that I didn't go to the top to find the cache because I found it to hard to climb up the side of the rock. So Dad singned my name in. But then Dad told me their was stairs to the top. Too bad. But he did tell me it was in bad condition.

1720 Was going to catch a train in Sydney to give the boys a feel of what it was like when we (Mrs C & self) were kids, but decided to save time and drive down to some old haunts.
Parked at the bottom, and missed the stairs up, 'by that much', so clambered up with younger son (aka Fang) in cohoots. Amazed at all the lounges, etc thrown off the top.
Found the cache - minus the container, only the lid and 2 bags. Needs a ~1 litre Sistema style to replace it, but was in rush to Circular Quay, or would have dropped by Coles at Manly.
Brought 4x TB's through: Love Bunny, Ozzy, Kidzone1, & Dr Quack
Took: Zoloft pen
Left: pen, bouncy ball and snake

My first cache Down Under. After having muggle problems in Sydney, I thought to give it a try in Manly. And my thoughts were right, mugglefree.
What a nice view from up here. I had to scare of a local (spider) to make my way to the cache.

The Statue is looking a little worse for wear. The Geoboy always loves it when there is a "Sitting Chair" at a Cache and despite the fact that there had been 37 mm of rain the prior night he had to a have a sit in the lounge, with the expected result of a wet bum. Brilliant views and thanks for taking us to a place that we did not know existed.

Awesome views. Would have never have been to this spot if it wasn't for caching. Was reasonably easy to find, as I am carrying precoius cargo for the next 9 monhs I had to sit and my other half found it. Love the coin. Took the geocoin and left a few little things.
Great view point over Manly. Left an Australia Geocoin plus a few toys in exchange for a lantern keyring.
I dare say I would never have found this spot if not for this cache. Great views across the water and a nice hide too. TNLN thanks.
Found this one on the way home after the jazz festival. Lovely view from here. I took the BadAndy geocoin and left a Chinese good luck ribbon.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Found this one after a short stroll. We went to Manly to visit the annual Manly Jazz Festival. This is our second visit there. If you like jazz (or jazz-like) music, you really should try it out. Anyway, on our way back to the car we quickly found this one. The views are really nice. Took: nothing, left: TB and geocoin.
Our second cache-break from the Manly Jazz Festival. Thanks "yeehah" for showing us this little-known piece of Manly and thanks for the interesting history lesson.
I liked the sign nearby for the hop skip and jump bus. We saw the said bus a little later too. Thanks for bringing us here too.
I know I have said it before, but in all the times I have been to Manly, I have never been here. Great sculpture.
Not such a flash view of the top of Manly.
Thanks, Robmc.

Nice little cache, and what a top spot. Found a couple of locals taking in the sunset (sorry to wreck their peace and quiet with 3 geokids thrashing round!) - anyway, they mentioned how hardly anyone knows about the spot, so we felt privileged to have shared it.
An enjoyable quest to find this quirky spot. Met with three local muggles who were entranced to learn more about the Geocaching game. A good hide, all is in order with this cache. Enjoyed our visit here as part of our day trip to Manly.

Great views and interesting sculpture. Interesting to see art and sculpture from that time as kangaroos always have the same distortions to them.
A top spot with a great view. So great someone has put a couch there.
One huge Kangaroo too. Shame the area isn't treated with the respect it deserves, a lot of litter in the area.

We tried to approach this from the wrong direction and ended up at the bottom of the cliff. Interesting bit of history that time has nearly forgotten.
Time has not been kind to our friend the kangaroo. He looks like someone has taken a shotgun to his ears. Middle age spread has set in as well.

Found today by Mr Emu & Son @ 2.55 p.m., GAFF1. We are on holiday in Sydney, and the spectacular rock formations at the bottom of the path were a great discovery for us. We enjoyed the shaded walk up to this cache and, of course, the great views at the top. A pity that Skippy couldn't hear us though (see photo). The poor old fella has seen better days, I think. Thanks for this historic cache, Yeeehah.

The weather was better for us today, just a brilliant winters day! OK, well, night as it just so happens to be.
Easy find, took a TB.
What a fat, weird looking roo.
Could see the waves breaking at the beach from here.
Great spot.

TFTC - found with Genome on a chilly and wet day. Rocks weren't slippy, but careful where you search. Enjoyed fish-n-chips at the Steyne Hotel bistro with a pint while trying to get warm again... thanks!
Boy, what a wet day. After walking around Manly in the rain with no umbrella Cache Sushi and I finally climbed up and found this cache. Great location, and if it hadn't been raining I'm sure the view would have been amazing. After finding the cache, and contemplating the Kangaroo we headed back to town for some fish and chips. Left and Took nothing but signed the log. Thanks for a great cache and location. (wish the weather had been better ) .
We hopped in here last night, but was too dark, so decided to come back today. Glad we did - great view of Manly from up here, and very secluded. Nice easy find - TFTC. TN LN SL.
Thought we would get in a bit of caching whilst the rain held off. Managed to get tis one just as it started. Coming up here certainly brought back heaps of memories from the teenage years.

Right on spot ... Took TB "I'm not Nemo", he will soon visit a very special tropical resort ... left a yellow marking pen.
This little spot holds a bit of mystery
And from the logs a bit of geocaching history
Didn’t come across any unsavoury lugs
Or anything to do with drugs
Only an odd looking Kangaroo
And a bloody nice view
So thanks for bringing us here,
As far as I can see there is nothing to fear.
The poor old roo isn't looking much like Skippy anymore, I guess thats to be expected after sitting in the elements up there for so many years.
Great cache thanks.

On the way back from a kids birthday party I wanted to swing by and was hoping that I may have a FTF but had resigned myself that this was not really on the cards. When I found the cache I was 2nd. If only I had come before the party and not after. TFTC
I had checked this location a few times before I set the cache and saw no evidence of dangerous or unpleasant items. A few wall lizards and some spikey bushes. If people do find things like this please let me know.
Second FTF for the day. Quick easy find and amazed that we have driven past here many times but never stopped.TNLNSL
This is the exact same place that we placed a cache called 'Hop to It'. We had to archive it due to the needles and condoms that abound in the area. A great site but not for caching.
