Great day for some caching and exploring new places before taking the ferry home tonight. Loved our time on KI! TFTC!

Great find near the Eucalyptus Farm.

Amanda is working for a while in KI and Ive come down to visit for a week. Doing our best to discover every cache on the island during our time. Driving to the south and west today to explore and grab as many as we can. This one was a nice easy grab by the side of the road, out in plain site but not immediately seen due to the type of container. Love it TFTC

Visiting the island for the day, so decided to knock off a few caches. TFTC

We have arrived on Kangaroo Island for a 5 day break. We first had this trip planned several years back but that year KI had an extreme fire situation happen and we were offered a refund on our trip which we took. We have waited this long so that the island could regrow and show herself at her best. We have been using geocaching to guide us around and two days into our break we can certainly attest to her beauty. The caching has been interesting and we have many earth caches to write up and send to COs. All the caches we have found so far are in good condition. We did replace one log sheet. SL TFTC

It took us a little while to understand the title but it became evident when we pulled up to search for the cache. Once GT37 realised how old the cache was, this was a must. Pleased to say we found it with no problems. Thanks for placing this for all to enjoy.

I love attempting to find the older caches so once I noticed the date of this placement, it was a have to for us. We were fortunate that it didn't take long to find as we soon have to exit the island. With the long weekend coming up, we could only visit for the day. Thank you for placing this cache and maintaining it for so long.

Outnabout on an organised tour from the Grand Princess. Found I had 21 minutes to spare and so made a dash for the cache. Was out and back in 9 minutes with log signed and replaced. A family of cockroaches welcomed me to my surprise. Thanks for hiding and maintaining. My first on KI.

bunadoorian, myself and muggle friends Linda and Eva were on a day out. After visiting the nearby local attraction bunadoorian was first to this cache. Cache found in good condition. TFTC and for bringing us here shonkylogic.

Done with Trodectus, sneaked away from family after lunch at the eucalyptus distillery and walked to GZ. Quickly had CIH, log signed and returned, then dropped off traveling companion. TFTC

Found with COybear2000. Doing a tour of Kangaroo Island with friends, we stopped at the eucalyptus distillery for lunch. While our friends were finishing theirs, we took a walk to GZ. The rain had started but we had an umbrella. Once at GZ we quickly spotted the hide. Log stamped and all replaced and we headed back. TFTC.

Day three of our stay on Kangaroo Island was a wet and bleak affair, so Ms Atalanta and I went for a drive to see the industries that have, over the years, been the backbone of the island’s economy. This cache is near a eucalyptus oil distillery which we visited before finding this cache in a historic (antique?) container.

We were heading south to Seal Bay today to take in the sights and delights of KI. This one was spotted on the map by the navigator and she asked why I hadnt earmarked it for a visit. No problem as we veered off the main drag. A quick stop here, find and sign, nice big metal container doing well here, lid still in good operation. Book signed and returned safely. Thanks for the cache shonky logic.

Day 2 of a 6 night visit to the Island. Today the weather was perfect. The container easily found but it seems that the previous finder had not fully closed the lid. Cleaned out what we could and properly closed the lid and placed securely back in place. Mr and Mrs Parrot took a trip overseas to Kangroo island for the week.
We had a lovely time finding caches and interacting with the people selling produce and food to the public.
It fabulous to see the green starting to come baack into the fire ravaged areas.We had hired a house in Kingscote and ventured out each day in a different direction to see the sights and what the island had t off.
We also picked up 60 odd caches along the way.
My thanks for the quick responses to the Geocaches and the virtual cache which we sorted out before logging.
It was good to be able to complete Wonders of the world and become an Ultimate Explorer during my stay.

We visited the nearby farm and loaded up with goodies after having a cider.

Soon found the cache and made a mark

Today we went to the east part of Kangaroo Island to visit the Êmu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and Clifford's Honey Farm.

This was a quicky found although we had to return to the Distillery after the Honey Farm as I first had in mind, this cache was near the Honey Farm....
