Was NikkiPi95's first cache with swappables so she was excited...but (un)fortunately I found it first Hey...I gave her a headstart!
Joshtait found it while we were out for a drive doing geocaching. Thought it was a great idea going to a Cemetery to find one. Bit of an adventure finding the container. Thanks heaps
After looking in dismay at a fairly new looking fence all around the grave yard and knowing the cache was probably on the other side! Us oldies are not supposed to be climbing fences says hubby, but the cache is somewhere over there . I decided it had to be done while the others looked on. It was not in the obvious log and eventually I found it lying upside down not hidden, but out of view, a little bit damp but not too bad. We signed the pink book and returned it with a few bits of bark to cover.Wonderful view from here over farm land thanks for bringing us here. Now to get back over!
In Omarama with BCD and today's mission was a bit more of the A20 from Otemetata to Kurow and a few more caches along the way. Mission completed and a quick detour here before heading home TFTC
Caching around the back country picking up a few targeted caches plus more. Nice big cache with a big view. All good here tftc
I thought I would be coming passed this one but soon realised I was in a different road. Saw that it hadn’t been found for 2.5 years so detoured up the hill to find the cache in excellent condition. Tftc
Thanks for the view and the bloody legs due to too many unwanted prickles. Very quiet here today, nobody around... just the sound of a plane flying south to sunny invercargill... and a tic, tic, tic, tic-tic-tic irrigator irrigating the paddocks.
Beautiful view. I grew up a few minutes down the road, so nice to be back in the area and see the changes
Caching with our team for the geofest signing as TTT. Having heaps of fun traversing this area. We got introduced to Matagari! We dont have that in Aus, no surprises why everyone stood back and let us grab this one lol Tftc
Found with TTT. Having a wonderful time caching with the group and going to all of the Geofest events! Thanks for the cache! Caching with dghoffy, and did let them discover the joys of matagari!
We were visiting this spot with my brother-in-law looking of relatives when friends of ours remembered previous caches I'd taken them to. They commented "wouldn't it be funny if there was one here". I told them there was bound to be one, had a look and we were only 14m away!
A quick hunt and NZGecko had it in hand. Signed by me, NZGecko, and NotManlyJack. The cache and contents are in good shape.
Took the obligatory photos of the view and carried on our way.

Found with Rincewind3 and NZGecko while visiting the location looking for relatives. A lovely Autumn day in North Otago.

Found with Mum (Not Manly Jack) and Dad (Rincewind3). After someone suggested there might be one here Dad started looking and soon saw it, but he couldn't get past the spiky plants to get it. I managed to find a way in and got to the cache first!

Very nice cemetery, and a nice view also. I was surprised how few plots were taken! TFTC!!
I was on my way back to Awamoko and this popped up on the GPS. Been just about a year since last visited.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Nice old cemetery. Looked around for relations that used to live near here but no luck.
Crawled under the trees to log this one with granville86a, nice views across the valley, TFTC

Headed out for a weekend of crazy caching with sharkiefan - it was all about numbers this weekend!
For me personally, I needed the numbers so that I could get enough caches to bring my average a day back up to 4 caches at least for this year, as on a streak it's not really possible to find heaps of caches in your home hood!
This was one out of the 116 we found over the two days. And a huge thank you to all the cachers who put out all these caches! Loved the fun time we had - though weekend could have ended better!
Sorry for not writing cooler logs, but heading overseas in a couple days, and I don't exactly want to be behind in my logging then!! Haha.

Off the main road and we find a cemetery with a great view. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Had to fight through some low branches to get to GZ but nothing is going to put us off grabbing the smiley. Found with debsnz
Last time we made plans to find this cache, we found we were unable to due to a motor vehicle show that blocked off the area. We were pleased to be able to access it this time! An easy find, TFTC.
Great views from here. Had thought this would be a good area for a cache myself.

Woke this morning to find snow in the hills around which explains the bitter cold. We aren't complaining too much because at least the rain has gone. Cache was spotted a bit exposed, possible by the lambs getting into the cemetery, returned how believe it should be. TFTC

After a failed attempt to get to GZ, I decided an approach from a different angle might be needed. I was right. The view is commanding and the old flour mill stands out.
20:00 Damn near dug myself a grave outside. One van, one spinning left rear... Great to see a pre-shrunk S.I. Geocache... Much better than the 'standard' 200ml containers Cheers, GC.
A nice spot with great views Thanks for the cache Bitsprayer.
Found as part of an epic NZ Mega Event trip. Day 7 - Oamaru and surrounds before heading North to Timaru in the company of agcnz, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroads and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Great views here, and a quick stroll was a nice break from all the park and grabs.
Thanks for the cache, Bitsprayer.

Came here with fozzmiester, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees on a circuitous day caching trip from Oamaru to Timaru. Definitely a great view. The cache was a quick find - signed log, TFTC!

Had a battle with a spiky bush on the way to GZ but found the well hidden cache where the GPS pointed. TNLN TFTC ds8300

15 mins left - can I ride and get the cache up the squiggly road? It was a thigh burning effort, then a quick run to what looked like GZ, but cache wasn't there. Running out of time, I realise I'm ~10m off. Find the cache, roar down the hill, make it back just in time

cache being well guarded. we looked at the view and our intended route. thanks
A really nice view from here. I had real trouble trying to get myself close enough to the container without poking myself but managed it in the end - a good challenge. Thanks.
Once I had got past the tree barricade GZ afforded a nice view of Ngapara. Thanks for the cache.
Lovely views of the valley, thanks. Still couldn't see the Mill cache though!. SL, TFTC
Nice wee view from here, and finding the cache was easy once you avoided the thorns. Cheers Gav [7464]
I'm in favour of the cement works but the only downside is that there are not actually any new jobs as there will be layoffs on the west coast.

Nice to go to a cemetery and NOT have to read ALL of the gravestones...

Another find by the eagle eyes - certainly a great view, but with the wind today we had to hold down younger members of the team! TFTC

Found with YuGeo4. Another quick find in the dark must be great views out there but I couldn’t see much out there it’s DARK. TFTC TNLNSL (1310)
Gee thanks, we looked like we'd been through a hedge backwards, nice way to start our day. Nice views, love the country roads. TFTC.
Annie came up trumps this time as she started at the better end of the hint item. ToyotaVX was beaten this time! Barely time for Annie to view the view, and no time at all to wander amongst the gravestones as the blokes were keen to continue the day's journey. TNLN TFTC
Great views down over valley. Bitsprayer must have used his lunch box for thsi cache. TFTC
Wee bit of an encounter with the nearby thorns. Great outlook of the surrounding countryside from a very restful spot.

Another quiet spot in the country, I wonder if they will open the railway again if the mine starts up? TNLN Thanks.
